Myanmar nationals in Japan appeal to U.S. President Donald Trump during his visit to Japan to take effective action in support of Myanmar\u2019s cause<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 27<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During U.S. President Donald Trump\u2019s visit to Japan, Myanmar nationals living in Japan made a heartfelt appeal calling for effective action to help address Myanmar\u2019s crisis, according to a statement released by the&nbsp;<strong>NUG Support Team Japan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The demonstration was held near the&nbsp;<strong>U.S. Embassy in Tokyo<\/strong>, where Myanmar nationals residing in Japan, democracy activists, and Japanese citizens concerned about Myanmar\u2019s democratic struggle gathered to participate. Numerous media outlets were also present to document and report on the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, the participants urged President Trump to take effective measures to&nbsp;<strong>support Myanmar\u2019s democratic forces<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>hold accountable the terrorist military commission led by Min Aung Hlaing<\/strong>&nbsp;for its&nbsp;<strong>human rights violations<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>criminal activities<\/strong>&nbsp;that threaten regional stability, including&nbsp;<strong>drug trafficking, online financial scams, and war crimes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also appealed for vigilance against&nbsp;<strong>China\u2019s growing regional influence<\/strong>, which has been&nbsp;<strong>backing and supporting the Myanmar military regime<\/strong>, and called for the&nbsp;<strong>voices and aspirations of the Myanmar people<\/strong>&nbsp;to be heard and respected in shaping international responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, democracy activists from Japan\u2019s Myanmar community&nbsp;<strong>submitted an open letter to the U.S. Government<\/strong>, which was confirmed to have been&nbsp;<strong>received before President Trump\u2019s participation in the ASEAN Summit<\/strong>, with acknowledgment of receipt already conveyed back to the organizers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also announced plans to&nbsp;<strong>strongly oppose the junta\u2019s attempt to hold an unlawful election<\/strong>&nbsp;and to continue&nbsp;<strong>people\u2019s protest movements<\/strong>. Human Rights, Child Rights, and Mine Risk Awareness Trainings conducted across three townships in Sagaing Region<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 27<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Ministry of Human Rights<\/strong>&nbsp;has announced that&nbsp;<strong>Human Rights, Child Rights, and Mine Risk Awareness Trainings<\/strong>&nbsp;were conducted throughout&nbsp;<strong>Min Mu<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Wuntho<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Tee Chaing<\/strong>&nbsp;Townships in&nbsp;<strong>Sagaing Region<\/strong>&nbsp;during the month of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Min Mu Township<\/strong>, residents from&nbsp;<strong>15 villages<\/strong>&nbsp;attended the training, while in&nbsp;<strong>Wuntho Township<\/strong>, students, teachers, and parents participated. Along with mine risk awareness education,&nbsp;<strong>stationery and nutritional support<\/strong>&nbsp;were also provided to the attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, in&nbsp;<strong>Tee Chaing<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Wuntho Townships<\/strong>, participants were briefed on&nbsp;<strong>human rights awareness, complaint mechanisms, child protection, and mine risk prevention<\/strong>. Karen National Police Force completes Basic Short-Term Training Batch No. 1 in Le Mular Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 27<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Karen National Union (KNU)<\/strong>, in its&nbsp;<strong>Myeik-Tavoy District<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Le Mular Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Tapo Village Tract<\/strong>, has announced the successful completion of the&nbsp;<strong>Basic Short-Term Training (Batch 1)<\/strong>&nbsp;for members of the&nbsp;<strong>Karen National Police Force (KNPF)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training was conducted from&nbsp;<strong>September 29 to October 25<\/strong>, with&nbsp;<strong>27 trainees<\/strong>&nbsp;participating. MNDDA provides free healthcare services and labor support for winter crop harvesting in Kyong Haw Tan Village<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 27<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help address challenges such as&nbsp;<strong>limited access to medical care<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>financial hardship<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Political Department<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Health Department<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>Special Region (1)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Mong Koe District<\/strong>, jointly organized a&nbsp;<strong>free medical treatment program<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>October 23, 2025<\/strong>, at&nbsp;<strong>Kyong Haw Tan Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Mong Koe Township<\/strong>, according to a statement released by the&nbsp;<strong>MNDAA (Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Healthcare staff conducted&nbsp;<strong>blood pressure and blood glucose checks<\/strong>, as well as general medical examinations, for those who came to receive treatment. They also took time to&nbsp;<strong>patiently and thoroughly explain medical concerns<\/strong>, and provided&nbsp;<strong>professional guidance<\/strong>&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<strong>prevention and treatment of chronic illnesses.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, team members actively promoted&nbsp;<strong>public health awareness<\/strong>, encouraging&nbsp;<strong>scientific and health-conscious living habits<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>balanced dietary management<\/strong>, and the principle that&nbsp;<em>\u201cprevention is more important than cure.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program successfully provided medical services to a total of&nbsp;<strong>163 villagers<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Kyong Haw Tan Village<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a similar effort, to alleviate&nbsp;<strong>labor shortages<\/strong>&nbsp;faced by some farmers during the&nbsp;<strong>winter crop harvesting season<\/strong>, and to ease the&nbsp;<strong>time pressure<\/strong>&nbsp;of timely harvesting, more than&nbsp;<strong>20 staff members<\/strong>&nbsp;from the&nbsp;<strong>Special Region (1) Mong Koe District Administrative Committee<\/strong>&nbsp;assisted in implementing&nbsp;<strong>agricultural labor support programs<\/strong>&nbsp;to help local farmers complete their harvests efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>5. Two women brutally attacked with a machete in Mandalay; 84-year-old woman killed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 27<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local reports, a&nbsp;<strong>brutal attack<\/strong>&nbsp;occurred in&nbsp;<strong>Mandalay City<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Chanmyathazi Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Myothit (2) Ward<\/strong>, between&nbsp;<strong>70(B) Street<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>107(A)\/108 Streets<\/strong>, where&nbsp;<strong>two women were attacked with a machete<\/strong>&nbsp;on the morning of&nbsp;<strong>October 26<\/strong>, resulting in the death of an&nbsp;<strong>84-year-old elderly woman.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident is believed to have taken place&nbsp;<strong>on the night of October 25<\/strong>, and was first discovered&nbsp;<strong>around 7:00 a.m. on October 26<\/strong>&nbsp;by a visitor to the house.
