Seven Civilians Injured as Junta Air Force Bombs Villages in Wetlet Township Using Y-12 Aircraft and Gyrocopters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>October 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the&nbsp;<strong>Wetlet Informational Network<\/strong>, seven civilians were injured when the&nbsp;<strong>terrorist junta\u2019s air force<\/strong>&nbsp;carried out airstrikes using&nbsp;<strong>Y-12 aircraft<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>gyrocopters<\/strong>&nbsp;on villages across&nbsp;<strong>Wetlet Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Sagaing Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At approximately&nbsp;<strong>9:47 a.m. on October 26<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>Y-12 aircraft<\/strong>&nbsp;originating from&nbsp;<strong>Tada-U Air Base<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped&nbsp;<strong>49 bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;along the&nbsp;<strong>Wetlet\u2013Ywarthagyi road section<\/strong>&nbsp;in western Wetlet Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reports indicate that one of the injured civilians sustained&nbsp;<strong>a head injury<\/strong>&nbsp;caused by bomb shrapnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, two&nbsp;<strong>gyrocopters<\/strong>&nbsp;that departed from the&nbsp;<strong>Monywa-based No. (NAMAKHA)<\/strong>&nbsp;unit dropped&nbsp;<strong>two bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;on another area in western Wetlet Township at around&nbsp;<strong>10:30 a.m. on October 26<\/strong>, according to records from the Wetlet Informational Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A day earlier, on&nbsp;<strong>October 25<\/strong>, the same Y-12 aircraft from&nbsp;<strong>Tada-U Air Base<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped&nbsp;<strong>37 bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;on the western part of the township. Although there were no civilian casualties that day, it was part of a continuous series of air assaults by the junta forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to two consecutive days of these&nbsp;<strong>terrorist airstrikes<\/strong>, local residents from the affected areas have been forced to&nbsp;<strong>flee for safety<\/strong>, the report stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;2. \u201cCeasefire Agreement Is Not Genuine Peace,\u201d Says MNDAA Commander-in-Chief on the Second Anniversary of Operation 1027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>October 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<strong>Commander-in-Chief of the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA)<\/strong>&nbsp;stated that the existing&nbsp;<strong>ceasefire agreement<\/strong>&nbsp;with the&nbsp;<strong>military junta<\/strong>&nbsp;is only a&nbsp;<strong>temporary, stage-based outcome<\/strong>, not genuine peace. He emphasized the need for continued vigilance and strategic understanding in order to achieve true peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His remarks were made on&nbsp;<strong>October 25<\/strong>&nbsp;during the&nbsp;<strong>graduation ceremony of Week-1 Cadet Batch<\/strong>, marking the&nbsp;<strong>second anniversary of Operation 1027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He noted that the current ceasefire is&nbsp;<strong>not the final stage of peace<\/strong>, urging all troops to remain alert as&nbsp;<strong>the road toward true peace remains distant<\/strong>. Kanpetlet Township Administration Warns Against Holding Gatherings Following Junta Airstrikes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>October 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<strong>Kanpetlet Township People\u2019s Administration Team<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Chin State<\/strong>&nbsp;has issued a public warning advising residents&nbsp;<strong>not to organize mass gatherings or events<\/strong>, following recent&nbsp;<strong>airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;by the&nbsp;<strong>terrorist junta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The warning was issued on&nbsp;<strong>October 26<\/strong>, after consecutive junta air attacks on&nbsp;<strong>October 24 and 25<\/strong>, which targeted the town and surrounding areas. The attacks have raised serious safety concerns among local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement also advised people to&nbsp;<strong>construct protective bomb shelters<\/strong>&nbsp;to mitigate the risks of future air raids, as the junta\u2019s air force continues to commit&nbsp;<strong>indiscriminate and brutal attacks<\/strong>&nbsp;against both civilians and resistance forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On&nbsp;<strong>October 24<\/strong>, at around&nbsp;<strong>9:30 a.m.<\/strong>, the junta air force bombed&nbsp;<strong>Ward No. (2)<\/strong>&nbsp;in Kanpetlet using&nbsp;<strong>500-pound bombs<\/strong>, followed by another&nbsp;<strong>airstrike at 8:20 p.m. on October 25<\/strong>&nbsp;targeting the same town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The attacks killed&nbsp;<strong>three civilians<\/strong>, injured&nbsp;<strong>15 others<\/strong>, and destroyed&nbsp;<strong>five houses and three buildings<\/strong>, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, the&nbsp;<strong>Township Department of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management<\/strong>&nbsp;has also appealed to local residents to&nbsp;<strong>avoid unnecessary gatherings and crowded places<\/strong>&nbsp;during the coming days for their safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;4. Public Movement in Pyin Oo Lwin Protests the Dictatorial Regime and Its Sham Election<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>October 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In&nbsp;<strong>Pyin Oo Lwin<\/strong>, a town known both as the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCity of Flowers\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;and a&nbsp;<strong>stronghold of military training schools<\/strong>, the public staged a&nbsp;<strong>protest movement<\/strong>&nbsp;opposing the&nbsp;<strong>dictatorial regime<\/strong>&nbsp;and its planned&nbsp;<strong>sham election<\/strong>, according to the&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Movement Coordination Committee \u2013 Mandalay<\/strong>, which released the statement today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite being home to numerous junta military institutions, residents of Pyin Oo Lwin have continued to&nbsp;<strong>resist the dictatorship<\/strong>&nbsp;in various forms during the nearly&nbsp;<strong>five years since the military coup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In defiance of the regime and its&nbsp;<strong>fraudulent election plans<\/strong>, local residents staged public demonstrations at several prominent locations in the city \u2014 including the&nbsp;<strong>welcome sign<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>city clock tower<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>railway station<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>night market<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 displaying their&nbsp;<strong>courage, determination, and revolutionary spirit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Coordination Committee reported that Pyin Oo Lwin residents continue to face ongoing oppression, including&nbsp;<strong>arbitrary arrests, forced conscription, and extortion<\/strong>&nbsp;by junta soldiers and militia groups.
