Military Airstrikes on KIA Battalion 6 Territory in Hpakant: Over 30 Bombs Dropped<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local sources, the terrorist military junta launched airstrikes this morning, October 21, on the area controlled by Battalion 6 of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) in Hpakant Township, Kachin State, dropping more than 30 bombs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack targeted Kansi area under KIA Brigade 9\u2019s Battalion 6, beginning around 7:30 a.m. Reports indicate that the junta used a Y-12 aircraft to drop a total of 36 bombs and continued firing for about half an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A local source stated that one of the bombs directly hit a training site, destroying buildings and injuring around 50 individuals, including several officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the junta\u2019s ongoing air and artillery assaults on the Hpakant region, there have been civilian casualties as well, according to military reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been over four months since the junta began a major offensive in Hpakant, attempting to regain control through intensified military operations. Clashes between KIA allied forces and the junta troops have persisted, forcing many local civilians to flee to safer areas for refuge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Two Civilians Killed and Two Injured in Junta Airstrike on Mine Naw Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported that the terrorist junta launched another airstrike on Mine Naw town, located in Ta\u2019ang Brigade 1\u2019s area in northern Shan State, killing two civilians \u2014 one man and one woman \u2014 and injuring two others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the night of October 20, around 8 p.m., junta aircraft dropped two 250-pound bombs near Mine Naw central market, resulting in civilian deaths and injuries, and destroying ten houses and five shop buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta had also carried out airstrikes on October 19 against Namh San, Mantong, Mine Naw, and Momeik townships, injuring two civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to TNLA\u2019s Publicity and Information Department records, between October 1 and 18, the junta carried out&nbsp;<strong>28 airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;in TNLA-controlled territories, killing&nbsp;<strong>41 civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 including 2 monks, 8 children, 12 men, and 19 women \u2014 and injuring&nbsp;<strong>44 more<\/strong>, among them 11 children. Additionally,&nbsp;<strong>138 houses, 3 schools, 3 monasteries, 7 dormitories, and 4 other buildings<\/strong>&nbsp;were damaged or destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TNLA stated that the junta\u2019s airstrikes not only target resistance groups and ethnic armed organizations but also deliberately attack civilians in areas liberated by revolutionary forces \u2014 acts amounting to war crimes against innocent people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, TNLA and allied revolutionary forces have urged local communities to maintain high security awareness, take necessary precautions against air raids, and follow all recommended air-raid protection measures to safeguard their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. One Civilian Killed and Three Injured After Junta Airstrike on Monastery Shelter in Sarlingyi Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Monywa True News Information Team reported that the terrorist military junta dropped bombs from a fighter jet on a monastery in Sarlingyi Township, Sagaing Region, where internally displaced civilians were sheltering. The attack killed one displaced person and injured three others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident occurred on October 20 around 5:30 p.m., when the junta dropped three 120-mm bombs on a monastery in Htan Pu village, Sarlingyi Township, where war-displaced civilians were taking refuge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local sources said the attack was carried out while revolutionary forces were protecting Chinese Wanbao Company installations nearby, and the junta bombed the monastery sheltering displaced civilians in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is reported that coup leader&nbsp;<strong>Min Aung Hlaing<\/strong>, who illegally seized power, is preparing to hold a sham election at the&nbsp;<strong>Wanbao Chinese Company\u2019s<\/strong>&nbsp;site. To protect the company, the junta\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Northwestern Regional Command (Na Ma Kha)<\/strong>&nbsp;has deployed large numbers of troops around Wanbao, including approximately 100 soldiers outside the company\u2019s perimeter to provide direct security for Chinese personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, fighter aircraft from the Northwestern Command were seen patrolling the area again this morning, October 21, prompting the Monywa True News Information Team to issue safety warnings for local residents to remain alert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Five Pyu Saw Htee Militiamen Killed and Twelve Injured in Ambush on Junta Convoy East of Tant Se<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement from the Tant Se People\u2019s Defense Organization (Pa Ka Pha), five Pyu Saw Htee militiamen were killed and twelve others injured when revolutionary forces ambushed a junta military convoy on the eastern side of Tant Se Township, Sagaing Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ambush occurred around 9:30 a.m. on October 20, when resistance forces intercepted the junta convoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports indicate that the attacked convoy consisted of about 40 junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militiamen traveling from Aet Taw and The Kone villages in Tant Se Township toward Karbo Beck area in Kanbalu Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the attack, five Pyu Saw Htee members were killed and twelve seriously injured.
