Pa Ka Pha Forces in Thaton District Regroup Under Brigade (27) and Launch Joint Military Columns<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Pa Ka Pha news release, People\u2019s Defense Forces (Pa Ka Pha) operating within the area of KNU Brigade (1) in Thaton District, Mon State, have been consolidated under Brigade (27) and have begun operations as&nbsp;<strong>Joint Military Columns (1) and (2)<\/strong>&nbsp;under the brigade\u2019s coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Joint Military Column (1)<\/strong>, formed jointly with the Pa Ka Pha attack unit from&nbsp;<strong>Kyaikhto Township<\/strong>, will operate in the territory of&nbsp;<strong>KNU Brigade (1), Battalion (3)<\/strong>. It was officially established on&nbsp;<strong>September 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile,&nbsp;<strong>Joint Military Column (2)<\/strong>, led by Pa Ka Pha combat units from&nbsp;<strong>Thaton District<\/strong>, will operate within the area of&nbsp;<strong>KNU Battalion (2), Company (3)<\/strong>. This column began its assigned duties on&nbsp;<strong>October 14<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both&nbsp;<strong>Joint Military Columns (1) and (2)<\/strong>&nbsp;are tasked with conducting special missions\u2014patrols, assaults, and other military operations\u2014in collaboration with&nbsp;<strong>PDF battalions and allied EAOs<\/strong>&nbsp;in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Junta\u2019s Attack Drone Crashes in Letpadan; Revolutionary Forces Seize the Wreckage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An attack drone belonging to the junta\u2019s forces crashed near&nbsp;<strong>Tharyar Chaung Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Letpadan Township, Bago Region<\/strong>, while attempting to bomb the area. The&nbsp;<strong>Tharyarwady Gland Force<\/strong>&nbsp;successfully recovered the drone wreckage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The drone malfunctioned and crashed at around&nbsp;<strong>10:30 a.m. on October 19<\/strong>, reportedly west of Tharyar Chaung Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The drone is estimated to be worth approximately&nbsp;<strong>1.2 million kyats<\/strong>, and it is currently being securely stored in a safe location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, on&nbsp;<strong>October 15<\/strong>, clashes erupted when junta troops launched a raid intending to burn down Tharyar Chaung Village. During that confrontation,&nbsp;<strong>fewer than 15 junta soldiers were killed<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>12 were captured alive<\/strong>&nbsp;by revolutionary defense forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Pyu Saw Htee Militias Gather in Myauk Khin Yone Village as Junta Regains Control of Mhan Taw Village, Kale Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports from&nbsp;<strong>Yaw A Lin Tan News<\/strong>, on&nbsp;<strong>October 19 around 2:30 p.m.<\/strong>, Pyu Saw Htee militia members from&nbsp;<strong>Let Kyi Villages (East and West)<\/strong>&nbsp;in the southern part of&nbsp;<strong>Kale Township, Sagaing Region<\/strong>, crossed over the river and gathered at&nbsp;<strong>Myauk Khin Yone Village<\/strong>, located north of&nbsp;<strong>Pyu Saw Htee Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>northern Gangaw Township, Magway Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was reported that the Pyu Saw Htee groups from&nbsp;<strong>Myauk Khin Yone<\/strong>&nbsp;and the two&nbsp;<strong>Let Kyi Villages<\/strong>&nbsp;are combining forces to reinforce junta troops currently advancing toward Kale Township, while also preparing to launch offensives toward nearby villages south of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, on the night of&nbsp;<strong>October 18<\/strong>, junta forces&nbsp;<strong>recaptured Mhan Taw Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in southern Kale Township, which had previously been under the control of local People\u2019s Defense Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta\u2019s advancing column reportedly comprises&nbsp;<strong>over 200 troops<\/strong>, including Pyu Saw Htee militias from&nbsp;<strong>Hanthawaddy Village, Gangaw Township<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Kyansar Village, Kale Township<\/strong>. The force advanced from&nbsp;<strong>Aung Thaya Village<\/strong>&nbsp;toward&nbsp;<strong>Mhan Taw Village<\/strong>&nbsp;on the evening of&nbsp;<strong>October 18<\/strong>, regaining control of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, junta forces have launched an offensive toward the&nbsp;<strong>Kampani Ni junta base<\/strong>&nbsp;area in southern Kale Township, which had previously been seized by revolutionary groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Communication lines in these areas have been completely cut off, and local civilians are being&nbsp;<strong>warned to take caution and stay alert<\/strong>&nbsp;for their safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Junta Troops Raid Wetlet Township, Arresting Around 10 Civilians; Conduct Airstrikes Using Three Helicopters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta\u2019s forces have launched an assault on&nbsp;<strong>Kyaung Kone Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region<\/strong>, arresting around&nbsp;<strong>10 civilians<\/strong>, according to the local&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defense Team (Pa Ka Pha)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>7:00 a.m. on October 19<\/strong>, approximately&nbsp;<strong>50 junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militias<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Thaleba Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Ayadaw Township<\/strong>&nbsp;crossed the&nbsp;<strong>Mu River<\/strong>&nbsp;and opened fire with small arms as they advanced into&nbsp;<strong>Kyaung Kone Village<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was reported that among the arrested are&nbsp;<strong>two women (confirmed)<\/strong>&nbsp;and around&nbsp;<strong>eight other civilians (unconfirmed)<\/strong>, who are being&nbsp;<strong>held as human shields<\/strong>. The troops also looted property belonging to local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, around&nbsp;<strong>3:00 p.m.<\/strong>, junta forces launched&nbsp;<strong>two aerial bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;using&nbsp;<strong>three helicopters<\/strong>&nbsp;targeting an area on the&nbsp;<strong>western side of Wetlet Township<\/strong>, according to the&nbsp;<strong>Wetlet Informational Network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Pa Ka Pha in Wetlet, this marks the&nbsp;<strong>third junta assault<\/strong>&nbsp;on Kyaung Kone Village. During a previous raid, the junta\u2019s troops&nbsp;<strong>brutally killed four civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of early&nbsp;<strong>October 5<\/strong>, revolutionary forces have temporarily restricted access on&nbsp;<strong>all roads in the eastern part of Wetlet Township<\/strong>&nbsp;due to heightened military operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Junta Airstrikes Hit Namhsan, Mantong, and Mongngaw Townships; Two Civilians Injured<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>PSLF\/TNLA<\/strong>&nbsp;(Palaung State Liberation Front \/ Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army) reported that junta air forces conducted&nbsp;<strong>airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Namhsan, Mantong, and Mongngaw Townships<\/strong>&nbsp;in northern Shan State\u2014territories under TNLA administration\u2014injuring&nbsp;<strong>two civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>12:30 p.m. on October 19<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>fighter jet<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped a&nbsp;<strong>250-pound bomb<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Nammaw Ward, Namhsan Town<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The explosion injured&nbsp;<strong>Ko Aung Aung (age 28)<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>U Chit San Maung (age 24)<\/strong>.
