The workshop aims to share knowledge on cryptocurrency technology and financial literacy. Campaign Held in Karenni Region to Condemn the Junta\u2019s Sham Election<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A public campaign opposing and condemning the sham election organized by the junta\u2019s election commission was successfully conducted in the Karenni region, according to the Kayaw Youth Organization (KwYO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign, jointly organized in October by KwYO, the Karenni State Consultative Council (KSCC), the Union of Karenni State Youth (UKSY), and the Department of Youth Affairs, was attended by around 80 representatives from local administrative bodies, refugee committees, and youth groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the campaign, participants discussed the circumstances surrounding the junta\u2019s planned sham election, shared insights on political situations at both the Union and State levels, distributed anti-election pamphlets, and reviewed upcoming youth affairs initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was emphasized that the terrorist military group, being an illegitimate entity that seized power unlawfully, holds&nbsp;<strong>no legal authority to conduct elections<\/strong>. Their actions have caused the deaths of thousands of civilians and displaced over two million people, forcing many into homelessness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The public was urged&nbsp;<strong>not to participate in the junta\u2019s political deception under the 2008 Constitution<\/strong>&nbsp;but instead to resist and counter it through all available means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>4. Short Video Contest to Oppose the Junta\u2019s Election Announced<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Karenni\u2019s Arts Creation group, in collaboration with the IEC Department of Youth Affairs, has announced a&nbsp;<strong>short video competition<\/strong>&nbsp;under the theme&nbsp;<strong>\u201cSay No to Vote Dictatorship\u201d<\/strong>, with each video lasting between two to three minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition aims to publicly express the people\u2019s rejection of the junta\u2019s planned election and to showcase the collective will of the public through the creativity of youth. It also seeks to enhance political awareness, develop youth capacities and participation, and promote technological engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students, youths, and people of all ages, regions, and backgrounds are invited to participate. Contestants must first complete a Google Form beginning October 19 to register for participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After video completion, submissions must be uploaded via the designated Google Form.<br>According to the evaluation criteria,&nbsp;<strong>60% of the score will be based on the judges\u2019 assessment<\/strong>\u2014focusing on the video\u2019s relevance to the theme, creativity, and effectiveness in delivering its message\u2014while&nbsp;<strong>40% will be determined by public support (Popularity)<\/strong>&nbsp;measured through likes and shares on the&nbsp;<strong>Karenni\u2019s Arts Creation Page<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for video submission is&nbsp;<strong>November 17, 2025 (Monday)<\/strong>.
