According to reports, during the regular coordination meeting (41\/2025) of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), held via video conference on October 17, 2025<\/strong>, presentations were made regarding the activities and future work plans of the Central Committee for Interim Local Administration (CCILA)<\/strong> under the National Unity Government (NUG).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was opened with introductory remarks by U Aung Kyi Nyunt<\/strong>, Chairperson of the CRPH. Following that, U Lwin Ko Latt<\/strong>, Deputy Chairperson of the Central Committee for Interim Local Administration and Union Minister, briefed the meeting on the current situation of administrative operations<\/strong>, townships under emergency administration<\/strong>, issuance of orders and directives<\/strong>, review of Pa-Ah-Pha (NUG) reports<\/strong>, collection of monthly reports from district and township levels<\/strong>, assessment of township performance<\/strong>, and implementation of plans against illegal elections.<\/strong>
He also explained about the formation and operation of township judicial committees<\/strong>, enforcement actions taken<\/strong>, and future operational strategies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, responsible officials from the townships under emergency administration<\/strong> provided further explanations. Committee members present raised questions and shared suggestions, to which Union Minister U Lwin Ko Latt<\/strong> responded and clarified accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, individual parliamentary committees<\/strong> also presented and discussed their respective activities \u2014 including the Legislation Committee<\/strong>, International Relations Committee<\/strong>, Public Affairs Committee<\/strong>, and Labour Affairs Committee<\/strong> \u2014 before the session was adjourned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was reported that the meeting was attended by the Chairperson, Secretary, and members of the CRPH<\/strong>, members of the respective parliamentary committees<\/strong>, and officials from the Central Committee for Interim Local Administration.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ministry of Defence (MOD)<\/strong> under the National Unity Government (NUG)<\/strong> announced that it will begin issuing a new version of Certificates of Recognition<\/strong>, complete with QR Codes<\/strong>, to donors who have contributed to the revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from October 17<\/strong>, these newly designed certificates will allow donors to scan and verify<\/strong> their recognition records themselves through a QR Code<\/strong> printed on the certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By scanning the QR Code on their certificate, donors will be redirected to the official verification website verify.modnug.org<\/strong>, where they can confirm details such as the donor\u2019s name<\/strong>, organization name<\/strong>, amount of donation<\/strong>, certificate number<\/strong>, and date of issue<\/strong> \u2014 if the certificate was genuinely issued by the Ministry of Defence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the QR Code or certificate is found to be forged<\/strong> or falsified<\/strong>, the system will indicate that no official record exists.<\/strong>
According to the ministry, this four-step verification system<\/strong> enables donors to independently confirm the authenticity<\/strong> of their certificates and distinguish genuine records from counterfeits.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been reported that the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament<\/strong> and the Selection Commission of the Interim Sagaing Federal Unit Government<\/strong> held a discussion meeting via video conference<\/strong> on October 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was opened with welcoming remarks by U Myint Htway<\/strong>, Speaker of the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament.
A representative from the Parliament then explained the coordination and collaboration with other allied forces<\/strong>, the formation process of the Interim Sagaing Federal Unit Government<\/strong>, and related matters concerning the structure and forthcoming plans of the government.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterward, responsible officials in attendance offered comments and recommendations<\/strong>, followed by responses and clarifications<\/strong> from the representatives of the Parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, both sides engaged in mutual discussions<\/strong> on upcoming work processes and plans. The meeting was successfully concluded at 12:00 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Yangon Federal Unit Parliament<\/strong> has officially announced that the Commission for Drafting the Interim Framework (Draft)<\/strong> has completed its assigned duties, as the drafting process has been successfully finalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the statement, during the 8th Parliamentary Meeting held on July 25, 2025 (Day 2)<\/strong>, the Yangon Parliament established and assigned the Commission for Drafting the Interim Framework (Draft).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Commission successfully completed the drafting of the Interim Framework (Draft)<\/strong> earlier than the designated timeline and submitted the draft to the Parliament on October 14, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recognition of the Commission\u2019s efforts, the Parliament recorded its deep appreciation<\/strong> for the dedication and intellectual contribution of all Commission members, as well as for the collaboration of organizations, groups, and scholars<\/strong> who assisted in the drafting process of the Interim Framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the draft of the Interim Framework<\/strong> has been submitted to the Parliament in accordance with the law, the Commission\u2019s duties have been officially completed<\/strong>. Therefore, starting from October 18, 2025<\/strong>, the Commission for Drafting the Interim Framework (Draft)<\/strong> under the Yangon Federal Unit<\/strong> is formally dissolved.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Ministry of Human Rights<\/strong>, participants of the Women and Child Protection (WCP)<\/strong> training held in Tilin Township, Magway Region<\/strong>, during September and October<\/strong>, remarked that the training had provided valuable knowledge both for local residents<\/strong> and revolutionary fighters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One trainee stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThrough this course, I learned more about the provisions in the Convention on the Rights of the Child<\/strong>, which ensures the protection and rights of all children \u2014 including those born during the conflict. I now have a clearer understanding of the importance of protecting children from being recruited or used in armed conflict.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, a member of the People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF)<\/strong> who attended the training said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs a fighter myself, this training helped me understand more deeply the rights of women and children and the forms of violence they face. From now on, our battalion will strive to adhere more strictly to the Code of Conduct (COC)<\/strong> and prevent all forms of violence and abuse<\/strong> against women and children.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
