Four Women Injured in Junta Airstrike on Namhkam Town<\/strong><br><strong>October 17<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>PSLF\/TNLA News and Information Department<\/strong>&nbsp;has reported that a junta airstrike on&nbsp;<strong>Namhkam town<\/strong>\u2014located within the 8th Brigade area of the Ta\u2019ang region in northern Shan State\u2014has left&nbsp;<strong>four women injured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, at around&nbsp;<strong>8:30 a.m. today<\/strong>, the junta\u2019s air force&nbsp;<strong>deliberately dropped two 250-pound bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;on a civilian-populated area near&nbsp;<strong>Basic Education High School No. 1 in Namhkam<\/strong>, intentionally targeting non-military zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The explosion caused injuries to four women, damaged&nbsp;<strong>two school buildings<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>destroyed several civilian homes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement added that the junta also carried out&nbsp;<strong>another aerial bombardment this morning<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Homine Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Nansan Township<\/strong>, and that details of casualties are still being investigated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Between&nbsp;<strong>October 1 and 16<\/strong>, the junta conducted&nbsp;<strong>25 airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;in northern Shan State, targeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mantong<\/strong>\u00a0(1 time)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kyaukme<\/strong>\u00a0(3 times)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hsipaw<\/strong>\u00a0(5 times)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mongngawt<\/strong>\u00a0(1 time)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monglon<\/strong>\u00a0(4 times)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nansan<\/strong>\u00a0(3 times)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Namhkam<\/strong>\u00a0(4 times)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Momauk<\/strong>\u00a0(3 times in Kachin State)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and\u00a0<strong>Mogok<\/strong>\u00a0(once in Mandalay Region).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>According to PSLF\/TNLA records, these bombings have resulted in&nbsp;<strong>29 civilian deaths<\/strong>\u2014including&nbsp;<strong>7 children, 10 men, and 12 women<\/strong>\u2014and&nbsp;<strong>36 injuries<\/strong>\u2014including&nbsp;<strong>11 children, 14 men, and 11 women<\/strong>. In addition,&nbsp;<strong>108 houses<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>3 schools<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>2 monasteries<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>4 dormitories<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>4 other buildings<\/strong>&nbsp;were damaged or destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>TNLA and allied Revolutionary Forces<\/strong>&nbsp;have urged civilians to&nbsp;<strong>exercise heightened caution<\/strong>, avoid military routes, and&nbsp;<strong>implement air-raid protection measures<\/strong>&nbsp;to safeguard themselves from further junta air attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Resistance Forces Attack Junta Columns in Yephyu and Launglon Townships; Junta Casualties Reported<\/strong><br><strong>October 17<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Dawei District People\u2019s Defense Force (DDPDF)<\/strong>&nbsp;announced that junta troops have likely suffered&nbsp;<strong>casualties<\/strong>&nbsp;after their columns were attacked by resistance forces in&nbsp;<strong>Yephyu<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Launglon Townships<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to today\u2019s report, the attacks were conducted as part of ongoing&nbsp;<strong>anti-junta operations<\/strong>&nbsp;throughout Dawei District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>DDPDF<\/strong>, in coordination with allied forces, launched a series of attacks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>October 1<\/strong>, they struck a junta column near\u00a0<strong>Mu Du Village<\/strong>, in the\u00a0<strong>Nabu Lai area of Yephyu Township<\/strong>, using improvised explosive devices (IEDs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>October 8<\/strong>, another junta column was attacked near\u00a0<strong>Pan Seik Village in Launglon Township<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resistance forces also carried out attacks on junta garrison units stationed near\u00a0<strong>Yadawmu Pagoda in Yephyu<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Kyat Chat Pin Village<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, on&nbsp;<strong>October 10<\/strong>, an air-dropped bomb was used to attack a junta convoy near&nbsp;<strong>Nyaung Pin Seik Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in Launglon Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement confirmed that&nbsp;<strong>the junta forces sustained deaths and injuries<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>no casualties occurred among the allied resistance troops<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The joint resistance operation was conducted by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dawei District People\u2019s Defense Force (DDPDF)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tanintharyi People\u2019s Liberation Force (TPLF)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Student Revolutionary Force (SRF)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ba Htoo Army (BHA)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Launglon Thanmani Firefly Force (L.L.S.B.F)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and\u00a0<strong>Daungnet Column-6 and Wehing Force<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3.
