October 16 \u2014 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to reports, a meeting between the National Unity Government (NUG)<\/strong> and the Members of Parliament representing the Sagaing Federal Unit<\/strong> was held on October 16, 2025, at 15:00 hours<\/strong>, via video conferencing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attending the meeting on behalf of the NUG were Acting President Duwa Lashi La<\/strong>, Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann<\/strong>, Union Minister U Lwin Ko Latt<\/strong> (Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration), Union Minister Dr. Lian Mung Sar Khine<\/strong> (Ministry of Federal Affairs), Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing<\/strong> (Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment), Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye<\/strong> (Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management), along with other officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Sagaing Federal Unit, Speaker U Myint Htway<\/strong>, Deputy Speaker<\/strong>, and other Members of Parliament<\/strong> were also in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting focused on discussions and mutual consultations regarding the formation of the interim government of the Sagaing Federal Unit<\/strong> under the Interim Federal Constitution<\/strong>, and the implementation of future collaborative processes<\/strong>. It was reported that the participants reached a consensus on the joint actions to be carried out in the next stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 37th Meeting (37\/2025)<\/strong> of the Central Committee for Interim Local Public Administration Implementation<\/strong> under the National Unity Government<\/strong> was held on the morning of October 16, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann<\/strong>, who serves as the Chairman of the Central Committee<\/strong>, delivered the opening remarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn terms of governance, everyone is aware that we are currently managing two key areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first concerns administrative operations in areas under the full control of the NUG, while ensuring that in areas not yet fully under our control, no administrative vacuum exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondly, we are also doing our utmost to provide services to the people who are suffering from various hardships inflicted by the military council\u2019s brutal tactics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nowadays, ministers, deputy ministers, and local administrative officials are personally traveling to the townships to conduct on-site inspections and meet with people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the first step is to be able to see and accept the realities as they are<\/strong>, and only then can we proceed to the second step<\/strong> \u2014 to reflect on how best to overcome those realities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, members of the Central Committee discussed updates on the progress of decisions made during the previous 36th meeting (36\/2025)<\/strong>, reviewed implementation outcomes, and addressed remaining issues requiring follow-up actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was led by Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann<\/strong>, and attended by Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Associate Secretaries<\/strong>, and departmental officials. It concluded at 12:30 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc 3. Mon State Federal Council\u2019s Health Department provided medical services to 1,872 patients within three months<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

October 16 \u2014 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Health Department of the Mon State Federal Council<\/strong>, a total of 1,872 patients<\/strong> received primary and emergency medical services<\/strong> between July and September 2025<\/strong> at the Northern Hospital<\/strong> and Southern Clinic<\/strong> in Mon State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These hospitals and clinics provided services such as emergency care<\/strong>, maternal and child healthcare<\/strong>, treatment for communicable and non-communicable diseases<\/strong>, as well as cases related to musculoskeletal and connective tissue disorders<\/strong>, infectious diseases<\/strong> (viral, bacterial, and vector-borne), gastrointestinal diseases<\/strong>, and skin and communicable conditions<\/strong>, which were among the most common ailments recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, nine patients<\/strong> requiring referral to higher-level hospitals were transferred after receiving necessary emergency care<\/strong> beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both medical facilities operate daily<\/strong>, providing 24-hour emergency services<\/strong>, though they continue to face shortages of medicine, medical supplies, and human resources<\/strong>, according to the department\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
