The Chinland Defense Force\u2013Hakha (CDF-Hakha) has strongly condemned the brutal airstrike carried out by the terrorist military council on a village school in Vanhar Village<\/strong>, Hakha Township<\/strong>, Chin State, on October 13, 2025<\/strong>, at around 10 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the CDF-Hakha statement released on October 14, the attack killed an 8-year-old boy<\/strong> and a 12-year-old girl<\/strong>, while 21 others were injured<\/strong>, including two critically wounded<\/strong>. The group expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the bereaved families and the people of Vanhar Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CDF-Hakha clarified that Vanhar Village is not a CDF base<\/strong>, but a civilian area with a school for children<\/strong>. The deliberate targeting of civilians by the military council constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law<\/strong>, basic human rights<\/strong>, and laws of armed conflict<\/strong>, amounting to a war crime<\/strong>, the statement emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the CDF-Hakha pointed out that the junta\u2019s ongoing aerial bombings on civilian areas<\/strong> across Chin State\u2014particularly during the lead-up to its illegal election<\/strong>\u2014serve as undeniable evidence of that election\u2019s illegitimacy. The group urged the public to completely boycott<\/strong> the junta\u2019s sham election and warned that those who choose to participate will face consequences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CDF-Hakha called on the international community and domestic organizations to exert pressure<\/strong> on the junta to immediately cease attacks<\/strong> on civilians, schools, hospitals, and religious buildings, and to hold accountable<\/strong> all those who planned, permitted, or carried out such crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement reaffirmed that CDF-Hakha will continue to stand with the people<\/strong> and fight until the power is restored to the citizens<\/strong> and the military dictatorship is fully abolished<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 13, at around 10 a.m.<\/strong>, more than 100 junta troops<\/strong> from Infantry Battalion 302<\/strong> who were moving with ammunition supplies were ambushed and attacked<\/strong> near Maung May Shaung Village<\/strong>, Dawei Township<\/strong>, according to a statement from the DURRAK Column<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report confirmed that five junta soldiers were killed<\/strong>, while the resistance fighters (brothers-in-arms)<\/strong> successfully withdrew without any casualties<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As military activity in Tanintharyi Region<\/strong> intensifies, civilians have been urged to exercise extreme caution<\/strong> when moving around and to stay alert for possible airstrikes<\/strong>, which could occur at any time. The public was also advised to follow air-raid safety information and alerts<\/strong> issued by relevant defense organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the revolution and military operations escalate, the statement also encouraged junta soldiers and police officers<\/strong> who wish to stand on the side of truth and the people<\/strong> to defect and join the public<\/strong> as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intense clashes have been ongoing in Hpakant Township<\/strong>, Kachin State<\/strong>, between the Kachin Independence Army (KIA)<\/strong> and junta forces. According to KIA military sources, over 30 junta troops<\/strong> from the military commission\u2019s side<\/strong> were killed, and a deputy battalion commander<\/strong> was wounded during the fighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to these losses, the junta conducted airstrikes<\/strong>, deploying jet fighters to bomb KIA positions. During the battle, the resistance forces managed to capture a sniper from Battalion 384<\/strong>, according to field reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, in Bhamo Township<\/strong>, fierce clashes on October 13<\/strong> left a junta major severely wounded<\/strong>, with reports indicating that he is unlikely to survive<\/strong>. Civilian casualties and injuries have also continued to occur amid the ongoing conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 12<\/strong>, at around 9 a.m.<\/strong>, a Pyu Saw Htee supporter<\/strong> named U Pway<\/strong> was captured near Tat Kone Pyu Saw Htee Village<\/strong> while security teams were patrolling<\/strong> the area, according to the Paauk Southern Naga Pyauk Kyarr Force (Pa Ka Pha)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resistance forces also seized a knife<\/strong> from the detainee. U Pway reportedly admitted<\/strong> to being a junta supporter and claimed that he was searching for food<\/strong> rather than engaging in military activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is currently under investigation and interrogation<\/strong>, and if found guilty of wrongdoing, he will be handed over to the Paauk Township People\u2019s Administration Team<\/strong> and the People\u2019s Security Team<\/strong> for appropriate legal action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to reports, Pa Ka Pha has captured a total of seven Pyu Saw Htee affiliates<\/strong>, including U Pway, as part of their ongoing operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the KNU\u2013Myeik-Dawei District, on October 14, 2025<\/strong>, around 12:00 noon<\/strong>, the terrorist military junta carried out another airstrike using jet fighters<\/strong> on Mae Thamee Khee (Htee Khee) Village<\/strong> in the Thay Mo Pwa area<\/strong> under Myeik-Dawei District<\/strong>, controlled by the Karen National Union (KNU)<\/strong>. As a result, a civilian building was destroyed by fire<\/strong>, and several local residents sustained injuries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report added that the terrorist junta, in an effort to maintain its unlawful grip on power<\/strong>, is forcibly organizing a sham election<\/strong> in areas under its control. Meanwhile, in territories it has lost to resistance forces<\/strong>, such as the KNU-controlled Myeik-Dawei District<\/strong>, it has been conducting aerial bombings<\/strong> with the deliberate intent to terrorize local civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to local sources, in Baw Ran Village<\/strong>, located in Pekhon Township<\/strong> on the border between Shan State and Karenni (Kayah) State<\/strong>, junta troops and the PNO (Pa-O National Organization)<\/strong> jointly set fire to the entire village<\/strong>, resulting in houses burning for two consecutive days<\/strong> and near-total destruction<\/strong> of the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arson attacks, which began on the afternoon of October 13<\/strong>, continued until October 14<\/strong>. Although the exact number of houses destroyed<\/strong> is still unknown, it has been confirmed that all villagers have fled to safety<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the latter part of October<\/strong>, junta troops and the PNO have reportedly been seizing and burning down villages<\/strong>, including Ho Wo, Saung Lan, and Loke Kyine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around 8:00 p.m. on October 13<\/strong>, on Monywa River Road<\/strong>, junta troops operating under the Military Council<\/strong> used five civilian vehicles<\/strong> to chase down and arrest<\/strong> youths returning from the \u201cSutawng Pyae Pagoda Festival\u201d stage show<\/strong>, according to reports from Monywa Roads Information<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately 32 young people<\/strong> were reportedly arrested and taken away<\/strong>. Since then, Monywa City<\/strong> has become eerily quiet, with almost no public movement except during office hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
