According to the Myo Thit People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF), a military unit of 16 junta soldiers conducting a clearance operation was ambushed by landmines near Yadanar Myay Village in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Territory, at around 3:30 p.m. on September 15, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One soldier was killed instantly, and three others died while being transported, bringing the total death toll to four<\/strong>, with four more injured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack was carried out by the Myo Thit PDF<\/strong>, which operates under Magway District, Magway Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group stated that, for security reasons, the report was released at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Ye Phyu Township<\/strong> and Dawei City<\/strong>, Tanintharyi Region, military targets including the Ye Phyu Town Police Station<\/strong>, ministerial residences<\/strong>, and Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 104<\/strong> were attacked using Fixed-Wing Drones<\/strong>, according to a statement from the Duraka Drone Force<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 5<\/strong> around 12:00 p.m.<\/strong>, the Ye Phyu police station was attacked, followed by another strike at 4:30 p.m.<\/strong> on junta forces stationed at the ministerial residence in Dawei City. Subsequently, on October 8 at 7:00 p.m.<\/strong>, the LIB-104 base was attacked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operations were jointly conducted by the Duraka Drone Team<\/strong> of the Democratic National Liberation Army (DNLA)<\/strong> and the DEF Drone Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Civilians were advised to exercise caution and remain alert, as military tensions remain high, and to follow all security and air defense warnings issued for their safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Meiktila City<\/strong>, Mandalay Region, a police vehicle on patrol was attacked with hand grenades, reportedly killing two police officers<\/strong> and injuring several others, according to the SATAN UG Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack occurred at around 1:00 a.m. on October 12<\/strong>, near the University of Education, as a police truck was returning from its night patrol along the western side of the city. The injured were taken to Meiktila Hospital<\/strong> for treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SATAN UG Group stated that the police vehicle had been under surveillance for four days<\/strong> before the operation, and the group successfully withdrew from the area without sustaining any casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Shan State Progress Party\/Shan State Army (SSPP\/SSA)<\/strong> reported that the junta\u2019s air force carried out a bombing raid near its base in Lway Yin Mountain<\/strong>, close to Taw San Village<\/strong> in Kyaukme Township<\/strong>, Northern Shan State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 11 at 1:27 p.m.<\/strong>, a fighter jet<\/strong> dropped a 250-pound bomb<\/strong> near the SSPP\/SSA base, approximately 90 meters<\/strong> away from the camp, slightly damaging parts of its perimeter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 1:30 p.m.<\/strong>, another 250-pound bomb<\/strong> was dropped near the monastery compound of Taw San Village<\/strong>, damaging a monastic dormitory<\/strong>, a kitchen facility<\/strong>, and a nearby civilian house<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to local reports, a junta airstrike on Matupi Town<\/strong>, Chin State, at around 8:00 p.m. on October 10<\/strong>, killed one civilian<\/strong> and injured at least ten others<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The regime\u2019s aircraft dropped two 500-pound bombs<\/strong> targeting the area around the Fire Department Office<\/strong> and the football field<\/strong> in Laung Van Ward<\/strong>, Matupi Town. The air raid occurred during heavy rainfall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the bombs hit a Christian church<\/strong> belonging to Jesus Fellowship<\/strong>, causing severe damage. Several nearby residential houses were also struck by bomb shrapnel, sustaining partial destruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PSLF\/TNLA (Palaung State Liberation Front\/Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army)<\/strong> reported that on October 12 at 5:08 p.m.<\/strong>, a junta fighter jet<\/strong> dropped a 250-pound bomb<\/strong> near Lyi Kyi Village<\/strong> in Mine Lone Township<\/strong>, Military Region No. (1)<\/strong>, Ta\u2019ang Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly after, at 5:11 p.m.<\/strong>, the regime dropped two more 250-pound bombs<\/strong> targeting Pa See Village<\/strong>, which exploded within the residential area, destroying four civilian homes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PSLF\/TNLA condemned the junta\u2019s ongoing indiscriminate airstrikes, which continue to endanger civilian populations and destroy property in Ta\u2019ang areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Karenni National Peace and Development Party (KNPDP) Battalion (3)<\/strong> announced that one of its soldiers was killed in action at a frontline position near Demoso Town<\/strong>, Karenni State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the statement, on October 9<\/strong>, Comrade Jerone (aka Markho Dumickel)<\/strong> was killed while engaging junta forces of the Terrorist Military Commission<\/strong> during an intense battle on the frontline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The battalion expressed deep sorrow over his loss and stated that Comrade Jerone<\/strong> will be officially honored and recorded as a martyr hero of the revolution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, heavy fighting<\/strong> continues across the Shan\u2013Karenni border areas<\/strong>, including Phe Khon<\/strong> and Maw Chi<\/strong>, as well as along the Demoso\u2013Pruso\u2013Bawlakhe highway<\/strong>, where junta forces are conducting offensives and facing strong resistance from revolutionary forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to separate announcements, the Yangon Region People\u2019s Defense Force (Battalion 1)<\/strong> and the Shwebo Township Pa Ka Pha (People\u2019s Defense Force)<\/strong> have equipped their frontline fighters with bulletproof vests, helmets, and uniforms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using funds raised through the \u201cWear the Armor of Yangon\u201d Campaign<\/strong>, the Yangon Region PDF Battalion (1) supplied 50 full sets<\/strong> of VESTs, bulletproof armor, and helmets<\/strong> to frontline combatants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign, launched to enhance the personal safety and confidence<\/strong> of resistance fighters, reportedly exceeded its initial fundraising target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, on October 12<\/strong>, the Shwebo Township Pa Ka Pha<\/strong> announced that it had provided 22 frontline fighters<\/strong> with uniforms, combat boots, helmets, belts, badges, and two MA-1 rifles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
