Attack on Prison Compound and Police Station in Monywa Township \u2014 Three Police Officers Killed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 10<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, the&nbsp;<strong>Bamar Army<\/strong>&nbsp;announced that its allied resistance forces launched a coordinated assault on the&nbsp;<strong>prison compound and police station<\/strong>&nbsp;located west of Tharsi Village, under the control of the&nbsp;<strong>Military Council<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report, on&nbsp;<strong>October 6 around 5:00 p.m.<\/strong>, the resistance fighters attacked nearby military bunkers using&nbsp;<strong>60mm mortars<\/strong>, followed by a&nbsp;<strong>45-minute exchange of fire<\/strong>&nbsp;with small arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the battle,&nbsp;<strong>three police officers were killed<\/strong>, and several&nbsp;<strong>buildings and equipment within the prison compound were damaged<\/strong>, according to information received from&nbsp;<em>Phayar Thi News<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack was jointly carried out by multiple resistance forces under the coordination of&nbsp;<strong>Bamar Army\u2019s No. 2 Regional Command<\/strong>, including the&nbsp;<strong>505th Battalion<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>ERO Brother Monywa Defence Force (HBMY PDF)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Moe Hein Defence Force<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Phoenix Northern Plains Revolutionary Force (Local)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Truth Army<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>Golden Triangle Allied Battalion<\/strong>. Three Junta Soldiers Killed in Ambush on Monywa\u2013Mandalay Road<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 10<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Chaung-U Town<\/strong>, Monywa District, Sagaing Region, the&nbsp;<strong>Pa Ka Pha (People\u2019s Defence Force)<\/strong>&nbsp;announced that resistance forces ambushed four junta soldiers who had been deployed to provide security for a military convoy traveling along the&nbsp;<strong>Monywa\u2013Mandalay highway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ambush took place on&nbsp;<strong>October 10, at around 7:10 a.m.<\/strong>, jointly conducted by&nbsp;<strong>Chaung-U PDF (CHU PDF)<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Special Force 11 (LPDF)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the attack, the resistance forces&nbsp;<strong>killed three junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;and seized the following items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Four motorcycles<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Three BA-63 rifles<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>494 rounds of 9mm ammunition<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>652 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Three helmets<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ten BA-63 magazines<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Three BA-94 magazines<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>One hand grenade<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Four mobile phones<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All resistance fighters reportedly&nbsp;<strong>retreated safely<\/strong>&nbsp;after the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Attack on Junta Troops Extorting Travelers in Ngazun Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 10<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Ngazun Township<\/strong>, Mandalay Region, the&nbsp;<strong>Special Task Force Ngazun<\/strong>&nbsp;reported that its members raided and attacked junta troops who were&nbsp;<strong>extorting money from travelers<\/strong>&nbsp;near the&nbsp;<strong>northeast corner of Myotha Market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operation took place on&nbsp;<strong>October 8 at around 4:00 p.m.<\/strong>, during which the task force carried out a swift assault and successfully&nbsp;<strong>withdrew without any casualties<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack resulted in&nbsp;<strong>two junta soldiers killed<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>two others seriously wounded<\/strong>, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Five Children Killed in Airstrike by Junta Forces in Bilin Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 10<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Bilin Township<\/strong>, Mon State, a devastating&nbsp;<strong>airstrike by junta forces<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Pyin Ma Pin Seik Village<\/strong>&nbsp;resulted in the deaths of&nbsp;<strong>five children<\/strong>, according to local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>8:00 p.m. on October 9<\/strong>, junta forces launched&nbsp;<strong>two aerial bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;from a fighter jet, which exploded within the village area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victims were identified as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saw Thun Thun Min (6 years old)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Saw Lin Htet Thar (7 years old)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Naw Maglar Phaw (9 years old)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Naw San Myint (10 years old)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Naw Than Than (12 years old)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All five children&nbsp;<strong>died instantly<\/strong>&nbsp;due to the explosions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally,&nbsp;<strong>over 12 other villagers, including children<\/strong>, sustained injuries of varying severity. Junta Jet Fighter Launches Another Airstrike Near Aung Myay Village in Mongmit Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 10<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>PSLF\/TNLA<\/strong>&nbsp;(Palaung State Liberation Front\/Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army) reported that at&nbsp;<strong>1:30 p.m. on October 10<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>junta\u2019s air force<\/strong>&nbsp;launched another&nbsp;<strong>airstrike using a jet fighter<\/strong>&nbsp;near&nbsp;<strong>Aung Myay Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Mongmit Township<\/strong>, under&nbsp;<strong>Ta\u2019ang Region, Military Region No. 8<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, there was&nbsp;<strong>no active ground battle<\/strong>&nbsp;at the time of the strike. The junta\u2019s aircraft dropped&nbsp;<strong>two 250-pound bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;and fired&nbsp;<strong>six rounds of heavy rockets<\/strong>&nbsp;into the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was also noted that on&nbsp;<strong>October 9<\/strong>, a similar&nbsp;<strong>airstrike on Wai Baung Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in Mongmit Township\u2014carried out with&nbsp;<strong>three 250-pound bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;from a jet fighter\u2014<strong>killed seven civilians<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>two children<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>injured eight others<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>destroyed ten civilian houses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6. Over 10 Civilians Injured as Junta Warplane Bombs Taku Village in Tanintharyi Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 10<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an official statement from the&nbsp;<strong>KNU Myeik\u2013Dawei District<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>junta aircraft<\/strong>&nbsp;carried out an&nbsp;<strong>airstrike<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Taku Village<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Tafor Village Tract<\/strong>, an area under the control of&nbsp;<strong>KNU Brigade 4<\/strong>, in&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack occurred at&nbsp;<strong>9:30 a.m. on October 10<\/strong>, when an&nbsp;<strong>FTC-2000G jet fighter<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped bombs and simultaneously&nbsp;<strong>fired automatic cannons<\/strong>&nbsp;at the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the assault,&nbsp;<strong>more than 10 civilians, including students, were injured<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>one building was destroyed<\/strong>, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local witnesses confirmed that&nbsp;<strong>no clashes were taking place<\/strong>&nbsp;at the time. The attack deliberately&nbsp;<strong>targeted civilians during school hours<\/strong>, when&nbsp;<strong>students and villagers were on their way to school or work<\/strong>, showing a clear&nbsp;<strong>act of terror against unarmed civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>7. A Total of 117 Junta Personnel Defected, Surrendered, or Were Captured as Deserters in September 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 10<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Goal Organization<\/strong>&nbsp;reported that during&nbsp;<strong>September 2025<\/strong>, a total of&nbsp;<strong>117 individuals<\/strong>\u2014including junta soldiers and People\u2019s Defense Force members\u2014<strong>defected to the resistance, surrendered, or were captured as deserters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among them,&nbsp;<strong>69 individuals defected and joined the resistance<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>48 were captured as deserters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the defectors,&nbsp;<strong>68 were junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>1 was a PDF member<\/strong>, originating from&nbsp;<strong>Sagaing Region, Shan State, Mandalay Region, Bago Region, Kayah State, and Tanintharyi Region<\/strong>.<br>It was further noted that&nbsp;<strong>41 out of the 68 junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;were&nbsp;<strong>newly conscripted troops<\/strong>&nbsp;under the&nbsp;<strong>military conscription law<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among those&nbsp;<strong>captured as deserters<\/strong>, there were&nbsp;<strong>39 junta soldiers<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>4 police officers<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>5 PDF members<\/strong>.
