Two civilians killed and two others injured in renewed airstrikes by the junta in Mong Ngaw<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the PSLF\/TNLA, the junta\u2019s forces carried out renewed aerial bombardments on Man Lone Ward in Mong Ngaw Town, a territory under the control of the PSLF\/TNLA in northern Shan State, resulting in the deaths of a man and a woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>11:05 a.m. on October 8<\/strong>, the junta dropped&nbsp;<strong>two 250-pound bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;near the Man Lone Ward police station, fired&nbsp;<strong>two rockets<\/strong>&nbsp;into the market area, and launched&nbsp;<strong>two more rockets<\/strong>&nbsp;toward Ta Lone Ward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attacks killed&nbsp;<strong>Daw Hla Yi (aged 50)<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>U Shwe Hoon (aged 56)<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>Ma Thway Thway Aung (18)<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>U Tin Maung Aye (50)<\/strong>&nbsp;sustained injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just a day earlier, at&nbsp;<strong>12:30 p.m. on October 7<\/strong>, the junta had already bombed&nbsp;<strong>Man Hoon Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in Mong Lon Township with&nbsp;<strong>two 250-pound bombs<\/strong>, killing&nbsp;<strong>ten civilians<\/strong>, including a child, and injuring&nbsp;<strong>three others<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Junta jet fighter bombs Mae Thamee Khee (Htee Khee) Village again in Tanintharyi Region<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Karen National Union (KNU), the junta\u2019s air force once again bombed&nbsp;<strong>Mae Thamee Khee Village<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Thay Mo Pwa, between Myeik and Dawei districts<\/strong>, within the area controlled by&nbsp;<strong>KNU Brigade 4<\/strong>&nbsp;in Tanintharyi Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>2:00 p.m. on October 8<\/strong>, a junta jet fighter carried out renewed bombing runs. As a result,&nbsp;<strong>over 350 local residents<\/strong>&nbsp;fled their homes to seek safety, while&nbsp;<strong>civilian-owned properties and possessions<\/strong>&nbsp;were damaged and destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier that morning, around&nbsp;<strong>9:00 a.m.<\/strong>, the junta had already conducted multiple air raids on the same village, using a&nbsp;<strong>Y-12 aircraft<\/strong>&nbsp;to drop&nbsp;<strong>over 40 bombs (120mm shells) in 10 passes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Junta troops burn homes in Sain Du Village, Gangaw; airstrikes reported in Yaw area<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>2:00 p.m. on October 8<\/strong>, a column of about&nbsp;<strong>100 troops from Light Infantry Battalion 50<\/strong>&nbsp;entered&nbsp;<strong>Sain Du Village<\/strong>, near&nbsp;<strong>Gangaw Town<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>set fire to three houses and one building<\/strong>&nbsp;within the construction department compound, according to the Yaw Alin Tan media outlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The troops also&nbsp;<strong>looted household items and belongings<\/strong>&nbsp;from the village before retreating toward Gangaw Town at approximately&nbsp;<strong>4:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later that evening, at&nbsp;<strong>6:56 p.m.<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>MIG-29 jet fighter<\/strong>&nbsp;from Naypyidaw Air Force carried out an&nbsp;<strong>airstrike<\/strong>&nbsp;on an area in the&nbsp;<strong>Kyauk Htu region of Saw Township<\/strong>, Yaw area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, around the&nbsp;<strong>Min Tat\u2013Kyauk Htu border<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>three jet fighters<\/strong>\u2014two from Taungoo Air Base and one from Naypyidaw\u2014conducted further&nbsp;<strong>airstrikes at 6:57, 6:59, and 7:01 p.m.<\/strong>, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. About 150 junta troops killed after a month of intense fighting at Lay Kay Kaw<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>Justice Soldier<\/strong>, approximately&nbsp;<strong>150 junta troops have been killed<\/strong>&nbsp;after a month of ongoing battles in&nbsp;<strong>Lay Kay Kaw New Town<\/strong>, Myawaddy Township, Karen State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta\u2019s forces\u2014equipped with advanced weaponry acquired by&nbsp;<strong>trading away the nation\u2019s valuable natural resources<\/strong>&nbsp;at exploitative rates and reinforced by&nbsp;<strong>conscripted civilians<\/strong>\u2014have been launching a full-scale offensive against the Lay Kay Kaw region for the past month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resistance forces including the&nbsp;<strong>KNU\/KNLA Brigade 32 (Cobra Column)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Tiger Black Column<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Venom Column<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Justice Soldier units<\/strong>, supported by&nbsp;<strong>drone teams<\/strong>, have been&nbsp;<strong>fiercely resisting<\/strong>&nbsp;the junta\u2019s attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the month-long battle,&nbsp;<strong>about 150 junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;were confirmed killed, while&nbsp;<strong>many others have defected or surrendered<\/strong>. KIA and allied revolutionary forces recapture junta and militia positions near Law Man Village, close to Waingmaw<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to frontline sources from the Kachin Independence Army (KIA), the&nbsp;<strong>KIA<\/strong>&nbsp;and its&nbsp;<strong>allied revolutionary forces<\/strong>&nbsp;successfully launched a counteroffensive and recaptured positions held by&nbsp;<strong>Myanmar junta troops<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>pro-junta militia forces<\/strong>&nbsp;near&nbsp;<strong>Law Man Village<\/strong>, close to&nbsp;<strong>Waingmaw Town<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Kachin State<\/strong>, on the morning of&nbsp;<strong>October 8<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports indicate that junta forces from&nbsp;<strong>Light Infantry Battalion 58<\/strong>, the only military garrison responsible for guarding Waingmaw Town, together with&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Militia units<\/strong>, had previously conducted an offensive operation along the road connecting&nbsp;<strong>Wu Yan Village<\/strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<strong>Law Man Village<\/strong>. They had fortified their positions last week with the support of&nbsp;<strong>airstrikes and heavy artillery fire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, between&nbsp;<strong>5:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on October 8<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>KIA and allied units<\/strong>&nbsp;launched a coordinated counterattack, successfully&nbsp;<strong>regaining control<\/strong>&nbsp;of those occupied areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>October 6<\/strong>, about&nbsp;<strong>100 junta troops and militia members<\/strong>&nbsp;had advanced toward&nbsp;<strong>Law Man Village<\/strong>, supported by&nbsp;<strong>air and artillery fire<\/strong>, leading to intense clashes that lasted from&nbsp;<strong>the evening of October 6 until 4:00 a.m. on October 7<\/strong>. During those battles, the&nbsp;<strong>KIA and its allies<\/strong>&nbsp;were forced to make&nbsp;<strong>tactical withdrawals<\/strong>&nbsp;from some positions along the Law Man road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to&nbsp;<em>Myitkyina News Journal<\/em>,&nbsp;<strong>Colonel Naw Bu<\/strong>, spokesperson for the&nbsp;<strong>Kachin Independence Organization\/Army (KIO\/KIA)<\/strong>, stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt the moment, no side has firm control over the area. Sometimes the junta troops pull back, sometimes our forces withdraw. Resistance forces capture junta checkpoint at Me Zali\u2013Sittaw Suspension Bridge in Pwintbyu Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF)<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>Pwintbyu Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Minbu District<\/strong>, reported that resistance forces successfully&nbsp;<strong>stormed and captured<\/strong>&nbsp;a junta&nbsp;<strong>checkpoint<\/strong>&nbsp;located at the&nbsp;<strong>Me Zali\u2013Sittaw Suspension Bridge<\/strong>, along the&nbsp;<strong>Pathein\u2013Monywa Road<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Magway Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack took place at&nbsp;<strong>5:00 p.m. on October 4<\/strong>, when a joint revolutionary force launched an assault that lasted about&nbsp;<strong>one and a half hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the operation, the resistance forces seized the&nbsp;<strong>bodies of four junta soldiers<\/strong>, as well as&nbsp;<strong>weapons, ammunition, and military equipment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack was jointly carried out by the&nbsp;<strong>Pwintbyu Township People\u2019s Defense Force<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Minbu District Battalion 7<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>Minbu District Pa Ka Pha (People\u2019s Defense Organization)<\/strong>, with&nbsp;<strong>artillery support<\/strong>&nbsp;provided by&nbsp;<strong>Minbu District Battalion 4<\/strong>, according to the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>7.
