Fifteen Regime Troops, Including a Major, Killed in Clash near Sinchayyar Pagoda between Yonezin Gyi and Pan Aing Villages, Taungtha Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 5<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Taungtha People\u2019s Defense Force (TTA PDF)<\/strong>, a fierce clash broke out near&nbsp;<strong>Sinchayyar Pagoda<\/strong>, located between&nbsp;<strong>Yonezin Gyi<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Pan Aing<\/strong>&nbsp;villages in&nbsp;<strong>Taungtha Township<\/strong>, when revolutionary forces intercepted a&nbsp;<strong>military column<\/strong>&nbsp;of over&nbsp;<strong>300 troops<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>soldiers, police, and Pyu Saw Htee militia members<\/strong>, advancing from&nbsp;<strong>Maline\u2013Pan Aing<\/strong>&nbsp;toward&nbsp;<strong>Yonezin Gyi Village<\/strong>&nbsp;at around&nbsp;<strong>5 p.m. on September 9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TTA PDF announced on&nbsp;<strong>October 5<\/strong>&nbsp;that during the battle,&nbsp;<strong>15 junta troops<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>one major<\/strong>, were killed, while many others were wounded and forced to retreat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following morning, the same military column launched a counteroffensive, during which&nbsp;<strong>two resistance fighters<\/strong>&nbsp;from the&nbsp;<strong>Karyin Revolutionary Force<\/strong>&nbsp;heroically sacrificed their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afterwards, the junta troops invaded&nbsp;<strong>Yonezin Gyi Village<\/strong>, committing brutal acts including&nbsp;<strong>burning and looting civilian homes<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>killing villagers<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>sexual assaults against women<\/strong>, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The joint operation against the junta column was carried out by the&nbsp;<strong>Taungtha People\u2019s Defense Force (TTA PDF)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Bravo Team (Meiktila)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>DSNDA (Danu Defense Force)<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Myingyan District Battalion (3)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>2. Clash Erupts in Min Taung Township; Regime Troops Suffer Casualties, Arrest Youths, and Engage in Looting During Retreat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 5<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>8 a.m. on October 5<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>military column of about 40 junta soldiers and police officers<\/strong>&nbsp;advanced from&nbsp;<strong>Min Taung Town<\/strong>&nbsp;via&nbsp;<strong>Nyaung Kyat Village<\/strong>&nbsp;toward&nbsp;<strong>Alel Chaung Police Station<\/strong>, when they were ambushed near&nbsp;<strong>Khon Taing Village<\/strong>&nbsp;by local resistance forces, according to the&nbsp;<strong>Union of Burma Defense Army (USBA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clash lasted about&nbsp;<strong>15 minutes<\/strong>, and although junta casualties were observed, the exact number is still under investigation. After the battle, the military column&nbsp;<strong>retreated back toward Min Taung Town<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While retreating, the troops&nbsp;<strong>arrested several young civilians<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>looted food supplies and valuable items<\/strong>&nbsp;by forcibly entering homes along the way, local sources reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>3. People\u2019s Defense Forces Launch Surprise Raid on Junta Bunker Outpost at Zee Kone Lay (Pyu) Village in Shwebo Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 5<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defense Organization (Pa Ka Pha)<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>Sagaing Region<\/strong>&nbsp;announced that its forces launched a&nbsp;<strong>surprise attack<\/strong>&nbsp;on a&nbsp;<strong>military bunker outpost<\/strong>&nbsp;at the entrance of&nbsp;<strong>Zee Kone Lay (Pyu) Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Shwebo Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Shwebo District<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The assault occurred at around&nbsp;<strong>1:30 a.m. on October 5<\/strong>, led by the&nbsp;<strong>Shwebo Township Pa Ka Pha Offensive Operations Team (PDO)<\/strong>, in coordination with&nbsp;<strong>Pa Ka Pha Combat Teams 1, 2, 3, and 5<\/strong>, who conducted the raid using&nbsp;<strong>guerrilla tactics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the operation, the resistance forces successfully&nbsp;<strong>captured and destroyed one military bunker<\/strong>, seizing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 carbines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 9mm pistol<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>129 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>38 carbine bullets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10 9mm bullets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 hand grenades<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 magazines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 mobile phone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It was confirmed that&nbsp;<strong>two junta soldiers, including Pyu Saw Htee militia members, were killed<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>two others wounded<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>one revolutionary fighter<\/strong>&nbsp;was&nbsp;<strong>martyred in action<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the clash, junta troops and Pyu Saw Htee militias stationed at&nbsp;<strong>Myoke Village Monastery<\/strong>&nbsp;supported their forces with&nbsp;<strong>heavy and small weapons fire<\/strong>. In response, resistance forces launched&nbsp;<strong>counter-fire using 60mm mortars and Kalaw grenades<\/strong>, before successfully withdrawing from the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>4. Four Police Officers Extorting Money from Civilians Shot Dead in Monywa Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 5<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Monywa Township People\u2019s Security Force<\/strong>, at around&nbsp;<strong>morning hours of October 4<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>four police personnel<\/strong>\u2014including&nbsp;<strong>three officers<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>one constable<\/strong>\u2014who were&nbsp;<strong>extorting money and goods from civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;near&nbsp;<strong>Tharsi Road and the Ettaw Roundabout<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Monywa Township<\/strong>, were attacked and killed in a&nbsp;<strong>gunfire exchange<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resistance forces seized from the scene:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 BA.63 (G3) rifles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 9mm pistol<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All four police members were reportedly&nbsp;<strong>killed instantly at the site<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coordinated attack was jointly conducted by the&nbsp;<strong>Monywa Township People\u2019s Security Force (Monywa Pa La Pha)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Student Armed Force (SAF)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Monywa District Battalion 2, Subdivision (1)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Ywar Zaw Gyi Taw Lan Thant Team<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Budalin Mobile Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All participating revolutionary fighters successfully&nbsp;<strong>completed the mission and safely withdrew<\/strong>&nbsp;without casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Five civilians injured in a junta airstrike on Thae Chaung Gyi Village, Tharyar Chaung Township<\/strong><br><strong>October 5, Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the evening of&nbsp;<strong>October 5<\/strong>, a military aircraft dropped a&nbsp;<strong>500-pound bomb<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Thae Chaung Gyi Village<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Tharyar Chaung Township<\/strong>. According to reports, there were&nbsp;<strong>no ongoing clashes<\/strong>&nbsp;in the area at the time of the airstrike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bombing injured&nbsp;<strong>five civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;and caused&nbsp;<strong>damage to homes and other properties<\/strong>&nbsp;in the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resistance groups have&nbsp;<strong>warned civilians in Tanintharyi Region<\/strong>&nbsp;to remain vigilant, as the&nbsp;<strong>junta\u2019s targeted attacks on civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;have been&nbsp;<strong>increasing in frequency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6. Temporary closure of Mezalay\u2013Sittaw Bridge in Pwint Phyu Township<\/strong><br><strong>October 5, Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defence Organization (Pa Ka Pha)<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>Pwint Phyu Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Magway Region<\/strong>, announced the&nbsp;<strong>temporary closure<\/strong>&nbsp;of the&nbsp;<strong>Mezalay\u2013Sittaw Bridge (formerly the suspension bridge)<\/strong>&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<strong>Pathein\u2013Monywa road<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bridge closure took effect on&nbsp;<strong>October 5<\/strong>, and the organization stated that it&nbsp;<strong>will not take responsibility<\/strong>&nbsp;for any&nbsp;<strong>incidents or issues<\/strong>&nbsp;arising from unauthorized use during the closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pwint Phyu Township Pa Ka Pha further clarified that this announcement is&nbsp;<strong>final and binding<\/strong>&nbsp;until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>7.
