According to the Pa Ka Pha (PDF) of Bago District, the reconstituted SAC Infantry Battalion (598) based in Shwekyin Township, Bago Region, was attacked with heavy artillery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 2<\/strong>, the KNLA Battalion (7)<\/strong>, together with Bago District Pa Ka Pha artillery units<\/strong> and Kawa artillery units<\/strong>, jointly launched heavy artillery fire at the battalion, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the attack, two junta soldiers were severely injured<\/strong> and transported to Sin Ywar hospital<\/strong>, sources said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, according to a junta soldier who defected unarmed<\/strong> from Infantry Battalion (598), the Revolutionary Forces\u2019 artillery and sniper attacks inflicted heavy casualties. The Kyaukme People\u2019s Defense Force (Kyaukme PDF)<\/strong> issued an announcement apologizing for having to withdraw from Kyaukme Town<\/strong>, which was subsequently retaken by the junta<\/strong>, and stated that they will return at the right time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Indaw Revolution \u2013 IR<\/strong>, in Inndaw Township, Sagaing Region<\/strong>, a woman who had traveled from Nankham<\/strong> to Mawlu<\/strong> by motorbike to sell goods was robbed at gunpoint with a homemade firearm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on October 2<\/strong>, near Pin Wai Village<\/strong> along the Mawlu\u2013Naba road<\/strong>, when she had become separated from her companions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The robber blocked her motorbike, brandished a homemade gun, and demanded her purse<\/strong>, forcibly robbing her. When the woman tried to escape by riding off on her motorbike<\/strong>, the assailant shot at her<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the PSLF\/TNLA<\/strong>, in Zeltun Hoon Village<\/strong>, Namhsan Township<\/strong>, located in the Palaung Self-Administered Zone<\/strong> of northern Shan State<\/strong> (under TNLA Brigade 9\u2019s control<\/strong>), two children were killed in a junta airstrike<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 12:28 p.m. on October 4<\/strong>, a junta jet fighter<\/strong> dropped two 250-pound bombs<\/strong> on the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
