Korean Revolutionaries Hold Clear-Cut Protest Against Junta\u2019s Sham Election<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 4<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A \u201cNationwide Anti-Election March and Protest\u201d was held in Seoul on October 4 to strongly denounce the junta\u2019s sham election. According to MFDMC (Myanmar Federal Democracy Movement Committee), over 400 Myanmar revolution supporters in Korea took part in the protest, voicing their firm opposition to the military regime\u2019s fake election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The demonstration was organized by the \u201cJoint Committee for the Anti-Junta Election Movement,\u201d composed of 39 revolutionary organizations, in cooperation with the NUG Representative Office in Korea. Participants included revolutionaries and activists from 16 cities across South Korea \u2014 Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Incheon, Bucheon, Paju, Gwangju, Pocheon, Gimpo, Ansan, Pyeongtaek, Cheonan, Daejeon, Daegu, Gumi, Gimhae, Busan, and Geoje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his opening remarks,&nbsp;<strong>U Yan Naing Tun<\/strong>, NUG\u2019s Myanmar Representative to the Republic of Korea, stated that&nbsp;<em>\u201cThe sham election designed to prolong the dictatorship must not be tolerated. The people\u2019s power belongs solely to the people,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;calling on all to resist and revolt against the junta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>U Win Paw Maung<\/strong>, Co-Chair of the Committee Against the Military Coup, also remarked that&nbsp;<em>\u201cThis protest marks the beginning of our anti-election movement in Korea, and we will continue to intensify it \u2014 even to the extent of establishing protest camps if necessary.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the second part of the event, several representatives delivered solidarity speeches \u2014 including&nbsp;<strong>U Thaung Tun (Chairman of NLD-OC Korea)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Dae Gu Bhone Bhone<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>U Phone Naing (Deputy Chair of MFDMC)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Van Kyel Lyan (Secretary of the Chin Youth Organization)<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Ko Ye from the Gimhae Nway Oo Revolutionary Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representatives&nbsp;<strong>Daw K Tway Aung (from JDC\/ODC)<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Ko Chet (from MFDMC)<\/strong>&nbsp;delivered words of thanks, while revolutionary youths read out a&nbsp;<strong>joint declaration<\/strong>&nbsp;in both Burmese and Korean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The declaration urged all people of Myanmar to&nbsp;<em>\u201ccompletely reject and actively dismantle the terrorist junta\u2019s sham election through every means available.\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;It also called on the Korean government and public to&nbsp;<em>\u201cunequivocally condemn the junta\u2019s fake election and refuse to recognize any results or government arising from it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>2. Revolutionary Artist Daung Meets with Myanmar Representative Office Members in Japan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 4<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Revolutionary artist&nbsp;<strong>Daung<\/strong>&nbsp;and his team, who are in Japan for their \u201cDaung Japan Tour\u201d fundraising concert, met warmly on October 4 with&nbsp;<strong>U Saw Bal Htein<\/strong>, representative of the Myanmar NUG Office in Japan, and office members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, the representatives expressed sincere appreciation for Daung\u2019s unwavering support for the people\u2019s cause and his continuous fundraising efforts to aid Myanmar citizens. Free Medical Treatment Provided to War-Affected Villages in Wuntho Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 4<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Sagaing Region Civilian Support Network<\/strong>, free medical services were provided to civilians in long-term conflict-affected villages across&nbsp;<strong>Wuntho Township<\/strong>, Sagaing Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wuntho Township Coordination Team, in collaboration with on-ground medical organizations, carried out the free health services with the assistance of partner donor organizations and contributors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The network also encouraged anyone wishing to provide humanitarian aid for war-displaced civilians across Sagaing Region to contact the&nbsp;<strong>Sagaing Civilian Support Network<\/strong>&nbsp;directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>4. Elderly Woman in Tatkon, Naypyitaw, Commits Suicide After Failing to Repay Debt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October 4<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>AAMIJ News<\/strong>, a 60-year-old woman from&nbsp;<strong>Boh Yae Naung Ward, Tatkon Town, Naypyitaw Council Territory<\/strong>, took her own life on October 2 by jumping into a river after being unable to repay her debts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deceased, identified as&nbsp;<strong>Daw Khin Thei<\/strong>, had been living alone after being abandoned by her family and survived through daily labor. She reportedly owed around&nbsp;<strong>1.5 million kyats<\/strong>&nbsp;and had been struggling to repay her daily interest loans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before taking her life, she left a note saying,&nbsp;<em>\u201cI can\u2019t repay my debt, so I\u2019m jumping into the river. Please send my bicycle to Daw Khin Thei\u2019s house near Dhamma Yate Monastery.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When her note was found, locals discovered her bicycle and slippers left on the bridge at Boh Yae Naung Ward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neighbors said she had been paying back high-interest \u201cdaily repayment\u201d loans and had missed several payments recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the 2021 military coup, Myanmar\u2019s worsening economy and daily hardships have driven many citizens into severe distress, leading to an increasing number of suicides among those unable to endure the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>5. In Kutkai, a young girl was raped and murdered<\/strong><br><strong>October 4 \u2014 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>PSLF\/TNLA<\/strong>, at about&nbsp;<strong>3:00 p.m. on October 2<\/strong>, in&nbsp;<strong>Ward 8, Kutkai Town<\/strong>, an&nbsp;<strong>8-year-old girl named Ma Shwe Ngein<\/strong>&nbsp;was abducted by a man while walking home from school near the&nbsp;<strong>golf course road<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The perpetrator&nbsp;<strong>dragged her into nearby bushes<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>sexually assaulted her<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>killed her<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her body was later found&nbsp;<strong>in the bushes near the golf course<\/strong>, bearing&nbsp;<strong>a knife wound on her neck<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>T\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)<\/strong>&nbsp;reported that&nbsp;<strong>police from T\u2019ang Township<\/strong>&nbsp;inspected the scene, and the search for the perpetrator&nbsp;<strong>is still ongoing<\/strong>&nbsp;to bring him to justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>6. Military junta conducted 3,744 airstrikes, killing 4,135 people including 559 children<\/strong><br><strong>October 4 \u2014 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Ministry of Human Rights<\/strong>, as of&nbsp;<strong>September 30, 2025<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>terrorist military junta<\/strong>&nbsp;has carried out&nbsp;<strong>3,744 airstrikes<\/strong>, killing&nbsp;<strong>4,135 people<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>559 children under 18 years old<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airstrikes have also&nbsp;<strong>destroyed 374 schools, 129 hospitals and clinics, and 576 religious buildings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta has continued to perpetrate&nbsp;<strong>mass killings<\/strong>, with records showing&nbsp;<strong>452 incidents of massacres<\/strong>, in which&nbsp;<strong>4,763 civilians<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>538 children and 829 women<\/strong>, have been killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the junta has conducted&nbsp;<strong>1,618 instances of forced conscription<\/strong>, recruiting&nbsp;<strong>30,706 people<\/strong>&nbsp;against their will into the military.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Altogether,&nbsp;<strong>21,503 human rights violations<\/strong>&nbsp;have been documented. Among them,&nbsp;<strong>extrajudicial killings<\/strong>&nbsp;were the most frequent, with&nbsp;<strong>5,016 recorded cases<\/strong>, the report stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>7.
