Seven junta soldiers killed in clash near Shan Inndaw Village, Tanintharyi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 26<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Karen National Union (KNU) \u2013 Myeik-Dawei District reported that on September 25 around 6:00 a.m., a battle broke out near Shan Inndaw Village, Pawut Village Tract, Tanintharyi Township, Tanintharyi Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clash occurred between the junta\u2019s armed forces and the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA, the armed wing of KNU), 11th Battalion under the 4th Brigade, alongside allied revolutionary forces. According to the report, 7 junta soldiers were killed and 8 others injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. In Kyaukme Township, junta troops killed a family, raped and murdered a girl, and also killed a Buddhist monk<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 26<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tai Students Union reported that on September 24 at noon, in Na-Oikhant Village, Kyaukme Township, northern Shan State, junta soldiers raped and murdered an underaged girl, and killed a Buddhist monk along with two other villagers \u2014 a total of four victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta column entered Na-Oikhant Village, which had already been almost entirely abandoned due to displacement. There, they shot and killed a monk who had remained behind to care for the ailing abbot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afterwards, they discovered a family of three hiding in nearby field huts. They shot dead the mother and young son on the spot, then raped and killed the underaged daughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Junta military uniforms were later found left behind inside the family\u2019s hut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tai Students Union has called on the international community and world governments not to collaborate with the junta that is committing such war crimes against innocent civilians, but instead to take action. They further stressed that efforts will be made to ensure accountability so that these perpetrators of crimes against humanity face justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Junta bombs Taungoo Monastery near Infantry Battalion 5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 26<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to APM News Agency, on September 26 at about 3:48 p.m., the junta\u2019s air force dropped a 500-pound bomb from a jet fighter on Taungoo Monastery, located near Infantry Battalion 5 in Taungoo, Bago Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strike destroyed an entire monastery building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Civilian killed in junta drone bombing of Paput Village<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 26<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PSLF\/TNLA (Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army) reported that on September 26 at 11:28 a.m., junta troops deliberately carried out a drone bombing attack on Paput Village, Kyaukme Township, in the 2nd Brigade area of Ta\u2019ang Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A 61-year-old man was killed instantly, and one house was also damaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Junta airstrike on Kanthuma Village, Tant-Se Township kills 8 civilians and injures 12<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 26<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pa Ka Pha (People\u2019s Defense Force \u2013 PDF) in Tant-Se Township reported that on September 26 at about 11:38 a.m., the junta\u2019s air force bombed a gas station and a restaurant in Kanthuma Village, Tant-Se Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack killed 8 civilians and injured 12 more. Some of the injured are in critical condition, so the death toll is expected to rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6. Karenni military fundraising campaign reaches 76% of target<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 26<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Joint Command Structure (JCS) of the Karenni resistance announced that the \u201cTogether for Karenni\u201d campaign, launched to raise military expenses, has now secured over 1.5 million Thai Baht \u2014 76% of its 2 million Baht target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign began on August 16, 2025, and will end on September 30. Organizers are calling for continued donations to help reach the remaining 24%.
