ULF ambushes retreating junta column in Ka Ni Township, capturing three surrenders and seizing weapons<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 18<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Sagaing Region, Ka Ni Township, the&nbsp;<strong>Union Liberation Front (ULF) People\u2019s Defense Force<\/strong>&nbsp;based in Yinnmarpin Township ambushed a junta column retreating from a battle in&nbsp;<strong>Chaung Ma Village<\/strong>, capturing three soldiers who surrendered along with weapons and ammunition, according to official reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta column had been carrying out military offensives in Ka Ni Township, raiding villages, looting, and burning them. On&nbsp;<strong>September 11<\/strong>, revolutionary forces attacked them in Chaung Ma Village, killing three junta soldiers and capturing four who surrendered along with weapons, according to a September 12 statement from the National Unity Government (NUG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following that clash, the junta column retreated from Chaung Ma Village toward the&nbsp;<strong>Pyusawhti base in Banbwe Village, Yinnmarpin Township<\/strong>, when they were ambushed by the ULF. In the ambush, one deputy sergeant and two members of the People\u2019s Militia (Pa Tha Sa) were captured as prisoners, along with two MA-1 rifles, one MA-2 rifle, 200 rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition, and four phones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also reported that throughout September, around&nbsp;<strong>100 troops under the 16th Infantry Battalion of Military Operations Command No. 33<\/strong>, led by Captain Thurein, have been conducting military offensives in the region in an attempt to secure control over local routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Hidden weapons and ammunition left by junta troops discovered in Htilin Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 18<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been reported in&nbsp;<em>Yaw Alin Tan<\/em>&nbsp;that weapons and ammunition hidden by junta troops during a military operation in Htilin Township have been discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>September 17<\/strong>, while conducting patrols in the area, members of the People\u2019s Revolutionary Forces discovered the cache in a forested area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seized items reportedly included&nbsp;<strong>2 RPG warheads, 23 rounds of 60 mm artillery shells, and 2 grenades (Onaga type)<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is further reported that junta troops in Htilin Township have been carrying out military offensives only in villages within a five-mile radius of the town. On the morning of&nbsp;<strong>September 18<\/strong>, approximately&nbsp;<strong>80 junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;entered&nbsp;<strong>Tharaka Village<\/strong>, south of the town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Four junta soldiers killed as MSRF attacks junta outpost in Thanbyuzayat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 18<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF)<\/strong>, an attack was carried out against a junta outpost near&nbsp;<strong>Anin Village, Thanbyuzayat Township, Mon State<\/strong>, close to a railway station, resulting in the deaths of four junta soldiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>September 18 at 10:00 a.m.<\/strong>, revolutionary forces launched a surprise offensive against the junta outpost. It has been confirmed by eyewitnesses that four junta soldiers were killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack was conducted jointly by the&nbsp;<strong>Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF)<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Ye People\u2019s Defense Force (YPDF)<\/strong>, both under the&nbsp;<strong>Defense Department of the Mon State Federal Council (MSFC)<\/strong>. Two junta soldiers killed in clash with KNLA coalition forces on Mawtaung border trade route<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 18<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>KNU Myeik\u2013Dawei District<\/strong>&nbsp;administration has reported that a clash took place between junta forces and revolutionary troops on the&nbsp;<strong>Mawtaung cross-border trade route<\/strong>, in&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Township<\/strong>, under the control of the&nbsp;<strong>Karen National Union (KNU)<\/strong>, along the Thai\u2013Myanmar border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clash occurred on&nbsp;<strong>September 18 around 8:00 a.m.<\/strong>&nbsp;near&nbsp;<strong>Thein Khun Village<\/strong>&nbsp;on the Mawtaung border trade route, between junta troops and a joint revolutionary force consisting of&nbsp;<strong>KNLA Brigade 4, Battalion 11, and allied resistance forces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the battle, two junta soldiers were killed, two were injured, and weapons including&nbsp;<strong>one MA-1 rifle, one MA-3 rifle, one hand grenade, 100 rounds of ammunition, and four magazines<\/strong>&nbsp;were seized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Junta seizes Sann Kywel Village in Hpakant, shells with heavy artillery, and burns gem mines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 18<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the afternoon of&nbsp;<strong>September 18<\/strong>, following the withdrawal of&nbsp;<strong>KIA and PDF forces<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Sann Kywel Village in Hpakant Township<\/strong>, junta troops occupied the village and began indiscriminate shelling with heavy artillery, as well as burning down gem mines and machinery belonging to&nbsp;<strong>Yadanar Moe Myay Company<\/strong>, according to local resistance sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>September 17 around 5:00 a.m.<\/strong>, clashes broke out in Hpakant Township. Later that day, in&nbsp;<strong>Man Kwat Thit<\/strong>, junta artillery shelling killed one civilian and injured three others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the evening, artillery fire struck the&nbsp;<strong>Shwankha RC School<\/strong>, killing an elderly Kachin man who served as the caretaker of the religious compound. Around&nbsp;<strong>4:00 p.m.<\/strong>, further shelling of&nbsp;<strong>Maw Shan, Sein Taung, and Maw Shan Chaung Phya areas<\/strong>&nbsp;killed a child and injured four people, including other children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, in&nbsp;<strong>Mhaw Wine Ward, Hpakant town<\/strong>, junta troops shot and killed a man near the joint office, before seizing his body and carrying it away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6. Terrorist junta bombs Tananu Kwine Pagoda monastery in Karenni State<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 18<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>terrorist junta<\/strong>&nbsp;carried out an airstrike using a jet fighter on&nbsp;<strong>Tananu Kwine Pagoda monastery<\/strong>, located on the western side of&nbsp;<strong>Demoso Township, Karenni State<\/strong>, according to&nbsp;<strong>Ta Eh Soe<\/strong>, Central News and Information Officer of the&nbsp;<strong>Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack took place in the morning of&nbsp;<strong>September 17<\/strong>. Woman killed by junta artillery shelling in Monywa<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 18<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Monywa Township Information Team<\/strong>, a woman was killed after being struck by artillery fire from junta troops in&nbsp;<strong>Ngatwine Village, Monywa Township, Sagaing Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>September 17 at around 5:30 p.m.<\/strong>, junta troops stationed at the&nbsp;<strong>Mau Gate outpost<\/strong>&nbsp;fired heavy artillery four times toward Ngatwine Village, despite the absence of clashes or military activity in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the shelling,&nbsp;<strong>one man and four women<\/strong>&nbsp;were injured. Pa Ka Pha in Bago District holds graduation ceremony for advanced combat training course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 18<br>Radio NUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Pa Ka Pha (PDF) of Bago District<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>graduation ceremony for an advanced combat training course<\/strong>&nbsp;was jointly organized with the&nbsp;<strong>Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG)<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Special Region Military Command<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony was held on&nbsp;<strong>September 14<\/strong>&nbsp;in a revolutionary-controlled area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the event, speeches were delivered by&nbsp;<strong>Afuman Johnny<\/strong>, Commander of Pa Ka Pha, Bago District;&nbsp;<strong>Ye Baw Yan Naing<\/strong>, Chief of Strategy from the Special Region Military Command; and veteran ABSDF revolutionary&nbsp;<strong>Ye Baw Lwan Thu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afterward, the graduating trainees pledged allegiance by drinking the oath of loyalty and reciting the oath of commitment.
