The Interim Local People\u2019s Administration Central Committee Meeting (No. 33\/2025)<\/strong>, under the National Unity Government (NUG), was held on the morning of September 18. At the meeting, NUG Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khine Thann<\/strong>, who also serves as Chair of the Interim Local People\u2019s Administration Central Committee, delivered the opening remarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his address, the Prime Minister stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor four consecutive years, this committee has been holding regular weekly meetings without fail, systematically managing administrative matters. Although we could not always conduct complete and comprehensive studies, reviews, and assessments of every township situation, we managed to accomplish such work to a certain extent. Thanks to these assessments, we were able to make necessary adjustments. Still, given both the current circumstances and the revolutionary perspectives of each individual, there are cases where we failed to implement or improve matters effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administering governance during a revolution is never easy. However, this governance sector remains one of the most important factors by which both the international community and our own people evaluate and assess the progress of the revolution. Therefore, we must handle all tasks without leaving anything pending and complete them as fully as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since township-level operations must be carried out in real-time, it is crucial that we, as responsible officials, ensure that no township suffers setbacks or difficulties due to delays in our decision-making. We must collectively strive to prevent such situations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is reported that members of the Interim Local People\u2019s Administration Central Committee also presented updates regarding the progress of decisions and processes from Meeting (No. 32\/2025), and discussed in detail the unfinished tasks that remain to be carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khine Thann, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Associate Secretaries, and relevant departmental officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is reported that on September 16, the Mon State Federal Council (MSFC)<\/strong>, led by Chair Naing Kaung Ywet<\/strong>, and the Mon State Consultative Council (MSCC)<\/strong>, led by Chair Dr. Khine Saung<\/strong>\u2014which consists of elected MPs from the 2020 elections and other groups\u2014held their first online meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussions on the current political and military situation in Mon State, the junta\u2019s planned illegal election, and potential areas of future cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a joint statement, both MSFC and MSCC declared that they will stand together in opposition<\/strong> against the illegal election organized by the military junta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ethical Leadership and Public Governance Diploma Course<\/strong>, organized by the Department of Women and Child Affairs<\/strong> under the Karenni Interim Executive Council<\/strong>, and hosted by the Karenni Women Academy<\/strong>, will be offered free of charge, according to an official announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course will begin in October and run for three months. Its aim is to promote equal educational opportunities for women and girls, thereby enhancing their capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
