Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s son responds that he does not believe the terrorist military’s spokesperson

September 10

Ko Htein Lin, also known as Kim Aris, the son of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, has responded that he does not believe the words of Zaw Min Tun, the spokesperson of the terrorist military.

Zaw Min Tun, the spokesperson of the terrorist junta, had claimed that reports concerning Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s health were fabricated in order to overshadow Min Aung Hlaing’s trip to China. In response, Ko Htein Lin (Kim Aris) issued his statement.

The junta spokesperson said that “Mother is not in bad health” and dismissed the reports as false. Kim Aris replied, “If that is so, I request direct communication with my mother in order to confirm her true health condition.” He made this announcement today, September 10, on his social media page.

He also stated that without such direct contact, the junta’s words cannot be trusted.

Revolutionary forces, along with Kim Aris, have criticized and rejected the junta’s tight restrictions that prevent Daw Aung San Suu Kyi from meeting her family, legal representatives, and independent doctors, while simultaneously issuing denials about her condition.

“My mother, who is now 80 years old, is being detained in conditions that are certainly harmful to her health. She is being denied her basic human rights,” Kim Aris further said.

He emphasized that the people of Myanmar, her family, and the world deserve to know the true condition of their leader, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. “My mother also has the right to truth, freedom, dignity, and to live her life. To deprive her of these basic rights is an undeniable act of cruelty,” he said.

“My grandfather gave his life for independence. I do not want my mother, who has been striving for peace, progress, justice, and democracy for the country, to be unjustly imprisoned and die in prison,” Kim Aris declared.

After Kim Aris expressed on September 5 that he was gravely concerned about Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s health and life, the revolutionary community and the National League for Democracy (NLD) called for the immediate release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and all other political prisoners.

========================

📌📌 2.
