Five junta soldiers killed in an ambush on three military vehicles in Taungtha Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>September 4<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>September 3<\/strong>, near Kan Ywar Station, between Bein Nwel Kone and Ta Mya Thar Village in Taungtha Township, three military vehicles advancing from Myingyan City were ambushed with 40mm explosives, according to an announcement from Myingyan District Battalion 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the clash, five junta soldiers were killed by bomb hits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ambush was carried out by Myingyan District Battalion 3, and it was confirmed that the revolutionary forces successfully withdrew without casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. SNA attacks resistance-controlled territory in Banmauk Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>September 4<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Kawlin District Battalion 4, the&nbsp;<strong>Shanni Nationalities Army (SNA)<\/strong>, a militia aligned with the junta, launched an attack inside resistance-controlled territory near&nbsp;<strong>Nayaka Village, Banmauk Township, Kawlin District, Sagaing Region<\/strong>, on&nbsp;<strong>September 3<\/strong>&nbsp;around 3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SNA troops entered with a 4-wheel vehicle and opened fire, but revolutionary forces were able to repel them in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A 10-minute firefight broke out, after which SNA units retreated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the clash, SNA forces used drones to strike again, dropping bombs on civilian residential areas, injuring one local resident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports also indicate that junta forces and their allied SNA units have simultaneously launched offensives in northern and western Banmauk, resulting in repeated clashes with resistance forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Civilian killed in Lapantan Township due to junta drone bombing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>September 4<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At about&nbsp;<strong>12:30 p.m. on September 4<\/strong>, junta troops stationed in&nbsp;<strong>Lapantan City, Bago Region<\/strong>, after arriving at&nbsp;<strong>Santalin Village<\/strong>, carried out a drone bombing attack, dropping two bombs on&nbsp;<strong>Tharyar Chaung Village<\/strong>, according to the Shwe Tan Myay People\u2019s Defense Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One bomb landed outside the village, while the other struck the house of&nbsp;<strong>U Zeya Lynn<\/strong>, killing him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta has been conducting indiscriminate airstrikes and artillery shelling against villages in Thayarwaddy District, without any ground clashes. Two civilians killed and four injured in junta air and artillery strikes in Pulae and Myo-U Townships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>September 4<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local reports, in the afternoon of&nbsp;<strong>September 4<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>FCT 2000G jet fighter<\/strong>&nbsp;from the junta\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Tada-U airbase<\/strong>&nbsp;carried out an airstrike on&nbsp;<strong>Tane Village, Pulae Township<\/strong>, dropping a 500-pound bomb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bombing destroyed one house by fire, killing one man and one woman, while also killing four cattle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, around 2 p.m. on the same day, the junta troops stationed in&nbsp;<strong>Yezagyo Town<\/strong>&nbsp;fired&nbsp;<strong>two Howitzer shells<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>Nabat Village, Myo-U Township<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One shell exploded near&nbsp;<strong>Baringyi Monastery School<\/strong>, and another fell inside Nabat Village, wounding four civilians with shrapnel injuries. Man sentenced to 40 years in prison for raping four women in Kyauk Taw and Mrauk-U<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>September 4<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>APM News Agency<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Mrauk-U District Court under the Arakan People\u2019s Revolutionary Government (APRG)<\/strong>&nbsp;sentenced a perpetrator to&nbsp;<strong>40 years imprisonment<\/strong>&nbsp;for raping four women in&nbsp;<strong>Kyauk Taw and Mrauk-U Townships, Rakhine State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ruling was handed down on&nbsp;<strong>September 1<\/strong>, convicting&nbsp;<strong>Zaw Zaw Naing (aka La Phyu Chay), age 25, from Pyi Taw Thar Ward, Kyauk Taw Town<\/strong>. The court found that between 2024 and 2025, he lured four young women under the pretext of offering them jobs, then threatened and raped them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Details of the cases are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>February 6, 2025<\/strong>, he raped a 20-year-old woman from\u00a0<strong>Leik Ma Village, Kyauk Taw Township<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>January 24, 2025<\/strong>, he raped a 17-year-old girl from\u00a0<strong>Myin Kyat Village, Kyauk Taw Township<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>January 14, 2025<\/strong>, he raped a 25-year-old woman from\u00a0<strong>Hsin O Kyi Village, Mrauk-U Township<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>December 13, 2024<\/strong>, he raped a 14-year-old girl from\u00a0<strong>Let Kauk Zay Ward, Mrauk-U Town<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For these four cases, the court sentenced him under&nbsp;<strong>Section 366 (criminal intimidation)<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Section 376 (rape) of the Penal Code<\/strong>, imposing&nbsp;<strong>10 years imprisonment per case<\/strong>, totaling&nbsp;<strong>40 years of separate imprisonment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is further reported that Zaw Zaw Naing confessed to raping a total of&nbsp;<strong>11 women<\/strong>&nbsp;in Kyauk Taw, Mrauk-U, and Ponnagyun Townships.
