According to Brave Warrior for Myanmar (BWM)<\/em>, nearly 30 people were killed<\/strong> when the Pyin Nyaung Combat Training School<\/strong> of the junta\u2019s Military Commission Forces (Army)<\/strong> in Pyin Nyaung military town, Thanton Township, Bago Region<\/strong>, was attacked with short-range rockets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 26<\/strong>, BWM, MKCDF, ACPLF, and the 5th Battalion of KNLA Brigade 2<\/strong> launched nine short-range rockets<\/strong> at the training school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports state that the deputy principal\u2019s residence was hit, causing the house to catch fire. The deputy principal sustained severe injuries, and three soldiers inside the residence were killed instantly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A classroom building was also struck, where more than 20 officer trainees were killed on the spot<\/strong>, and over 50 others were injured<\/strong>. The classroom structure and equipment were severely damaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, two dormitories were hit<\/strong>, killing six people<\/strong>, including the dormitory warden. Both dormitories were destroyed in the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack also damaged two heavy artillery gun positions<\/strong>, three vehicles<\/strong>, and various teaching equipment and furnishings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kyarpauk Urban Guerrilla (UG) group<\/strong> announced that it carried out a warning blast with a sound mine at a site in Salin, Minbu District, Magway Region<\/strong>, where the junta\u2019s election commission was staging a mock polling demonstration<\/strong> for its sham elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 3:30 p.m. on August 31<\/strong>, a sound mine was detonated inside the General Administration Department office<\/strong> and Salin Basic Education High School No. 1<\/strong>, where the mock polling was being conducted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack was jointly carried out by the Salin Urban Guerrilla (UG) Kyarpauk group<\/strong> and the Salin People\u2019s Security (PaLaFa) temporary unit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The groups issued a warning that anyone who collaborates with, supports, or participates in enabling the junta\u2019s illegal sham election will face serious punitive action<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around 8:40 a.m. on September 1<\/strong>, a junta Y-12 aircraft<\/strong> dropped bombs on an IDP camp<\/strong> in western Demoso Township, Kayah State<\/strong>, injuring two displaced children and one woman<\/strong>, according to Jobs for Kayah<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were no clashes<\/strong> in the area and no military bases<\/strong> nearby, indicating that the junta deliberately targeted a civilian IDP camp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later in the day, a junta ground column advanced from Ngwe Taung Dam<\/strong> towards Pado Ngon village<\/strong>, shelling the area with heavy artillery. As a result, residents from Pado Ngon<\/strong> and Kwaing Nyaung New Village<\/strong> fled urgently for safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to local reports, on the morning of September 1<\/strong>, a man in his 30s<\/strong> was shot dead near Sukha Clinic<\/strong>, in Mashi Khtaung Ward, Hpakant, Kachin State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, on August 31<\/strong>, junta forces arrested a motorcycle workshop owner, three apprentices, and civilians from two passing cars<\/strong> in Kyaukwi<\/strong>, Hpakant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, between August 27 and September 1<\/strong>, junta troops carried out six consecutive days of airstrikes and artillery attacks<\/strong> on villages in Waimaw Township, Kachin State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, a six-year-old displaced child named Ma Khawng Naw<\/strong> was killed. Ma Zay Nwe (25), Ma Zay Yan (15), and U Tain Bawm (36)<\/strong> were injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports indicate that from around 10 a.m. on September 1<\/strong>, junta forces continued bombing villages across Waimaw Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Palaung State Liberation Front \/ Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (PSLF\/TNLA)<\/strong> announced that during August<\/strong>, a total of 46 civilians<\/strong> \u2014 including monks, nuns, and children \u2014 were killed in Kyaukme, Mongmit, Mongngawt, Hsipaw, and Namtu townships<\/strong> (areas under TNLA control) due to the junta\u2019s airstrikes, artillery shelling, and drone attacks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
