Resistance Forces Attack Junta Convoy Advancing from Myingyan to Man Lel Village \u2013 10 Soldiers Killed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 25<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>August 18<\/strong>, after nearly 20 days of operations, a junta military convoy led by regime troops and Pyu Saw Htee militias advanced from&nbsp;<strong>Myingyan<\/strong>&nbsp;toward&nbsp;<strong>Man Lel Village<\/strong>. On&nbsp;<strong>August 20<\/strong>, they were attacked by the&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF) of Nyaung Htoe Gyi Township<\/strong>&nbsp;in cooperation with battalions under&nbsp;<strong>Myingyan District Command<\/strong>, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the ambush,&nbsp;<strong>10 junta soldiers were confirmed killed<\/strong>&nbsp;and about&nbsp;<strong>8 more seriously wounded.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Weapons and equipment seized included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 MA-11 assault rifle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 drone shooter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 \u201cfive-tube\u201d rocket launcher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 hand grenades<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Starlink device<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some cash<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 ammunition boxes and assorted rounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Junta Convoy Leaving Ye-U Attacked with Landmines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 25<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Wolf Guerrilla LDF Ye-U Air Force<\/strong>&nbsp;announced that it carried out a landmine attack against a junta convoy that had departed from&nbsp;<strong>Ye-U town<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Shwebo District, Sagaing Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>August 25<\/strong>&nbsp;at around&nbsp;<strong>6:40 a.m.,<\/strong>&nbsp;a convoy of about&nbsp;<strong>30 regime soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;advanced south of Ye-U toward&nbsp;<strong>Ywar Thar Lay Village.<\/strong>&nbsp;Resistance fighters detonated&nbsp;<strong>two landmines<\/strong>, hitting the column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One junta soldier was confirmed wounded, and investigations are ongoing to determine whether there were additional casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the regime troops retaliated with small arms fire, Wolf Guerrilla LDF fighters reported that they successfully withdrew without any casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Junta Troops and Pyu Saw Htee Militias Torch Villages in Pakokku District\u2019s Pauk Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 25<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Anyar Pyit Taing Htaung Guerrilla Force<\/strong>, junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militias have been&nbsp;<strong>burning down villages<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Pauk Township, Pakokku District, Magway Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>August 20 around 9 a.m.,<\/strong>&nbsp;a joint force of regime troops and Pyu Saw Htee from&nbsp;<strong>Ya Gyi Pin Village<\/strong>&nbsp;torched&nbsp;<strong>31 civilian houses<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Ye Yone Village.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After returning to Pauk town, the convoy later reemerged on&nbsp;<strong>August 22<\/strong>&nbsp;with an estimated strength of&nbsp;<strong>about 900 troops.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By&nbsp;<strong>August 25,<\/strong>&nbsp;the same force had reached the area between&nbsp;<strong>Pauk town and Ye Pyar Village,<\/strong>&nbsp;where they reportedly burned down&nbsp;<strong>Pe Khu Hnit Pin Village.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, on&nbsp;<strong>August 22 at about 1 p.m.,<\/strong>&nbsp;two junta jet fighters conducted an&nbsp;<strong>airstrike on Se Wae Village in eastern Pauk Township,<\/strong>&nbsp;killing&nbsp;<strong>two civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;and injuring&nbsp;<strong>six others.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just five days prior to the air raid, junta troops had already entered Se Wae and set fire to civilian homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the convoy is said to be moving toward&nbsp;<strong>Kanma, Myoing, and Pakokku townships.<\/strong>&nbsp;Locals have been warned to remain vigilant against both ground assaults and airstrikes, and to seek safety in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Woman Killed, Three Men Injured by Random Junta Gunfire in Hpakant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 25<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local sources, in&nbsp;<strong>Hpakant Township, Kachin State<\/strong>, a civilian woman was killed and three men were injured as a result of indiscriminate gunfire by junta forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>August 24<\/strong>, KIA and KPDF joint forces carried out a mine attack against a junta unit arriving near the&nbsp;<strong>Yam Cheik factory compound<\/strong>&nbsp;in Hpakant, causing junta casualties. In retaliation, on&nbsp;<strong>August 25 around 8 a.m.,<\/strong>&nbsp;more than&nbsp;<strong>100 regime soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;entered Hpakant town and opened fire randomly with small arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the gunfire, a&nbsp;<strong>female vendor<\/strong>&nbsp;was struck in the face by a bullet while turning her head after hearing the shots. She died instantly on the spot. Three men were also injured, though their conditions were reported&nbsp;<strong>not to be life-threatening.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was further learned that even police officers from a nearby checkpoint fled when they came out to inspect the situation, as junta troops continued firing recklessly in the streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Newly Conscripted Junta Soldier Defects with Ammunition in Pale Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 25<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A newly conscripted junta soldier from a column of about&nbsp;<strong>100 troops<\/strong>&nbsp;stationed at&nbsp;<strong>Min Taing Pin Village, Pale Township, Sagaing Region<\/strong>&nbsp;has defected, bringing weapons and ammunition with him, according to&nbsp;<strong>Yinmarbin District Battalion (37).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>August 24<\/strong>, the soldier, identified as&nbsp;<strong>Aung Thu Win<\/strong>, surrendered with&nbsp;<strong>118 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>two MA-1 magazines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was reported that Aung Thu Win had been forcibly conscripted by junta authorities in Yangon. He was sent to attend military training at&nbsp;<strong>Palan Town<\/strong>&nbsp;before being deployed to&nbsp;<strong>Pale Township.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, he is being safely sheltered and debriefed, and officials announced that&nbsp;<strong>other defectors will be warmly welcomed<\/strong>&nbsp;should they come forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6.
