Civilian Killed and Four Injured as Junta Bombs Clinic and Preschool in Yenaungchaung Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local revolutionary forces, a civilian was killed and four others injured when the military carried out&nbsp;<strong>airstrikes on a clinic, a preschool in Lettaungsin Village, and Sankangyi Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in Yenaungchaung Township, Magway Region. The attacks also destroyed civilian homes and pagodas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>August 21 at around 8 p.m.<\/strong>, junta forces dropped&nbsp;<strong>two bombs from a MiG-29 jet fighter<\/strong>&nbsp;on the clinic and preschool in Lettaungsin Village, wounding two civilians, the Yenaungchaung People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF) reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PDF stated that there were no revolutionary forces present, nor was any medical treatment being carried out at the clinic. The facilities were deliberately targeted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the following day,&nbsp;<strong>August 22 around 2 p.m.<\/strong>, a MiG-29 fighter jet dropped&nbsp;<strong>two more bombs on Sankangyi Village in the Makein Kan area<\/strong>, killing an elderly man and seriously injuring two children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yenaungchaung PDF confirmed that civilian homes and pagodas were destroyed in these attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Five Chin Defense Forces Conduct Joint Military Training for Unified Resistance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an announcement accompanied by photos from the&nbsp;<strong>Senthang Revolution Force<\/strong>, five Chin Defense Forces in central Chin State conducted joint military exercises to strengthen unity and prepare for collective attacks against the common enemy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first-ever joint military training under the banner of&nbsp;<strong>ZZLMS<\/strong>&nbsp;included the groups:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CDF-Zotung<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CDF-Zophei<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CDF-Lautu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CDF-Mara<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Senthang Revolution Force<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The training was successfully completed in ZZLMS territory, with the announcement made on the evening of August 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The joint forces declared their continued commitment to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>strengthening brotherhood and unity among allies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>collectively resisting and defeating the common enemy,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensuring peace and stability in their territories,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>protecting the lives, homes, and livelihoods of the people,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ending internal conflicts in Chin State, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fighting alongside the people and revolutionary allies until the dictatorship is completely uprooted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During the training, participants demonstrated solidarity by supporting one another throughout, and expressed gratitude to all comrades, leaders, and contributors who made the joint military exercise possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The groups also extended appreciation to both local and international supporters who contributed to making the training a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Resistance Forces Attack Junta Naval Convoy with 107mm Rockets near Monywa<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Royal Tiger Force (RTF)<\/strong>&nbsp;guerrilla group announced today, August 23, that it attacked a junta naval convoy with&nbsp;<strong>107mm rockets<\/strong>&nbsp;near Minhtaung Port close to Monywa in Sagaing Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>August 22<\/strong>, as the convoy of&nbsp;<strong>34 military vessels<\/strong>&nbsp;moved down the Chindwin River from Minhtaung Port, RTF targeted the&nbsp;<strong>rearmost two ships<\/strong>&nbsp;with&nbsp;<strong>two 107mm short-range rockets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One naval vessel was directly hit, damaging its starboard engine and leaving&nbsp;<strong>two junta soldiers seriously wounded<\/strong>.
