ABSDF and Mandalay Region Revolutionary Forces to cooperate in anti-dictatorship activities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 22<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>All Burma Students\u2019 Democratic Front (ABSDF)<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Mandalay Region Revolutionary Forces (Man Sone Nyi)<\/strong>&nbsp;have jointly announced that they will cooperate in operations to dismantle the dictatorship and implement initiatives that benefit the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This joint statement follows their&nbsp;<strong>first online meeting<\/strong>&nbsp;held on&nbsp;<strong>August 21<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is learned that the meeting was attended by the ABSDF central executive delegation led by its Chairman,&nbsp;<strong>Ye Baw Than Khe<\/strong>, together with representatives of the Mandalay Region Revolutionary Forces (Man Sone Nyi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the discussion, ABSDF presented its experiences of the political and military landscape since the&nbsp;<strong>1988 People\u2019s Uprising<\/strong>&nbsp;through to the current&nbsp;<strong>Spring Revolution<\/strong>, as well as the situation and revolutionary activities that emerged after the&nbsp;<strong>2021 coup d\u2019\u00e9tat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Mandalay Region Revolutionary Forces (which include the Mandalay Committee Representing the Hluttaw and the Mandalay Anti-Dictatorship People\u2019s Coordination Committee) shared their ongoing preparations in the Mandalay region, covering&nbsp;<strong>political, military, humanitarian, public service, and international cooperation efforts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this exchange, both ABSDF and Man Sone Nyi agreed to work together in a&nbsp;<strong>systematic and practical manner<\/strong>&nbsp;on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>political affairs,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>international relations,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>humanitarian aid and public service,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>civilian defense, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>coordinated anti-dictatorship operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Both sides also agreed to continue&nbsp;<strong>sector-by-sector discussions<\/strong>&nbsp;in order to develop concrete methods of cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>2. Ten junta soldiers killed, four guns seized in attack near Myingyan Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 22<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At least&nbsp;<strong>10 junta soldiers were killed<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>four firearms seized<\/strong>&nbsp;during an ambush on military troops leaving&nbsp;<strong>Sone Village, Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region<\/strong>, according to a statement by&nbsp;<strong>Myingyan District Battalions No. 4 and 10<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack occurred around&nbsp;<strong>12 noon on August 21<\/strong>, when junta soldiers traveling out of Sone Village in&nbsp;<strong>one Tawlar Gyi truck and three motorbikes<\/strong>&nbsp;were ambushed by&nbsp;<strong>Myingyan District Battalions No. 4 and 10<\/strong>, together with allied groups including&nbsp;<strong>Mandalay District Battalion-5, Kyamin LPDF, Ngan Nget LPDF, North Shan LPDF, and Amarapura Pa Ka Pha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>Nwar Htoe Gyi PDF<\/strong>, the resistance forces managed to seize:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 G3 rifles,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 MA-11 rifle,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 magazines, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>16 rounds of G3 ammunition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eyewitnesses confirmed that around&nbsp;<strong>10 soldiers were killed<\/strong>&nbsp;in the attack.
