Airstrikes on Villages Along Kawlin\u2013Hteechaik Border Kill Three, Including a Revolutionary Fighter, and Injure Eight<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local sources, indiscriminate airstrikes by the military on villages along the border of&nbsp;<strong>Kawlin and Hteechaik townships in Sagaing Region<\/strong>&nbsp;killed&nbsp;<strong>three people, including one revolutionary fighter<\/strong>, and injured&nbsp;<strong>eight civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attacks reportedly targeted&nbsp;<strong>Khansa Village<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Sweya Village<\/strong>, located near the Thawra Company-owned&nbsp;<em>Kyauk Puthu Mineral Mine<\/em>, which has become one of the junta\u2019s current bases in eastern Kawlin Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kawlin Info reported that at around&nbsp;<strong>6:00 a.m. on August 20<\/strong>, a military&nbsp;<strong>Y-12 aircraft<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped nearly&nbsp;<strong>30 bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;over eastern Kawlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kawlin Revolution (KR) also confirmed that the junta did not launch ground offensives but instead carried out unprovoked aerial bombardments using a Y-12 transport plane deployed from&nbsp;<strong>Tada-U Air Base<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the airstrikes,&nbsp;<strong>one revolutionary fighter and three civilians were killed<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>eight others were injured<\/strong>, according to KR\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the three civilian casualties,&nbsp;<strong>two were internally displaced persons (IDPs)<\/strong>, and the other was a local resident of Sweya Village. KR further clarified that all of the injured are receiving medical treatment and are not currently in life-threatening condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KR records also recalled a previous incident on&nbsp;<strong>July 14<\/strong>, when a junta fighter jet from Tada-U Air Base carried out an&nbsp;<strong>unprovoked airstrike<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Doepin Village<\/strong>, located along the Shwebo\u2013Myitkyina highway. Battle Near Aungthapyay Village, Ye Township: One Junta Soldier Killed, One Revolutionary Fighter Martyred<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF)<\/strong>&nbsp;announced today that during clashes near&nbsp;<strong>Aungthapyay Village in northern Ye Township, Mon State<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>one junta soldier was killed<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>one revolutionary fighter sacrificed his life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, the battle occurred when junta columns from&nbsp;<strong>Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 588, Infantry Battalion (IB) 106, and Artillery Battalion (AB) 317<\/strong>&nbsp;advanced into the area. They were engaged by allied revolutionary forces under the&nbsp;<strong>Mon State Federal Council (MSFC) Defense Department<\/strong>, which included&nbsp;<strong>MSRF, Ye People\u2019s Defense Force (YPDF), and joint resistance forces<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>August 20<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two separate encounters occurred: the first between&nbsp;<strong>9:50 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.<\/strong>, and the second between&nbsp;<strong>5:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MSRF reported that in the first clash,&nbsp;<strong>one junta soldier was killed<\/strong>. In the second clash,&nbsp;<strong>a revolutionary fighter from the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) 27th Battalion, Column 1<\/strong>, fell heroically in battle for federal democracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coalition forces that took part in the engagement included&nbsp;<strong>MSRF, YPDF, the Ramanya Mon Army (RMA), and the KNLA 27th Battalion, Column 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;3. Two Civilians Killed in Kyaukpadaung Due to Military Drone Bombing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Kyaukpadaung Township, western Bago Region, two civilians were killed after the terrorist military carried out drone bombing attacks, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the evening of&nbsp;<strong>August 20, at around 7 p.m.<\/strong>, junta troops stationed at&nbsp;<strong>Alel Kone police outpost in Kyaukpadaung Township<\/strong>&nbsp;launched a drone bombing attack on&nbsp;<strong>Tharyinkone Village<\/strong>&nbsp;without any battle taking place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A bomb dropped from the drone landed on a house in Tharyinkone Village, destroying it.&nbsp;<strong>U Min Zaw (47)<\/strong>&nbsp;died instantly, while his wife,&nbsp;<strong>Daw Maw (49)<\/strong>, passed away on the way to the hospital, according to&nbsp;<em>Tharyarwaddy 8 City<\/em>, which monitors and reports local news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deceased couple left behind&nbsp;<strong>two children<\/strong>\u2014a son in&nbsp;<strong>Grade 12<\/strong>&nbsp;and a daughter in&nbsp;<strong>Grade 6<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Locals also report that the terrorist military has been shelling&nbsp;<strong>Tharyinkone Village and Aeyywalay Village in eastern Kyaukpadaung Township<\/strong>, as well as&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukkopein, Kywephyu Ma, and Ywar Shaung Villages<\/strong>&nbsp;in neighboring Okpho Township. Attack on 150-Soldier Convoy with 10 Vehicles from Dawei Leaves 11 Soldiers Dead, 3 Captured<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A junta convoy of&nbsp;<strong>10 vehicles carrying 150 soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;traveling from Dawei Township was ambushed, leaving&nbsp;<strong>11 soldiers dead and 3 captured alive<\/strong>, while weapons, ammunition, and military equipment were seized, according to a statement released today,&nbsp;<strong>August 21<\/strong>, by the&nbsp;<strong>Dawei National Liberation Army (DNLA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The convoy departing Dawei was ambushed by resistance forces at around&nbsp;<strong>12 noon on August 18<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack occurred near&nbsp;<strong>Be-Mae-Tat Taung (Be-Mae Mountain)<\/strong>, involving DNLA\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Durak Column<\/strong>&nbsp;and allied resistance groups. During the clash,&nbsp;<strong>4 junta soldiers were killed, around 10 injured<\/strong>, and the resistance seized&nbsp;<strong>one MA-1 rifle, two magazines, and other equipment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>August 19 at around 10 a.m.<\/strong>, another battle erupted with the same convoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This&nbsp;<strong>seven-hour-long battle<\/strong>&nbsp;resulted in&nbsp;<strong>7 more junta soldiers killed<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>3 captured alive as prisoners of war<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>10 military vehicles destroyed<\/strong>, according to DNLA\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 3 destroyed military vehicles, the resistance was able to seize&nbsp;<strong>four MA-1 rifles, one G-3 rifle, and related equipment<\/strong>. Three Men Arrested for Illegal Weapons Trade in Namhsan Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Township Police Force of Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (PSLF\/TNLA)<\/strong>&nbsp;announced today, August 21, that its police unit in&nbsp;<strong>Namhsan Township, northern Shan State<\/strong>, arrested&nbsp;<strong>three men involved in illegal weapons trading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the PSLF\/TNLA Information and Communications Department, the Township Police Force had received intelligence about ongoing weapons trade in&nbsp;<strong>Namhsan Township, under the jurisdiction of Ta\u2019ang Military Region No. 9<\/strong>.
