The statement said that during July, the military’s attacks killed civilians in Pekhon, Loikaw, Demoso, and Hpasawng Townships, and that one person was also arrested.

Reported property damage included 4 buildings destroyed in Loikaw, 7 in Demoso, 24 in Pekhon, and 14 in Hpasawng.

The KCSN noted that these casualties occurred after the junta recaptured Mobye on July 1 and subsequently escalated air and artillery attacks.
