They are using various means to secure victory in that election. The purpose of holding this election is solely to deceive and gain recognition from the international community. Conducting this election would reaffirm the 2008 Constitution, which grants the military a central role in politics, and would allow the military dictatorship to hold political leadership indefinitely. It will also escalate and intensify the ongoing conflicts in the country. Most importantly, holding the election will determine and seal the fate of the younger generations. Therefore, preventing this election from being held must be regarded as the responsibility of all Karen people,” he said.

He further stated that efforts to uproot the military dictatorship will continue in every possible way, working in unity from all fronts.

========================

📌📌 3.
