The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) has sent a message to mark the 75th Karen Martyrs\u2019 Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In its message, the CRPH stated that on this 75th Karen Martyrs\u2019 Day, it wishes for all Karen national leaders and the Karen people to unite in practically building a federal democratic union that can fully achieve the aspirations of the Karen martyrs\u2014liberty, equality, and the right to self-determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It noted that the future goal of the nation rests on the trust of the people and that each citizen must steadfastly fulfill their duties together to break free from the grip of the tyrannical military dictatorship. The CRPH also expressed that it will continue to work hand-in-hand with Karen national leaders and allied revolutionary forces, collaborating in their respective roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CRPH added that it takes pride in the fact that the Karen people and Karen revolutionary organizations continue to actively engage in the revolutionary struggle to this day, and it hopes they will continue to achieve further victories nationwide. With this in mind, the CRPH issued this 75th Karen Martyrs\u2019 Day message with great respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe prevention of the junta\u2019s election must be regarded as the responsibility of all Karen people,\u201d said Padoh Saw Kwe Htoo Win, Chairperson of the Karen National Union (KNU), on the occasion of the 75th Karen National Martyrs\u2019 Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe military dictatorship is preparing intensively to hold a nationwide election before the end of this year in accordance with the 2008 Constitution. They are using various means to secure victory in that election. The purpose of holding this election is solely to deceive and gain recognition from the international community. Conducting this election would reaffirm the 2008 Constitution, which grants the military a central role in politics, and would allow the military dictatorship to hold political leadership indefinitely. It will also escalate and intensify the ongoing conflicts in the country. Most importantly, holding the election will determine and seal the fate of the younger generations. Therefore, preventing this election from being held must be regarded as the responsibility of all Karen people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further stated that efforts to uproot the military dictatorship will continue in every possible way, working in unity from all fronts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sayadaw Min Thunya and fellow monks delivered food supplies to the comrades at the Ukrit Camp, which has been seized by revolutionary fighters, Sayadaw Min Thunya announced on August 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile delivering food supplies to the comrades at the Ukrit Camp\u2014where the comrades broke through and raised the flag after defeating the so-called \u2018Commander of the Cultural Art of Deception\u2019 Min Aung Hlaing\u2019s sham performance staged together with subordinates for propaganda\u2014we happened to arrive there,\u201d the Sayadaw said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sayadaw Min Thunya, along with the Buddhist University and fellow revolutionary monks, is also providing aid and support to war refugees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a report by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), 53% of educated youth in Myanmar wish to leave the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UNDP released a report concerning the situation of youth in Myanmar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was found that 4 out of every 10 young people in Myanmar want to leave the country due to economic collapse, ongoing conflict, and military conscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Myanmar Youth Survey 2024<\/em>\u2014which gathered the views of over 7,000 youth nationwide\u2014indicates that 53% of educated youth have the desire to emigrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Myanmar has been named in the preliminary list of the most polluted ASEAN countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is according to the Most Polluted ASEAN Countries by 2025 Mid-Year<\/em> ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Myanmar is estimated to be the most polluted country, with a pollution index of 89.8, while Singapore is considered the least polluted, with an index of 32.3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Most Polluted ASEAN Countries by 2025 Mid-Year<\/em> ranking takes into account factors such as air and water pollution, waste disposal and cleanliness, noise and light pollution, availability of green spaces, and overall pollution levels, compiling estimated rankings for major cities around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the coup by the terrorist military, environmental protection and impact considerations have been entirely neglected, with decisions made unilaterally and without regard for conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
