Discussions Held on Forming an Interim Government within the Sagaing Federal Unit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament convened its regular coordination meeting via video conference on August 5, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, participants discussed key issues including military and political operations being carried out within the Sagaing Federal Unit, the Parliament\u2019s current political engagement with ASEAN and neighboring countries, and the processes related to forming an interim government in accordance with the federal democratic principles. The objective of forming such a government is to contribute effectively to the success of the revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees of the meeting included the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament, members responsible from various parliamentary committees, and elected representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>2. PRF Announces List of Logistics Troops Awarded \u201cNo Absenteeism Honor Gift\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The People\u2019s Revolutionary Force (PRF) has released the list of logistics troops selected as recipients of the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cNo Absenteeism Honor Gift.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement stated,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn this difficult and turbulent revolutionary journey, we deeply respect and honor the logistics personnel who, despite the daily hardships, continue to serve diligently and unwaveringly. That is why we organized this recognition program.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PRF explained that although they would like to personally deliver honor gifts to each individual at their homes, logistical constraints and limitations must be understood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selected individuals will be receiving annual honor gifts corresponding to each \u201cNo Absenteeism\u201d year. As previously announced, all logistics personnel who participated in the program will also receive soft copies of the recognition materials via email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PRF further stated that it respectfully salutes each and every logistics personnel member who steadfastly stands behind the People&#8217;s Defense Forces and contributes with tireless dedication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>3. Communication Blackout Had Already Been Imposed in 51 Out of 63 Townships Declared Under Martial Law<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Voice Network, phone and internet communication lines had already been cut off in&nbsp;<strong>51 out of the 63 townships<\/strong>&nbsp;where the junta declared a state of emergency (martial law).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On July 31, junta leader Min Aung Hlaing, through the National Defense and Security Council, declared a state of emergency in&nbsp;<strong>63 townships<\/strong>&nbsp;across&nbsp;<strong>nine regions and states<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on data compiled by the Voice Network up to the end of June, the military junta had already imposed communication blackouts in 51 of these 63 townships even before the official declaration. The report also found that the junta had intentionally cut off communication lines in areas&nbsp;<strong>not under a state of emergency<\/strong>&nbsp;as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report highlights that, following the cut-off of communication lines, the junta has conducted&nbsp;<strong>ground operations and airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;targeting not only military entities but also&nbsp;<strong>civilian populations without distinction<\/strong>, thereby&nbsp;<strong>committing widespread violations of human rights<\/strong>&nbsp;in the affected areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>4.
