KNDF Battalion 14 Honours Fallen Comrade with Salute and Gunfire Tribute<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chant Myay Aung<\/strong>, a soldier of&nbsp;<strong>Karenni Nationalities Defence Force (KNDF) Battalion 14<\/strong>, heroically fell in battle on&nbsp;<strong>July 25, 2025<\/strong>, while serving on the frontlines during an attack by the military junta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chant Myay Aung had joined KNDF Battalion 14 on&nbsp;<strong>January 4, 2022<\/strong>, and since then, he had dutifully and bravely fulfilled all responsibilities entrusted to him. He was not only a capable and valiant fighter against the enemy but also someone who gave his life for the cause of establishing a federal democratic union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The KNDF has stated that he will always be remembered and honoured as a national martyr and hero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;On the occasion of Comrade Chant Myay Aung\u2019s martyrdom, we \u2013 his fellow soldiers \u2013 deeply mourn together with his surviving family members.
