Two Airstrikes Carried Out by Junta on Min Tat Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 4 \u2013 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Min Tat Township People&#8217;s Administration Team reported that the military junta carried out&nbsp;<strong>two aerial attacks<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Min Tat Town<\/strong>&nbsp;at around&nbsp;<strong>8:50 AM<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>August 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although no civilian casualties were reported, approximately&nbsp;<strong>10 buildings<\/strong>&nbsp;were damaged\u2014<strong>2 government offices<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>8 civilian homes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;2. Two Junta Soldiers Who Deserted at Min Hla Dam Captured<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 4 \u2013 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two junta soldiers who&nbsp;<strong>deserted from their post<\/strong>&nbsp;stationed at the&nbsp;<strong>Min Hla Dam<\/strong>, located within the&nbsp;<strong>Pegu-Yoma region of Oakpho Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Thayarwaddy District, Bago Region<\/strong>, were captured, according to Battalion 3802, Unit 5 of Thayarwaddy District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 29<\/strong>, around&nbsp;<strong>8:00 AM<\/strong>, the two deserters\u2014<strong>Saw Htoo Pho<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Saw Eh Kanya<\/strong>\u2014fled from their station and were later apprehended by Unit 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was learned that&nbsp;<strong>Saw Htoo Pho<\/strong>, originally from Oakpho Township, was forcibly conscripted by junta troops in&nbsp;<strong>Taung Thone Lone Ywar Thit<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>March 14<\/strong>. Similarly,&nbsp;<strong>Saw Eh Kanya<\/strong>, a native of&nbsp;<strong>Min Hla Township<\/strong>, was also abducted while cutting bamboo in&nbsp;<strong>Kyaing Pyin Gyi Village<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>March 28<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both had undergone&nbsp;<strong>basic military training (Batch 12)<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>Yay Mone Tat training school<\/strong>&nbsp;in Hsai Khu Township and were awaiting deployment to&nbsp;<strong>Rakhine State<\/strong>&nbsp;when they escaped together with four other new recruits during a stopover in&nbsp;<strong>Hlaing Township, Bahan Naung Military Base<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;3. Three Civilians Including a Child Killed in Junta Shelling in Hpakant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 4 \u2013 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fighting remains intense in&nbsp;<strong>Hpakant Township, Kachin State<\/strong>, and on the morning of&nbsp;<strong>August 4<\/strong>, junta forces shelled&nbsp;<strong>Myauk Phyu Village<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Hpakant Base<\/strong>, killing a&nbsp;<strong>5-year-old child<\/strong>&nbsp;and a&nbsp;<strong>35-year-old man<\/strong>, and injuring&nbsp;<strong>5 others<\/strong>, according to military sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, shelling on&nbsp;<strong>Shar Law Kha Village<\/strong>&nbsp;caused injuries to&nbsp;<strong>two more civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since&nbsp;<strong>August 2<\/strong>, junta forces have launched additional ground assaults toward&nbsp;<strong>Shwe Nyaung Pin Hill<\/strong>&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<strong>Aye Mya Thaya<\/strong>&nbsp;ward, with ongoing heavy exchanges of fire involving&nbsp;<strong>artillery, drones, and various weapons<\/strong>&nbsp;through to&nbsp;<strong>August 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;4. Three Women Injured in Jet Fighter Bombing in Kyaukme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 4 \u2013 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At&nbsp;<strong>10:23 AM<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>August 4<\/strong>, a junta&nbsp;<strong>jet fighter<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped a&nbsp;<strong>500-pound bomb<\/strong>&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<strong>Zay Thit market area in Ward 6<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukme<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>TNLA\u2019s Brigade 2 territory<\/strong>, Ta&#8217;ang region, according to TNLA reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The explosion injured three women:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daw Mi Mi Thwe (29 years old)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daw Mi Mi Yin (38 years old)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daw Aye Win (60 years old)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bombing also damaged:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 private high school (Daw Chaw School)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 clinic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3 houses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 vehicle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Between&nbsp;<strong>July 6 and August 3<\/strong>, junta airstrikes targeted&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukme<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>eight times<\/strong>, killing&nbsp;<strong>three men<\/strong>&nbsp;and injuring&nbsp;<strong>four women<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>thirteen men<\/strong>, while destroying&nbsp;<strong>42 homes<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>one school<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>one monastery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;5. Twelve Civilians Arrested During Night Raids in Western Gangaw and Shone Shi Villages<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 4 \u2013 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the night of&nbsp;<strong>August 3<\/strong>, junta troops launched a raid on&nbsp;<strong>Western Gangaw<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Shone Shi villages<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Gangaw Township, Magway Region<\/strong>, arresting&nbsp;<strong>12 civilians<\/strong>, according to&nbsp;<strong>Yoe Alin Tan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At&nbsp;<strong>10:00 PM<\/strong>, two military vehicles from&nbsp;<strong>LIB-50<\/strong>&nbsp;arrived at&nbsp;<strong>Laung Htaung checkpoint<\/strong>&nbsp;and entered&nbsp;<strong>Pyar Village<\/strong>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<strong>midnight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By around&nbsp;<strong>3:00 AM on August 4<\/strong>, junta troops from&nbsp;<strong>Shauk Pin Village outpost<\/strong>&nbsp;joined the column and stormed both&nbsp;<strong>Western Gangaw<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Shone Shi<\/strong>, capturing&nbsp;<strong>12 people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By&nbsp;<strong>6:30 AM<\/strong>, the troops split into two groups and withdrew to&nbsp;<strong>Shauk Pin Village<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>LIB-50 base in Gangaw<\/strong>, releasing&nbsp;<strong>2 women<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>We Love Gangaw bridge checkpoint<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, at&nbsp;<strong>10:50 AM<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Tilin-based junta forces<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped&nbsp;<strong>military supplies, rations, and ammunition<\/strong>&nbsp;to their troops via parachute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A&nbsp;<strong>Y-8 military transport aircraft<\/strong>&nbsp;from the&nbsp;<strong>Meiktila Air Base<\/strong>&nbsp;completed&nbsp;<strong>12 drops<\/strong>, delivering&nbsp;<strong>36 supply bundles<\/strong>&nbsp;to junta troops amid monsoon ration stockpiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;6. 18 of 19 Detained Youth Escape from Military Office in Min Hla<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August 4 \u2013 Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Min Hla Township, Bago Region<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>18 out of 19 detained youth<\/strong>&nbsp;escaped from a junta-run&nbsp;<strong>local administration office<\/strong>, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The escape occurred at night on&nbsp;<strong>August 2<\/strong>&nbsp;when the junta soldiers were not present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While one of the escapees has been recaptured,&nbsp;<strong>18 others remain at large<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta continues to&nbsp;<strong>conduct daily forcible abductions<\/strong>&nbsp;in villages across&nbsp;<strong>Min Hla Township<\/strong>, reportedly&nbsp;<strong>rounding up around 100 youth each July<\/strong>&nbsp;across&nbsp;<strong>Namhkam, Thibaw, and Mogok Townships<\/strong>, TNLA police arrested a total of&nbsp;<strong>38 individuals<\/strong>\u2014<strong>7 drug dealers<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>31 drug users<\/strong>, according to official TNLA reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Namhkam Township<\/strong>, during the fourth week of July, arrests heroin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>85 yaba tablets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 motorcycle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 phone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MMK 232,000 in cash<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 28<\/strong>, further arrests included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Users<\/strong>: U Htun Min Thu, U Aung San, U Thet Naing Oo, U Chan Thar, U Maung Kyaw<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with drugs, paraphernalia, 1 phone, and MMK 20,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Thibaw Township<\/strong>, during late July, drug dealers arrested included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U Aik Maung, U Kyaw, U San Phwar, Ko Pyae Sone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seized:&nbsp;<strong>6 small packets<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>109 stimulant tablets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Users<\/strong>&nbsp;arrested: Ko San Nyunt, U Aik Pi, U Aik Yan, U Aik Sine, Aung Thet Naing, Ko Maung Myint, Ko Pan Sein, Ko Zaw Win, and Ko Aik Kyant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Mogok Township<\/strong>, on&nbsp;<strong>August 1<\/strong>, a woman drug dealer named&nbsp;<strong>Daw Nadi<\/strong>&nbsp;was caught with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11 soap boxes of heroin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>15 yaba tablets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 phone<\/strong>&nbsp;and related items<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drug users&nbsp;<strong>U Htun Maung, U San Chaung, and U Kyaw Myo Aung<\/strong>&nbsp;were also arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>PSLF\/TNLA<\/strong>, legal action will be taken against
