U Kyaw Ni, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration under the National Unity Government (NUG), arrived in the Soe Moe region, a territory under NUG control, and held discussions with ethnic revolutionary leaders and public protest movement leaders, according to PVTV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U Kyaw Ni stated that in his discussions with ethnic revolutionary leaders, they addressed key issues such as strengthening the NUG as a federal government, enhancing cooperation with ethnic armed organizations, gaining international recognition from neighboring countries, and unifying efforts to accelerate the success of the revolution. He also mentioned that although each organization faces various pressures, they discussed systematic and collective approaches to address and overcome these challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, in his meetings with ground-level protest leaders, U Kyaw Ni said they discussed ways to implement community-building efforts in line with the revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAlthough we are resisting the terrorist military junta through armed struggle, political and civil mobilization efforts remain essential. We discussed how best to collaborate on these fronts,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While meeting with the public on the ground, the Deputy Minister noted that the people expressed full confidence in the NUG and hoped that it would effectively perform its governance responsibilities. At the same time, he said that the people made clear that although they are enduring the military junta\u2019s oppression with great resilience, they will not tolerate mismanagement or any form of repression by revolutionary forces against civilians in the long run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of July 31, 2025<\/strong>, the terrorist military junta has carried out 3,191 airstrikes<\/strong>, resulting in a total of 3,405 civilian deaths<\/strong>, according to a statement by the Ministry of Human Rights of the National Unity Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the deceased were 501 children under the age of 18<\/strong>. The airstrikes also destroyed 274 schools<\/strong>, 106 hospitals and clinics<\/strong>, and 483 religious buildings<\/strong>, the report stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, the junta forces have committed at least 413 massacres<\/strong>, in which 4,377 people<\/strong> were killed. Among those killed in these mass atrocities were 470 children under 18<\/strong> and 757 women<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, there have been 1,569 documented incidents of forced military conscription<\/strong>, involving a total of 30,429 individuals<\/strong>. The highest number of forced conscriptions occurred in Mandalay Region<\/strong>, followed by Rakhine State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report also stated that the junta has committed 20,198 human rights violations<\/strong> to date. The most prevalent violation was extrajudicial killings<\/strong>, with 4,714 cases<\/strong> recorded. Sagaing Region<\/strong> was identified as the region with the highest number of human rights abuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Township judges have been instructed to carry out their judicial responsibilities with balance, accuracy, and integrity. This guidance was given during a coordination meeting held on August 2<\/strong> between the Ministry of Justice of the National Unity Government<\/strong>, the Interim Judicial Administration Department<\/strong>, and township-level judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director General Daw May Poe<\/strong> of the Interim Judicial Administration Department emphasized the following points:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGiven the current heightened intensity of the political situation, township judges must execute their judicial duties in strict accordance with judicial ethics and impartiality. Court clerks must be appointed appropriately and assigned responsibilities accordingly. Supervisors must provide guidance and oversight to clerical staff. The role of clerks is especially important in managing court finances, and all operations regarding fines, bail, and related transactions must follow proper procedural and regulatory guidelines. In criminal cases involving detainees, the length of detention must be thoroughly reviewed and adjusted appropriately where necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
