On August 3 at 11:15 AM<\/strong>, the resistance forces reportedly launched a coordinated assault using three forward-positioned landmines (laid at a single point) and small arms fire, targeting one main vessel and ten accompanying motorized boats traveling along a stretch of the Chindwin River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack was jointly carried out by the Chindwin Fighter Group (CFG)<\/strong> and the Brave Heart Army (B.H.A)<\/strong>. Both groups managed to safely withdraw from the operation without sustaining any casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Details regarding casualties or damages on the junta\u2019s side are still under investigation, according to the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Palaw Township<\/strong> and Tanintharyi Township<\/strong>, located in Tanintharyi Region<\/strong>, military junta troops have launched incursions and conducted heavy artillery shelling, resulting in the deaths of 10 displaced civilians<\/strong>, according to the Tanintharyi Region Military Command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The junta has advanced into Strategic Zone 35<\/strong>, which falls under the command of the Tanintharyi Region Military Command. As a result, there have been widespread clashes between junta forces and local People\u2019s Defense Battalions, units, and columns<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, the 10 displaced civilians were reportedly killed during artillery shelling conducted by junta troops in Palaw Township<\/strong> while they were on the move to escape the fighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, in Tanintharyi Township<\/strong>, junta troops have abducted 10 civilians<\/strong> from villages along their route of advance and are allegedly attempting to force them into involuntary military service<\/strong>, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is further reported that as the junta troops push into various localities, they are engaging in a pattern of arbitrary arrests, forced labor, torture, extrajudicial killings<\/strong>, and theft of civilian property and belongings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The local People\u2019s Defense Forces under the Tanintharyi Region Military Command have issued a warning that they will launch attacks at any time<\/strong> on junta positions across their deployment areas. In light of this, civilians residing near key routes<\/strong>, including the Myeik\u2013Palaw Union Highway (Route No. 8)<\/strong> and the Myeik\u2013Boke Pyin Road<\/strong>, as well as nearby areas, have been advised to evacuate in advance<\/strong> and avoid close proximity to junta troops<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 3<\/strong>, the military junta launched an aerial attack on Hsipaw Town<\/strong>, located in the northern part of Shan State<\/strong>, which falls under the control of TNLA Brigade 2<\/strong>, according to a report from PSLF\/TNLA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airstrike took place at 2:22 PM<\/strong>, targeting the area of the former base of Infantry Battalion 23<\/strong>, with three 250-pound bombs<\/strong> dropped on the location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bombardment caused damage to a main hall<\/strong> and two nearby buildings<\/strong> within the former IB-23 compound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, one bomb reportedly fell near Ywar Thit Village<\/strong>, but it did not detonate, according to local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July<\/strong>, the junta had already carried out four separate airstrikes<\/strong> on Hsipaw without any accompanying ground clashes. Those strikes resulted in two civilian deaths<\/strong> and five injuries<\/strong>, according to available reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At approximately 3:35 PM on August 2<\/strong>, a junta navy warship fired heavy artillery shells into the area, and one of the shells exploded inside the residential compound of U Aung Htun<\/strong>, located in Jet Taw Ward No. 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The explosion damaged the roof of the house, although no civilian casualties<\/strong> were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two minutes later, at 3:37 PM<\/strong>, the warship fired another shell, which exploded behind the home of U Sein Aung Kyi<\/strong>, also in Ward No. 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement emphasized that during the revolution, the drone unit fighters have dedicated their full physical and emotional strength<\/strong> to the cause and have at times been unable to care for their families and loved ones<\/strong> due to their responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite financial constraints, the Gangaw District Drone Unit<\/strong> has continued to provide necessary support to its members by economizing on unit expenses.
