Junta Forces Fired a Total of 274 Artillery Shells and Dropped 6 Bombs in Mu Township Villages<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 29<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Karen National Union (KNU), in a single day on&nbsp;<strong>July 25, 2025<\/strong>, the terrorist military junta launched a deliberate assault in&nbsp;<strong>Mu Township, Hpa-an District<\/strong>, under the control of the KNU, firing a total of&nbsp;<strong>274 artillery shells<\/strong>&nbsp;into multiple villages and&nbsp;<strong>dropping 6 bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;via airstrikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, on&nbsp;<strong>July 27<\/strong>, junta troops also shot and killed an unarmed local civilian, the KNU Central Command stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The KNU reported the breakdown of the&nbsp;<strong>274 artillery rounds<\/strong>&nbsp;fired by the junta on July 25 as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>62 shells<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<em>Anyarsu Village<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>52 shells<\/strong>\u00a0between\u00a0<em>Ying Tike Kone Village<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Naung Kone Village<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>21 shells<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<em>Yay Lae Kayin\/Yay Lae Bamar Villages<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>31 shells<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<em>Eastern and Western Taung Su Villages<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>28 shells<\/strong>\u00a0between\u00a0<em>Myan Sein Lay Village<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Naw Taw Tar Village<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>32 shells<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<em>Lai Pa Village<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>18 shells<\/strong>\u00a0between\u00a0<em>Ka Gyi Seik Village<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Done Taw Village<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>8 shells<\/strong>\u00a0between\u00a0<em>Myat Yae Kayin\/Myat Yae Bamar Villages<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>22 shells<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<em>Nga Thwe Sout Village<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition,&nbsp;<strong>6 aerial bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;were dropped as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>2 bombs<\/strong>\u00a0between\u00a0<em>Ohnpinsu Village<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Yintain Kone Village<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2 bombs<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<em>Lai Pa Village<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2 bombs<\/strong>\u00a0between\u00a0<em>Nga Nwa Sake Village<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Anyarsu Village<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, on&nbsp;<strong>July 27, 2025<\/strong>, a soldier from&nbsp;<strong>Battalion 60<\/strong>&nbsp;of the junta\u2019s forces fatally shot&nbsp;<strong>Ko Tin Ko<\/strong>, a member of the People&#8217;s Defense Force from&nbsp;<em>Shan Chaung Village<\/em>, without provocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Junta Airstrikes in Moe Koe Killed 4 Civilians and Injured 9; Five Bombs Including 500-lb and 250-lb Types Dropped<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 29<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Ta&#8217;ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)<\/strong>, a series of airstrikes carried out by junta fighter jets in the&nbsp;<strong>eastern part of Moe Koe town<\/strong>&nbsp;in Ta&#8217;ang Region resulted in the deaths of&nbsp;<strong>four civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;and injuries to&nbsp;<strong>nine others<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack, which occurred&nbsp;<strong>this morning<\/strong>, targeted&nbsp;<strong>Min Tan Dar Ward<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Shwe Phon Thar Ward<\/strong>, and areas near the&nbsp;<strong>BOC Oil Tank Field<\/strong>&nbsp;in Moe Koe town. The junta dropped a total of&nbsp;<strong>five bombs<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>three 500-pound bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>two 250-pound bombs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the explosions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Four civilians<\/strong>\u00a0were killed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nine others<\/strong>\u00a0were injured<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eighteen homes<\/strong>\u00a0were damaged or destroyed due to the bomb blasts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The TNLA confirmed that this is not the first air attack in Moe Koe.
