\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 1. Civilian Killed and Religious Buildings Damaged in Katha Township Due to Indiscriminate Shelling by Military Fleet Along Ayeyarwady River<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Township People’s Administration Team, a military flotilla moving upstream along the Ayeyarwady River fired indiscriminately with heavy artillery as it passed through Katha Township<\/strong>, resulting in the death of one civilian and damage to religious structures, including pagodas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 25 July<\/strong>, a total of 17 vessels<\/strong> and accompanying advance boats that had departed from Gaungtan Port in Mandalay<\/strong> docked near Katha Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The military flotilla resumed movement on 26 July<\/strong>, and while passing through villages in the northern part of Katha, the vessels reportedly continued firing heavy artillery without pause<\/strong>, while also conducting aerial attacks<\/strong>\u2014at least two airstrikes by Jet Fighters<\/strong> and over 20 attacks by Y-12 aircraft<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of these assaults, religious buildings<\/strong>, including pagodas in Moetar Lay Village<\/strong>, were damaged, as reported by the Township People’s Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the reckless and indiscriminate attacks by the terrorist military forces<\/strong> resulted in the death of one civilian<\/strong>, with several others injured. Residential homes and other buildings were also reported to have been damaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current information is based on initial reports, and it is believed that the actual scale of damage and casualties on the ground may be even greater<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the flotilla believed to be heading toward Bhamo in Kachin State<\/strong>, revolutionary forces in the region have urged residents living along the Ayeyarwady River and especially those along the riverbanks to evacuate immediately and take shelter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The terrorist military<\/strong> launched airstrikes on the headquarters area of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization (PNLO)<\/strong> and its surrounding villages despite there being no armed conflict in the area<\/strong>, according to a statement released today (27 July) by the Pa-O National Liberation Army (PNLA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around 3:00 p.m. on 26 July<\/strong>, the military conducted four airstrikes<\/strong> using two Jet Fighters<\/strong>, targeting both the PNLO headquarters area and Naung Thaw Village<\/strong>, dropping bombs including 500-pound explosives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the attacks caused damage to civilian homes and buildings<\/strong>, the statement did not specify whether there were any civilian casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the airstrikes on the PNLO headquarters and Naung Thaw Village, a bomb was also dropped near Lwel Chay Lan Junction<\/strong>, where junta troops and junta-aligned PNO militia forces<\/strong> were stationed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PNLA also noted that this is not the first such incident\u2014according to their records, the junta military had previously launched no fewer than three airstrikes<\/strong> targeting the PNLO headquarters area and surrounding villages, which resulted in the destruction of civilian houses and public health facilities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A civilian was killed and nine others injured when the Myanmar military<\/strong> carried out an airstrike<\/strong> targeting a rural health clinic<\/strong> in Saphal Village<\/strong>, located in Pauk Township, Magway Region<\/strong>, according to the local civil society organization “Anyar Myay Myoain”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 26 July at around 4:00 PM<\/strong>, the military launched two air-dropped bombs<\/strong> from aircraft, despite the absence of any active combat in the area. The attack reportedly caused civilian casualties and property damage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, the clinic and several nearby homes were damaged<\/strong>, one civilian was killed, and nine others were injured<\/strong>. Among the injured, four individuals are in serious condition<\/strong>, the organization stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The military deliberately targeted the small rural health clinic and surrounding areas<\/strong> with aerial bombardment, despite no presence of fighting, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Given that the military continues to intentionally target civilians with airstrikes<\/strong>, the Anyar Myay Myoain civil society group has urged civilians to remain vigilant<\/strong>, avoid confrontation with advancing military columns, and take extreme caution in the face of aerial threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A monk was killed and another seriously injured when Myanmar\u2019s military<\/strong> conducted an airstrike<\/strong> on Palaw Town<\/strong> in Palaw Township, Tanintharyi Region<\/strong>, according to local news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 26 July<\/strong>, beginning at 8:00 AM and continuing into the afternoon<\/strong>, military aircraft repeatedly bombed Palaw Town<\/strong>, resulting in damage to civilian homes and the Thein Htaung Monastery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bombings caused one monk to lose his life<\/strong>, and another monk to sustain serious injuries<\/strong>, local reports confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news outlet Dawei Watch<\/strong>, which monitors developments in the area, reported that the military carried out four separate airstrikes on the same day<\/strong>, using jet fighters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to sources cited by Dawei Watch, one monk was killed instantly<\/strong>, and the other lost a leg<\/strong> due to the severity of the blast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although intense fighting has been occurring between junta forces and resistance groups in Palaw Township, residents have accused the junta of targeting non-combatant areas and civilians<\/strong> with indiscriminate bombings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
