Pyu Militias Attack Civilians Harvesting Crops in Thilon Village, Shwebo Township; Clashes Erupt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 21<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>Shwebo Crocodile<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Pyu militias<\/strong>&nbsp;stationed in&nbsp;<strong>Thilon Village (Pyu village), Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region<\/strong>, launched an attack on&nbsp;<strong>civilians who were harvesting crops<\/strong>&nbsp;in the southern farmland area, using both&nbsp;<strong>heavy and light weaponry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the morning of&nbsp;<strong>July 19 at around 10 a.m.<\/strong>, a coordinated strike was launched against the Pyu militia units using&nbsp;<strong>60mm mortars, machine guns, and small arms<\/strong>, in commemoration of Martyrs\u2019 Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clash lasted for approximately&nbsp;<strong>30 minutes<\/strong>, with&nbsp;<strong>Pyu reinforcements<\/strong>&nbsp;arriving from&nbsp;<strong>Pan Yone Pyu Village and Zee Phyu Kone Pyu Village<\/strong>, during which&nbsp;<strong>two RPGs were fired<\/strong>, though they did not cause damage, and the Pyu forces later&nbsp;<strong>withdrew<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Since January 21, 2024<\/strong>, Thilon Village has been&nbsp;<strong>under Pyu militia control<\/strong>, and many civilians who refused to live under their rule had&nbsp;<strong>fled to nearby areas<\/strong>. Junta Police Station in Let Hse, Seikphyu Township, Attacked by Resistance Forces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 21<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 17 at 4:30 a.m.<\/strong>, resistance forces led by&nbsp;<strong>Column 8<\/strong>&nbsp;launched a coordinated&nbsp;<strong>raid<\/strong>&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<strong>Let Hse Police Station<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Seikphyu Township, Magway Region<\/strong>, according to an official statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the attack, the resistance successfully&nbsp;<strong>captured four police barracks<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>four bunkers<\/strong>&nbsp;within the station. However, due to a&nbsp;<strong>shortage of ammunition<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>rapid arrival of junta reinforcements<\/strong>, they were&nbsp;<strong>forced to withdraw before securing the main building and two other bunkers<\/strong>, Column 8 reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the course of the battle:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Three resistance fighters<\/strong>\u00a0were injured.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two fighters<\/strong>\u00a0from allied forces, named\u00a0<strong>Bo Naga and Bo Saing Naung (a.k.a. Woman from Husan Village Killed by Landmine on Her Way to Tea Plantation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 21<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A woman from&nbsp;<strong>Husan Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Mongngaw Township<\/strong>, located within&nbsp;<strong>TNLA Brigade 1 territory in northern Shan State<\/strong>, was killed after stepping on a&nbsp;<strong>landmine<\/strong>&nbsp;while going to a tea plantation, according to a statement by&nbsp;<strong>PSLF\/TNLA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 15 at 11:20 a.m.<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Daw Aye Aye Win<\/strong>, aged&nbsp;<strong>28<\/strong>, stepped on a landmine near a tamarind tree while heading to work at a tea plantation. She&nbsp;<strong>died on the spot<\/strong>&nbsp;due to the explosion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her&nbsp;<strong>body was retrieved and properly buried<\/strong>&nbsp;with the assistance of&nbsp;<strong>village authorities<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>local residents<\/strong>, the report added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This follows a similar incident on&nbsp;<strong>June 29<\/strong>, in which&nbsp;<strong>another woman<\/strong>&nbsp;was killed by a landmine explosion while clearing a cornfield&nbsp;<strong>near Old Namsan Camp in Namkham Township<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6.
