Junta Conducts Nighttime Airstrike on Hsipaw Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)<\/strong>&nbsp;has reported that the&nbsp;<strong>Myanmar military junta<\/strong>&nbsp;carried out another airstrike on&nbsp;<strong>Hsipaw Town<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Military Region 2 of Ta\u2019ang territory<\/strong>, Shan State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report, on the night of&nbsp;<strong>July 20 at 10:20 PM<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>fighter jet dropped a 250-pound bomb<\/strong>&nbsp;on the site of a former junta military base,&nbsp;<strong>Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 23<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, on&nbsp;<strong>July 19<\/strong>, the junta conducted another airstrike using a jet fighter, dropping&nbsp;<strong>three 250-pound bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;on Hsipaw, which exploded in the&nbsp;<strong>Zatsut and Shwe Kyaung wards<\/strong>. These explosions caused damage to several buildings within an&nbsp;<strong>AMK (basic education) school compound<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TNLA further noted that the junta previously targeted Hsipaw with airstrikes on&nbsp;<strong>July 4<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>July 14<\/strong>&nbsp;as well. In these attacks, bombs were deliberately dropped in areas densely populated by civilians. Wanpalu Subdivision of Moebye People\u2019s Defense Force (Battalion 1) Celebrates Its 4th Anniversary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Wanpalu Subdivision<\/strong>&nbsp;of the&nbsp;<strong>Moebye People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF), Battalion 1<\/strong>, has celebrated its&nbsp;<strong>fourth founding anniversary<\/strong>, according to available reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wanpalu unit was formed shortly after the&nbsp;<strong>military coup on February 1, 2021<\/strong>, starting with peaceful protests and later participating in the seizure of the&nbsp;<strong>Moebye police station<\/strong>, which marked their first armed resistance efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the PDF grew in structure and strength, members of the&nbsp;<strong>Wanpalu unit<\/strong>&nbsp;were initially assigned duties in the&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Two-Hundred Thousand Bird&#8221; Division (Bat. 2)<\/strong>. With increasing personnel, Wanpalu evolved and was re-established as an independent&nbsp;<strong>Battalion-level unit<\/strong>&nbsp;within the Moebye PDF structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite numerous hardships, the unit has continued to grow, thanks to&nbsp;<strong>the support of the public<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>logistics teams<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>relentless determination of its fighters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A representative from the unit expressed deep gratitude, stating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe, the Wanpalu Subdivision, are sincerely thankful to each and every supporter who has always been ready to fulfill our needs without hesitation. Resistance Forces Ambush Junta Column Departing from Kula Shin Village in Natmauk Township, Resulting in Casualties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 19<\/strong>, resistance fighters launched a&nbsp;<strong>mine attack<\/strong>&nbsp;on a&nbsp;<strong>junta military column<\/strong>&nbsp;that had departed from&nbsp;<strong>Kula Shin Village<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Natmauk Township, Magway Region<\/strong>. The attack resulted in&nbsp;<strong>casualties on the junta side<\/strong>, according to a confirmation from&nbsp;<strong>Thayet District Battalion 3 \u2013 Ngapyayma Force<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the initial ambush, resistance fighters continued to engage the junta forces.
