Military Conducts Another Airstrike on Hsipaw, Damaging School Buildings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 20<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PSLF\/TNLA\u2019s Information and Public Relations Department reported today, July 20, that Myanmar\u2019s military conducted another aerial bombing on Hsipaw Town, located in northern Shan State and under the control of the PSLF\/TNLA (Palaung State Liberation Front \/ Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army), resulting in damage to school buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report, the attack occurred at approximately&nbsp;<strong>11:45 p.m. on July 19<\/strong>&nbsp;(Martyrs\u2019 Day), when a military jet dropped three 250-pound bombs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bombs exploded in&nbsp;<strong>Zatsu Ward<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Shwe Kyaung Ward<\/strong>, causing damage to school buildings located within&nbsp;<strong>Basic Education Primary School No. 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local news agencies reported that before bombing Zatsu Ward and Shwe Kyaung Ward, the military had first dropped bombs on a staff housing unit within Hsipaw Prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No civilian casualties were reported in this attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, previous airstrikes by the military junta on Hsipaw\u2014one on&nbsp;<strong>July 4<\/strong>&nbsp;and another on&nbsp;<strong>July 14<\/strong>\u2014were deliberately aimed at civilian areas, resulting in&nbsp;<strong>two civilian deaths<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>five injuries<\/strong>, and the destruction of&nbsp;<strong>13 homes<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>6 buildings<\/strong>, according to PSLF\/TNLA records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the ongoing, deliberate attacks on civilians by the junta, the TNLA urges the public to remain vigilant, follow airstrike defense protocols, and take all necessary precautions to avoid harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;2. Two Military Boats Destroyed, Two Soldiers Killed in Attack on Junta Naval Convoy on the Chindwin River<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 20<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Salingyi Special Task Force (SSTF), Battalion 14\/15<\/strong>&nbsp;of Yinmarbin District, reported today that two military vessels were damaged and two junta soldiers were killed during a coordinated attack on a junta naval convoy advancing northward along the&nbsp;<strong>Chindwin River<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Ahlone Jetty<\/strong>&nbsp;in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 14<\/strong>&nbsp;at around&nbsp;<strong>5:00 a.m.<\/strong>, approximately&nbsp;<strong>30 boats<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>4 warships<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>supply barges<\/strong>, began moving upriver.
