Over 80 Junta Troops Killed in Battles at Sapae Gyi Creek and Kha Chin Hill in Minhla Township; One Resistance Fighter Killed During Tactical Retreat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 13 at 1:40 PM<\/strong>, a tactical strike was launched by&nbsp;<strong>Tharyarwaddy District Battalion 3802, Unit 5<\/strong>, targeting junta forces stationed at&nbsp;<strong>Sapae Gyi Creek<\/strong>, located within the administrative boundary of&nbsp;<strong>Minhla Township<\/strong>, Bago Region. The clash lasted for around&nbsp;<strong>two hours<\/strong>, during which&nbsp;<strong>30 junta soldiers were reportedly killed<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>many others were wounded<\/strong>, according to an official report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to their losses, the junta launched a&nbsp;<strong>counteroffensive<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>July 14 at around 7:30 AM<\/strong>, deploying approximately&nbsp;<strong>400 troops<\/strong>&nbsp;to assault&nbsp;<strong>Kha Chin Hill<\/strong>&nbsp;via multiple strategic positions:&nbsp;<strong>U Tin Lone Taung<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>48 Bawk<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Kha Chin Hill<\/strong>&nbsp;itself. The confrontation escalated into&nbsp;<strong>three separate battles<\/strong>&nbsp;lasting until&nbsp;<strong>4 PM<\/strong>&nbsp;that evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta also conducted relentless&nbsp;<strong>artillery shelling<\/strong>&nbsp;and dropped bombs using&nbsp;<strong>three drones<\/strong>, forcing the resistance fighters to&nbsp;<strong>tactically withdraw from the Kha Chin Hill base<\/strong>, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, more than&nbsp;<strong>50 junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;were killed and many injured in the battles on that day. On the resistance side,&nbsp;<strong>comrade Zar Mani<\/strong>&nbsp;was killed by a&nbsp;<strong>drone strike<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>seven others were injured<\/strong>. Seven Resistance Fighters from Southern Eagle PDF Killed During the Spring Revolution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been reported that&nbsp;<strong>seven resistance fighters from Battalion P29909, Southern Eagle PDF<\/strong>, have died so far during the ongoing&nbsp;<strong>Spring Revolution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 19, 1947, at 10:37 AM<\/strong>, General Aung San and other key Martyrs were assassinated. In remembrance,&nbsp;<strong>Southern Eagle PDF issued a statement<\/strong>&nbsp;paying respects to General Aung San and his fellow fallen Martyrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group also expressed reverence for the&nbsp;<strong>modern-day Martyrs<\/strong>&nbsp;who have&nbsp;<strong>bravely given their lives<\/strong>&nbsp;in the struggle to bring down the&nbsp;<strong>military dictatorship<\/strong>&nbsp;as part of the current revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of today,&nbsp;<strong>seven resistance fighters from Southern Eagle PDF<\/strong>&nbsp;have been confirmed killed in action since the beginning of the Spring Revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;3. Junta Bombs Theintawgon Monastery in Aung Thar Village, Nawnghkio Township; One Monk Injured<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 19<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>Nawnghkio Journal<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>junta launched an airstrike<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Theintawgon Monastery<\/strong>, located to the west of&nbsp;<strong>Aung Thar Village<\/strong>, Nawnghkio Township, Mandalay Region.
