In Hpasawng, Karenni State, the final remaining military base of the junta\u2019s Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 135<\/strong> is currently under assault as part of the ongoing battle to retake Hpasawng town, according to the Central Region Special Operations Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 7<\/strong>, resistance forces launched an offensive on LIB 135, during which the Central Region Special Operations Force captured two junta soldiers alive<\/strong>. Other allied revolutionary groups are also reported to have captured junta personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the battles to seize LIB 134 and LIB 135<\/strong> in Hpasawng, ten soldiers<\/strong> from the Central Region Special Operations Force were injured and are now receiving medical treatment. Allied units also sustained casualties in the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since late 2024, the Central Region Special Operations Force has been conducting joint military operations with local resistance allies in the Bawlakhe\u2013Hpasawng theater. It was noted that a member of the force was killed during these operations on December 30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At approximately 8:40 a.m. on July 12, 2025<\/strong>, junta troops based at the large monastery in northern Puzon Myaung Village<\/strong>, Nyaung Lay Pin Township<\/strong>, launched an assault using RPGs (40mm) and 60mm mortar rounds<\/strong> toward Tawyar Lay Monastery<\/strong>, according to a statement from Fire Dragon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As junta troops advanced, they clashed directly with fighters from Battalion 3703<\/strong>, leading to an intense firefight. Meanwhile, junta reinforcements from LIB 20<\/strong>, based in Nyaung Lay Pin, provided artillery support, and drone-dropped munitions were launched from the Tarpyat Bridge checkpoint<\/strong>, sources said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The battle reportedly ended around 12:00 noon<\/strong>, with confirmation that one junta officer was killed<\/strong> in the fighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on July 14<\/strong>, resistance fighters carried out a strike on junta forces and Pyu Saw Htee militia members who were stationed inside Zee Kone High School No. 1<\/strong>, Kantbalu Township<\/strong>, according to a release by the DU WON PDF<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operation resulted in four junta troops killed<\/strong>, while one managed to escape<\/strong>. Resistance forces reportedly seized two carbines<\/strong>, one AK rifle<\/strong>, and two communication devices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack was jointly carried out by the Bo Yatha (aka Bo Paing Chay) unit<\/strong> of the Kantbalu District People\u2019s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha)<\/strong> and the DU WON PDF (Jajja Revolutionary Force)<\/strong> of Yay Oo Sub-district<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Saikphyu Township<\/strong>, Magway Region, a convoy of four junta vehicles departing from the Tanyaung Power Sub-Station<\/strong> was hit by a landmine attack, resulting in seven deaths<\/strong>, according to a statement from the Thakhin Phoe Hla Gyi Battalion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident occurred on July 10<\/strong>, when a convoy of about 50 troops<\/strong> leaving from Saikphyu was targeted with landmines. As a result, seven junta personnel were killed<\/strong>, and three others were seriously injured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, at around 10:35 p.m.<\/strong>, junta troops retaliated by shelling the power sub-station and surrounding hidden posts<\/strong> using 60mm mortars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During that shelling, five junta soldiers were injured<\/strong>, and three of them later died<\/strong> from their wounds, the report added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attacks were jointly carried out by the Thakhin Phoe Hla Gyi (Chauk) Battalion<\/strong> and Company 1\/2 of Battalion 4, Pakokku District<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around 1:00 a.m. on July 14, 2025<\/strong>, the terrorist military junta launched three airstrikes<\/strong> on locations within Demoso Township<\/strong>, according to a statement from CTER-Karenni<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the air raids, two civilians were injured<\/strong>, and a civilian clinic<\/strong>, two buildings<\/strong>, and a vehicle<\/strong> were damaged or destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strikes targeted three separate locations<\/strong>, and 200-pound bombs<\/strong> were reportedly used in the attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Kawlin Township<\/strong>, Sagaing Region, an airstrike by junta forces injured four civilians<\/strong>, including one child<\/strong>, according to a statement released by the Kawlin People\u2019s Defense Force<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At approximately 4:38 a.m. on July 14<\/strong>, a jet fighter from the Tanta-U Air Force Base<\/strong> carried out an airstrike near Doepin Village<\/strong>, located in the eastern part of Kawlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack left a young child<\/strong>, one woman<\/strong>, and two men<\/strong> injured, with one of the victims reportedly in critical condition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, two fuel tanker trucks<\/strong>, one rice shop<\/strong>, and other property were damaged or destroyed<\/strong>, resulting in significant losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on July 14, 2025<\/strong>, the terrorist junta launched another airstrike<\/strong> in Mawkhi, Karenni State<\/strong>, according to a statement from CTER-Karenni<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack reportedly killed six civilians<\/strong>\u2014five women<\/strong> and one man<\/strong>, while three others were injured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marked the eighth aerial bombardment<\/strong> on Mawkhi Town<\/strong>, with the cumulative death toll from these attacks reaching 30 civilians<\/strong>, the report noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, at least 15 civilians<\/strong>, including children, have been killed in junta airstrikes in Karenni State<\/strong> during the month of July alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The terrorist junta conducted another airstrike<\/strong> on Hsipaw<\/strong>, a town in northern Shan State<\/strong> under the control of the TNLA (Ta’ang National Liberation Army)<\/strong>, resulting in two civilian deaths<\/strong> and two injuries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around 6:00 p.m. on July 14<\/strong>, a junta fighter jet dropped two bombs<\/strong> near a mobile phone shop and a beauty salon named Shwe Lone<\/strong>, located along the Lashio\u2013Mandalay Road<\/strong> in Hsipaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shop owner<\/strong> of Shwe Lone and a trishaw driver<\/strong> who was in front of the shop were both killed in the bombing. Of the two people injured<\/strong>, one is in critical condition<\/strong>, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, on July 4<\/strong>, the junta had dropped two 250-pound bombs<\/strong> on Hsipaw, damaging at least five government buildings<\/strong> and eight homes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 9. Two Fighters from KNDF Battalion 15 Killed in Battles in Bawlakhe and Hpasawng<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two soldiers from Battalion 15 of the Karenni Nationalities Defence Force (KNDF)<\/strong> were killed in recent battles in Bawlakhe<\/strong> and Hpasawng<\/strong> towns, the group announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Khun Heh Dee Lin<\/strong> (aka Jason<\/strong>) was killed in action on March 20<\/strong>, during a coordinated assault on a junta military outpost as part of an operation in Bawlakhe<\/strong>, when junta forces launched an airstrike during the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, Saw Sar Bwel Mu<\/strong> (aka Khut Htio Yel<\/strong>) was killed in Hpasawng<\/strong> on June 23<\/strong>, while serving in a combat operation, when he was targeted by a junta drone strike<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, during four months of combat operations<\/strong> in Hpasawng and Bawlakhe<\/strong>, KNDF Battalion 15<\/strong> has lost two comrades<\/strong>, with one fighter severely wounded<\/strong> and twelve others injured<\/strong>, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KNDF Battalion 15 expressed deep condolences to the families of the fallen and stated that the two fighters will be eternally honored and remembered as revolutionary martyrs and national heroes<\/strong> who sacrificed their lives with unwavering commitment to the revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
