SAC Air Force Launches Another Bombing in Mogok, Injuring 6 Civilians Including 2 Children \u2014 TNLA Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a report released by the Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), a renewed airstrike by the junta&#8217;s military in&nbsp;<strong>Mogok<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Military Region 4<\/strong>&nbsp;of Ta\u2019ang territory, has&nbsp;<strong>injured six civilians, including two children<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident occurred&nbsp;<strong>last night around 10:30 p.m.<\/strong>, when a&nbsp;<strong>jet fighter of the military junta dropped a 500-pound bomb near Panma Taik<\/strong>. The explosion&nbsp;<strong>injured two children, one woman, and three men<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>six houses were also damaged<\/strong>&nbsp;due to the bomb\u2019s impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly,&nbsp;<strong>earlier that same morning<\/strong>, another airstrike was carried out in&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukme<\/strong>, during which&nbsp;<strong>four bombs were dropped<\/strong>, injuring&nbsp;<strong>one woman<\/strong>&nbsp;and damaging&nbsp;<strong>two homes<\/strong>&nbsp;as well as a&nbsp;<strong>dried fruit processing factory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Between&nbsp;<strong>June 29 and the morning of July 13<\/strong>, the SAC conducted&nbsp;<strong>nine aerial bombardments<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>6 in Kyaukme<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 in Naungcho Township (at Thone Se Village)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 in Mogok<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 in Hsipaw<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of these attacks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>7 civilians, including children, were killed<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2 children and 34 other civilians were injured<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>52 homes, 1 school, and 4 Buddhist monasteries<\/strong>\u00a0were damaged or destroyed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Multiple Junta Soldiers Defect to DPLA Amid Fighting in Naungcho Frontline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On July 14, it was officially confirmed that a&nbsp;<strong>significant number of junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;stationed at&nbsp;<strong>Taung Kham<\/strong>&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<strong>Naungcho frontline<\/strong>&nbsp;have&nbsp;<strong>defected to the Democratic People&#8217;s Liberation Army (DPLA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since&nbsp;<strong>June 24<\/strong>, there has been&nbsp;<strong>intense ongoing fighting<\/strong>&nbsp;between the&nbsp;<strong>DPLA<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>TNLA<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>junta forces<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Naungcho Township and surrounding areas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the DPLA,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA large group of junta troops at the Taung Kham frontline in Naungcho, equipped with full arms and equipment, defected to the DPLA last June.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also reported that&nbsp;<strong>many of the junta troops stationed on the Naungcho frontline had been previously subjected to forced conscription (Portar Swe)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plans are underway to facilitate&nbsp;<strong>the safe return of the defected troops to their hometowns<\/strong>&nbsp;based on their own wishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Battalion Commander of LIB-104 Defects to the People, Rejecting Junta System<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lieutenant Colonel Zaw Zaw Aung<\/strong>, commander of a mobile unit under&nbsp;<strong>Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 104<\/strong>, operating around&nbsp;<strong>Laung Lone<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Nat Ein Taung<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Amyaung Kone<\/strong>, has&nbsp;<strong>defected from the military junta to join the public<\/strong>, citing his inability to accept the junta\u2019s current system and practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was announced by the&nbsp;<strong>Karen National Union (KNU) Myeik\u2013Dawei District Office<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>July 13<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lt. Col. Zaw Zaw Aung (DSA intake 52) coordinated his defection through&nbsp;<strong>Major Myo Swe Oo @ Saw Moe Set<\/strong>, who had previously defected on&nbsp;<strong>July 2<\/strong>, and officially joined the&nbsp;<strong>KNLA Brigade 4, Battalion 10<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>KNLA\u2019s Brigade 4<\/strong>&nbsp;has welcomed his defection&nbsp;<strong>with appreciation and warmth<\/strong>, recognizing it as a courageous and honorable move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4.
