It was announced that the second challenge of the \u201cVictory Echo \u2013 Shan-Rakhine-Karenni\u201d MMK 10 Million Campaign, titled \u201cShall We Bid for the Strategist?\u201d<\/strong>, has now reached 58% completion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, the \u201cStrategist\u2019s MMK 5 Million Challenge\u201d<\/strong> has reached the 58% milestone. The organizers shared that,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOnly 42% remains to be completed, and our page messenger is looking forward to everyone\u2019s collective effort to push it across the finish line.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They further called for public support to help the campaign\u2019s 72-hour MMK 5 Million Challenge<\/strong> succeed, in honor of their \u201cStrategist\u201d \u2013 a leader without formal military training, but who possesses exceptional strategic acumen and dignified leadership that commands respect and admiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the Ministry of Women, Youth and Children\u2019s Affairs, Myanmar Humanitarian Aid<\/strong> has donated food supplies to civilians displaced by war in Sagaing, Magway, and Bago regions<\/strong>, according to an announcement by the Ministry this July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to escalating conflicts since the end of May, over 110,000 civilians<\/strong> have fled their homes in Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Tanintharyi regions, and southern Shan State.
According to UN OCHA Myanmar<\/strong>, the nationwide number of internally displaced persons (IDPs)<\/strong> is now estimated at approximately 3.5 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two earthquakes struck near Kyaingtong Township<\/strong>, Shan State, in the early hours of this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first tremor occurred on July 14, 2025, at approximately 6:31 a.m. Myanmar Standard Time<\/strong>, centered 10 kilometers underground near Kyaingtong<\/strong>, and measured Magnitude 4.6<\/strong> on the Richter scale, with moderate intensity, according to a press release from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the NUG<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A second quake followed at approximately 7:03 a.m.<\/strong>, with the same epicenter depth of 10 kilometers<\/strong>, measuring a slightly weaker Magnitude 4.0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ministry has issued public advisories urging residents to act in accordance with recommended earthquake preparedness guidelines \u2014 to take precautions, remain alert, and prioritize safety to minimize damage or loss of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
