Four Civilians Injured as Terrorist Junta Drops 250-Pound Bombs on Thabeikkyin Township from the Air<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The terrorist military conducted airstrikes on villages in&nbsp;<strong>Thabeikkyin Township<\/strong>, Mandalay Region, dropping&nbsp;<strong>250-pound bombs<\/strong>, injuring&nbsp;<strong>four civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;and destroying&nbsp;<strong>four homes<\/strong>, according to the People&#8217;s Defense Organization of Pyin Oo Lwin District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airstrike was carried out by a jet fighter launched from the&nbsp;<strong>Meiktila-Shante Air Base<\/strong>, under the control of the junta forces, targeting&nbsp;<strong>Laitkya Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in Thabeikkyin Township at&nbsp;<strong>7:18 PM<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>July 12<\/strong>, dropping a single 250-pound bomb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of this attack, a&nbsp;<strong>16-year-old girl<\/strong>&nbsp;sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subsequently, at&nbsp;<strong>7:22 PM<\/strong>, another airstrike targeted&nbsp;<strong>Zayatkwin Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in the same township, where another&nbsp;<strong>250-pound bomb<\/strong>&nbsp;was dropped. This second attack injured&nbsp;<strong>three civilians<\/strong>\u2014<strong>one man and two women<\/strong>\u2014with non-life-threatening injuries, and&nbsp;<strong>four civilian homes<\/strong>&nbsp;were reported destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The terrorist junta had also attacked&nbsp;<strong>Zayatkwin Village<\/strong>&nbsp;earlier on&nbsp;<strong>July 5<\/strong>, injuring&nbsp;<strong>two male civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 6<\/strong>, the junta also launched&nbsp;<strong>two airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;using&nbsp;<strong>cluster munitions<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Golf Course (29) Field<\/strong>&nbsp;in Thabeikkyin Township, although no civilian casualties were reported in that incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to these repeated attacks, the People&#8217;s Defense Organization of Pyin Oo Lwin District and local revolutionary forces have urged civilians to&nbsp;<strong>distance themselves from junta positions<\/strong>&nbsp;and to&nbsp;<strong>dig and prepare bomb shelters<\/strong>&nbsp;to protect against aerial assaults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Junta Launches Another Airstrike on Kyaukme City, Injuring One Woman and Damaging Homes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the morning of&nbsp;<strong>July 13<\/strong>, the military carried out another airstrike on&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukme City<\/strong>, located in northern Shan State and currently under the control of the&nbsp;<strong>Ta&#8217;ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)<\/strong>. The strike injured&nbsp;<strong>one woman<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>damaged multiple homes<\/strong>, according to local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta reportedly dropped&nbsp;<strong>four bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;during the early morning hours, targeting several locations including a&nbsp;<strong>school<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attacks occurred at&nbsp;<strong>6:08 AM<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>6:14 AM<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>6:19 AM<\/strong>, striking the&nbsp;<strong>Basic Education Primary School No. 13<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Painnakone area<\/strong>&nbsp;along the&nbsp;<strong>Mantnarr-Kyauktoung junction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two of the bombs fell near residential areas close to the school. Although the bombs landed near homes,&nbsp;<strong>no injuries<\/strong>&nbsp;were reported in that specific area, a local resident said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, according to other local sources, one woman was injured and&nbsp;<strong>seven homes<\/strong>&nbsp;were damaged by bomb shrapnel during the attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta had also bombed neighborhoods in Kyaukme on&nbsp;<strong>July 6<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>July 8<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>July 11<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the airstrike on the morning of&nbsp;<strong>July 11<\/strong>, bombs were dropped near&nbsp;<strong>Kawli Hotel<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>District Police Commander\u2019s Office<\/strong>, killing&nbsp;<strong>one civilian<\/strong>&nbsp;and injuring&nbsp;<strong>five others<\/strong>. Similarly, the July 8 airstrike resulted in&nbsp;<strong>one civilian death<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>four injuries<\/strong>, according to documented reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, at the end of&nbsp;<strong>June<\/strong>, the junta launched&nbsp;<strong>two separate airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;on Kyaukme, killing&nbsp;<strong>five civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;and injuring another&nbsp;<strong>five<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The military continues to carry out&nbsp;<strong>frequent air raids<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukme, Hsipaw, and Mogok townships<\/strong>, which are under the control of the TNLA, resulting in&nbsp;<strong>civilian deaths and injuries<\/strong>&nbsp;among innocent populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Resistance Fighter from SSNDF\/KNDF Battalion 102 Killed in Battle to Capture Hpasawng Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A resistance fighter from&nbsp;<strong>Battalion 102<\/strong>&nbsp;under&nbsp;<strong>Strategic Command 9<\/strong>&nbsp;of the&nbsp;<strong>Karenni Nationalities Defence Force (KNDF)<\/strong>&nbsp;was killed in action during the battle to capture&nbsp;<strong>Hpasawng Town<\/strong>, according to an official statement from Battalion 102.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fallen fighter, identified as&nbsp;<strong>Cholwin Moe (aka Lwin Moe)<\/strong>, aged&nbsp;<strong>23<\/strong>, died on&nbsp;<strong>July 5<\/strong>&nbsp;during the offensive in&nbsp;<strong>Hpasawng<\/strong>, Karenni State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, the soldier had dutifully fulfilled his responsibilities and sacrificed his life with honor in pursuit of a&nbsp;<strong>federal democratic system<\/strong>, and will be recorded as a&nbsp;<strong>martyr and national hero<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SSNDF\/KNDF Battalion 102 stated that the&nbsp;<strong>unfinished duties<\/strong>&nbsp;of their fallen comrades would be carried forward by fellow resistance fighters in the revolutionary struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Karenni Joint Revolutionary Forces<\/strong>&nbsp;launched an offensive on&nbsp;<strong>June 25<\/strong>&nbsp;against two junta military bases\u2014<strong>Light Infantry Battalions 134 and 135<\/strong>, based in Hpasawng. By&nbsp;<strong>June 30<\/strong>, they had successfully overrun and captured the&nbsp;<strong>LIB-134 base<\/strong>, according to military records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, intense fighting continues as the joint Karenni forces persist with their assault on the remaining junta-held&nbsp;<strong>LIB-135 base<\/strong>&nbsp;in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. At Least Four Junta Personnel Injured in Attack on Military Garrison Based at Kyauktine Rural Health Center in Minhla Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At least&nbsp;<strong>four junta personnel<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>an officer<\/strong>, were reportedly injured when revolutionary forces attacked a junta garrison stationed at the&nbsp;<strong>Kyauktine Rural Health Center<\/strong>&nbsp;located near the&nbsp;<strong>Pathien\u2013Monywa Highway<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Minhla Township<\/strong>, part of&nbsp;<strong>Thayet District<\/strong>, Magway Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack was carried out using&nbsp;<strong>locally made 60 mm bombs<\/strong>, targeting approximately&nbsp;<strong>35 junta troops<\/strong>&nbsp;stationed at the health center, according to an official statement issued on&nbsp;<strong>July 13<\/strong>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<strong>Thayet District\u2019s No. 1 Battalion<\/strong>, under the No. 1 Military Sub-District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The assault, conducted on&nbsp;<strong>July 11<\/strong>, was jointly led by the&nbsp;<strong>Thayet District Military Office of the People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>No. 4 Battalion<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Drone Unit Platoon 1<\/strong>, in coordination with&nbsp;<strong>Minhla Township PDF<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The joint resistance forces carried out&nbsp;<strong>two bombing strikes<\/strong>&nbsp;using&nbsp;<strong>combat drones<\/strong>: the first occurred at&nbsp;<strong>1:22 PM<\/strong>&nbsp;with two 60 mm homemade bombs, and the second at&nbsp;<strong>1:50 PM<\/strong>, again with two 60 mm bombs.
