\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 1. KNLA Joint Forces Seize Ukarit Main Military Base, Previously Used for Propaganda Film \u201cLiving Fence\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA)<\/strong> and allied resistance forces successfully attacked and seized control of the Ukarit military base<\/strong>, a major logistics hub of the military junta, located along the Waw Lay \u2013 Myawaddy road<\/strong> on the Thai-Myanmar border<\/strong>, according to a statement from Cobra Column 2 VENOM<\/strong>. Following the takeover, the Karen National flag was hoisted over the base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukarit base gained notoriety as the filming location for the junta\u2019s propaganda film titled \u201cLiving Fence.\u201d<\/strong> The base was captured at approximately 12:00 noon on July 12<\/strong> by combined KNLA and allied columns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from July 3<\/strong>, drone units and ground assault teams had surrounded and attacked the base. Eventually, junta troops abandoned the post and fled, reports say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Thailand\u2019s AEC News Agency<\/strong>, more than 100 junta troops fled across the border into Thailand<\/strong>, unable to withstand the intensity of the KNLA\u2019s offensive. The Thai military reportedly detained them for security screening, provided medical care to the wounded, and offered humanitarian support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The assault on Ukarit base was jointly carried out by Strategic Battalion 32<\/strong> under the command of Bo Darbo<\/strong>, KNLA Joint Forces, and Cobra Column 2 VENOM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Numerous weapons were seized during the operation, and some bodies of junta soldiers were also found, according to a statement by VENOM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 2. Naypyitaw Thawatti Police Station Attacked with 79mm Shells<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main police station in Thawatti<\/strong>, within the Naypyitaw Council Territory<\/strong>, was attacked using 79mm (40mm) mortar rounds<\/strong>, according to a statement by the Black Leopard UG<\/strong> group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 10 at 7:55 PM<\/strong>, the group launched ten 79mm mortars<\/strong> at the police station. Nine of the shells landed and exploded within the compound<\/strong>, causing significant damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police station is considered a key security installation for the junta. While casualties were reported among junta personnel, the exact number remains unconfirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operation was executed by Black Leopard UG<\/strong> with support from 31 UG<\/strong>. The group appealed to the public for assistance in supplying arms and ammunition to sustain further operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 3. Three Junta Troops Wounded in Attack on Military Unit at Koe Su Pagoda, Yinmarbin Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Koe Su Pagoda<\/strong>, near Allakappa Village<\/strong>, Yinmarbin Township<\/strong>, Sagaing District<\/strong>, Sagaing Region<\/strong>, resistance forces attacked a junta unit, resulting in three junta soldiers being seriously injured<\/strong>, according to Black Eagle Defence Force (MMU)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack occurred at 10:15 AM on July 11<\/strong>, targeting approximately 20 junta troops<\/strong> who had traveled from the Dot Myanmarkyaw and Myaung junction military outposts<\/strong> to Koe Su Pagoda. The attack involved a single 40mm grenade<\/strong> and light arms fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three junta soldiers were critically wounded, and the remaining troops reportedly fled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a separate operation, approximately 50 junta troops<\/strong> traveling in five civilian vehicles<\/strong> toward the southern side of Allakappa Village were ambushed with pre-laid mines (three mines at two points and four at another point)<\/strong> and engaged in close-quarters combat using three 40mm grenades and small arms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These coordinated attacks were led by the PDF Yinmarbin Township<\/strong>, in cooperation with the Black Eagle Defence Force (MMU)<\/strong>, the Allakappa PDF<\/strong>, the PDF Pale Township<\/strong>, the Water Dragon unit (Chaung-U People\u2019s Defence)<\/strong>, Tiger Cub TGR (Myaung)<\/strong>, and other local resistance groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 4. Fierce Clashes in Hpakant Result in Heavy Casualties Among Junta Forces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 11<\/strong>, intense clashes broke out in Hpakant Township<\/strong>, Kachin State<\/strong>, between junta forces and joint units of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA)<\/strong> and allied resistance groups, resulting in heavy casualties among junta troops<\/strong>, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fighting erupted when KIA and the Kachin People’s Defence Force (KPDF)<\/strong> jointly attacked the junta military camp in Swat Bum Village<\/strong> (also known as the dumpsite area) during the morning of July 11<\/strong>. Reports indicate that around 10 junta soldiers were killed<\/strong>, and the remaining troops retreated toward Chin Buddha Pagoda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later that afternoon<\/strong>, an explosion occurred at a location where junta forces had stockpiled weapons and ammunition, reportedly causing additional fatalities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Separately, in Maung Maung Layan Village<\/strong>, junta troops advancing into the area reportedly shot and killed five civilians<\/strong>. Only two of the bodies were allowed to be retrieved and buried<\/strong>, while the remaining three bodies are still lying inside the village<\/strong>, sources said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, junta troops are stationed in various areas of Hpakant Township<\/strong>, including Maung Maung Layan<\/strong>, Swat Ngai Yan<\/strong>, the Dumpsite<\/strong>, and Maw Si Zar<\/strong>. Reports indicate they are preparing military movements toward the Maw Maung Hill and La Maung Hill<\/strong> areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 5. Woman Dies from Cardiac Arrest Due to Artillery Explosion in Kyainseikgyi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Kyainseikgyi Township<\/strong>, Dooplaya District<\/strong>, within the Kawkareik administrative zone<\/strong> of the Karen National Union (KNU)<\/strong>, a 55-year-old woman<\/strong> died of cardiac arrest<\/strong> following a junta artillery explosion, according to a KNU statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the night of July 9 at 10:00 PM<\/strong>, junta troops from Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 545<\/strong>, based in Kyainseikgyi, fired 120mm heavy artillery shells<\/strong>, one of which landed and exploded in Aung Bala Kone Village<\/strong>, part of the Thalwe Htaw Village Tract<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The blast reportedly caused extreme fear and panic<\/strong>, leading to heart failure and death<\/strong> of the woman, a resident of Aung Bala Kone Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
