According to a statement released by the Complaint Mechanism of the NUG Ministry of Labour, despite demands for wage payments, the factory did not fully comply and instead subjected the workers to various forms of workplace harassment.

The affected workers reported the issue to the MHAC (Migrant Humanitarian Assistance Committee), a labour rights coalition. On July 2, officials from the NUG Ministry of Labour and members of the MHAC met with the workers outside the factory premises to discuss the situation and document their needs. Following this, on July 8, a formal complaint was filed at the Sawaidikan Office on behalf of 50 of the affected workers.

========================

📌📌 2.
