At 7:19 AM on July 3<\/strong>, resistance forces attacked a junta military convoy transporting arms and ammunition between Ngan Zun and Myotha<\/strong>, on the Myotha\u2013Simeekhon road<\/strong> in Myingyan District, Mandalay Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a statement from the ZERO Urban Guerrilla Force<\/strong>, the convoy disintegrated, and troops fled the battlefield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigations confirm that approximately 30 junta troops<\/strong>, including the column commander<\/strong>, were killed in the attack, and 4 soldiers<\/strong>, including a sergeant<\/strong>, were captured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operation was a coordinated assault involving Zero Guerrilla Unit (Myingyan District Battalion 7)<\/strong>, Mandalay District Battalion 5<\/strong>, and local People\u2019s Defense Forces (PDFs).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the evening of July 3<\/strong>, two junta police officers from Yangon\u2019s Hmawbi Police Battalion 5<\/strong>, who were on security duty at Taungtha\u2019s No. 1 Swutkyel Factory<\/strong>, were arrested while sneaking out of their post to buy beer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Pa Ka Pha (People\u2019s Defense Organization) in Taungtha Township under NUG<\/strong>, the officers were apprehended by PDF police forces while trying to exit the compound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two detainees are identified as Police Constable Aung Siha (ID: L-306917)<\/strong> and Deputy Sergeant Han We Aung (ID: L-264588)<\/strong>. They were caught with one motorcycle, two mobile phones, and one hand grenade.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The military junta<\/strong> has launched violent and deliberate attacks targeting civilian populations in Lailo and Sawhti Townships<\/strong>, firing artillery and launching airstrikes on villages where civilians reside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, five innocent civilians<\/strong> were killed and 25 others<\/strong> injured. Additionally, two houses<\/strong> were destroyed, and three cows<\/strong> were killed, according to a statement from KNUs Central Command<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 1 at 9:00 PM<\/strong>, Infantry Battalion 264<\/strong>, based in Pinezalote<\/strong>, fired two 81mm heavy mortars into Ywarthin Kone Village in Lailo Township<\/strong>, damaging a house and killing three cows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, on June 29<\/strong>, a junta jet fighter<\/strong> from Taungoo Air Base<\/strong> carried out an airstrike on Wekyidwe Village<\/strong>, killing four civilians:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
