Junta Forces Destroy Myochaung-Sain Kant Lant Road in Minhla Township Using Bulldozers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 4<\/strong><br>According to the local news source&nbsp;<em>Minhla Thadin<\/em>, the military junta, fearing potential attacks from resistance forces targeting Minhla town and Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 1, has destroyed the Myochaung\u2013Sain Kant Lant main road using bulldozers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>10:00 AM on July 1<\/strong>, near&nbsp;<strong>Thike Myaung Hill<\/strong>&nbsp;along the Myochaung\u2013Sain Kant Lant road located within the western part of Minhla Township, western Bago Region, junta forces reportedly used bulldozers and excavators to dig trenches and demolish the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was reported that&nbsp;<strong>three armored vehicles<\/strong>&nbsp;and approximately&nbsp;<strong>400 junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;arrived in a convoy and proceeded to destroy the road with heavy machinery near Thike Myaung Hill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local residents said the&nbsp;<strong>road was destroyed over a width of roughly 10 feet<\/strong>, severely hindering transportation and movement in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Myochaung\u2013Sain Kant Lant<\/strong>&nbsp;road is approximately&nbsp;<strong>112 kilometers long<\/strong>&nbsp;and connects&nbsp;<strong>Kyauk Tan Khar Township<\/strong>&nbsp;in eastern Bago with the western part of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 9<\/strong>, junta troops had already used bulldozers and dug trenches\u2014also about&nbsp;<strong>10 feet wide<\/strong>\u2014to damage the road near the&nbsp;<strong>2-Mile Gate<\/strong>&nbsp;along the same Myochaung\u2013Sain Kant Lant route, within Kyauk Tan Khar Township, according to&nbsp;<em>Minhla Thadin<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, at approximately&nbsp;<strong>4:00 PM on July 3<\/strong>, junta forces carried out a&nbsp;<strong>drone bombing attack<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Tharyaw Kon village<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Htaut Kone village tract<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Minhla Township<\/strong>, resulting in&nbsp;<strong>three civilian homes being destroyed<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>three civilians seriously injured<\/strong>, local sources said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since&nbsp;<strong>June 19<\/strong>, junta forces have been conducting&nbsp;<strong>split military operations<\/strong>&nbsp;in Minhla Township. Landmine Attack on Junta Troop Movement Near Sin Paung Wae Results in Deaths of 8 Soldiers Including a Military Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 4<\/strong><br>According to a statement from the&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defense Force\u2013Ponnawati (Taung Twin Gyi)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>eight junta soldiers<\/strong>, including a military officer, were killed in a landmine ambush on a junta unit en route to rotate guards at a checkpoint along the&nbsp;<strong>Koe Pin\u2013Thagara road<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Sin Paung Wae Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Magway Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 27 at 9:30 AM<\/strong>, junta soldiers traveling from both&nbsp;<strong>Thar Si checkpoint<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Thapyay San checkpoint<\/strong>&nbsp;were ambushed at two separate locations with&nbsp;<strong>landmine attacks<\/strong>&nbsp;near&nbsp;<strong>Padetha village<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operation was reportedly carried out jointly by the&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defense Force\u2013Ponnawati (Taung Twin Gyi)<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Regiment 5 of Tharyet District<\/strong>, Sin Paung Wae Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack resulted in&nbsp;<strong>eight fatalities<\/strong>, including a captain, and&nbsp;<strong>11 others were severely injured<\/strong>. Two Junta Soldiers Killed in Landmine Attack While Attempting to Ambush in Chaung-U Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 4<\/strong><br>According to a press release from the&nbsp;<strong>Burma Liberation Democratic Front (BLDF)<\/strong>, a junta unit attempting to stage an ambush was targeted by a landmine attack in&nbsp;<strong>Khin Mon Village<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Chaung-U Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Sagaing Region<\/strong>, resulting in the deaths of&nbsp;<strong>two junta soldiers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At&nbsp;<strong>2:45 PM on July 3<\/strong>, a junta unit departing from the&nbsp;<strong>Myapuleh farm<\/strong>&nbsp;in Khin Mon Village to conduct an ambush operation was hit by a&nbsp;<strong>landmine strike<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is reported that the junta troops left the Myapuleh farm,&nbsp;<strong>firing small arms indiscriminately<\/strong>, while moving to set up the ambush location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack was carried out collaboratively by&nbsp;<strong>Region 3 of the Burma Liberation Democratic Front<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Thalawaddy Column\u2013Anyar Mine Unit<\/strong>, as confirmed by resistance sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>4. Junta-Appointed Administrators and Military Collaborators Executed in Khamaunggyi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 4<\/strong><br>The People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF) from&nbsp;<strong>Kawthaung Township<\/strong>&nbsp;announced on July 4 that they had executed&nbsp;<strong>Hla Naing<\/strong>, a junta-appointed local administrator, and&nbsp;<strong>Kyaw Kalat (aka Myint Shine)<\/strong>, an individual working for the military, in&nbsp;<strong>Khamaunggyi Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the announcement,&nbsp;<strong>Kyaw Kalat (aka Myint Shine)<\/strong>, a resident of&nbsp;<strong>Aye Chan Thar Village<\/strong>, was executed at&nbsp;<strong>10:30 AM on July 2<\/strong>. He was accused of&nbsp;<strong>collaborating with the junta<\/strong>, being involved in&nbsp;<strong>the trade of narcotic drugs<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>spying on revolutionary forces<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>informing the junta of resistance movements<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>oppressing villagers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later that same morning, at&nbsp;<strong>11:50 AM<\/strong>, junta-appointed&nbsp;<strong>village administrator Hla Naing<\/strong>, who resided in&nbsp;<strong>Saikphu Village<\/strong>, was also executed inside the village by PDF members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PDF in Kawthaung stated that&nbsp;<strong>the use and sale of WY methamphetamine pills<\/strong>, which have destructive effects on young people, is widespread across both&nbsp;<strong>Kawthaung<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Khamaunggyi<\/strong>&nbsp;townships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They urged the public to&nbsp;<strong>report any drug dealers or users<\/strong>, pledging to take effective legal action. Informational leaflets have reportedly been distributed to raise public awareness of these issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the PDF called on people in Kawthaung Township to&nbsp;<strong>refrain from engaging in drug activities<\/strong>, and warned that&nbsp;<strong>any individuals involved with the junta apparatus<\/strong>&nbsp;should&nbsp;<strong>switch allegiance to the people<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>seek protection under the people&#8217;s movement without delay<\/strong>. Those who refuse to do so will be subject to&nbsp;<strong>necessary and decisive action<\/strong>, in accordance with revolutionary procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>5. Clashes Continue at Five Locations in Naungcho Between Junta Forces and TNLA; Junta Uses Airstrikes and Hundreds of Heavy Artillery Shells<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 4<\/strong><br>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Ta&#8217;ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)<\/strong>, fighting continues between&nbsp;<strong>junta troops and TNLA forces<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>five locations in Naungcho Township<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Northern Shan State<\/strong>, which falls under&nbsp;<strong>Military Region 3 of the Ta&#8217;ang Region<\/strong>. The junta reportedly deployed&nbsp;<strong>airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;and fired&nbsp;<strong>hundreds of heavy artillery shells<\/strong>&nbsp;in these engagements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The areas where the clashes took place include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Naunglin<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kyauk Taw<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ommakha<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Between\u00a0<strong>Lone San and Lone Yae villages<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Between\u00a0<strong>Ommathi and Sammasa villages<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the TNLA\u2019s Information Department (PSLF\/TNLA), junta forces launched&nbsp;<strong>six aerial bombs<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>112 rounds of heavy artillery<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>20 drone-dropped bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;during these assaults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, in the&nbsp;<strong>Naunglin battle on July 2<\/strong>, the junta launched&nbsp;<strong>two air-dropped bombs<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>85 artillery shells<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>13 drone bombs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta also reportedly dropped&nbsp;<strong>seven drone bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;between&nbsp;<strong>Kyauk Taw and Lone Yae<\/strong>, fired&nbsp;<strong>15 artillery shells<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>Sammasa Village<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>12 artillery shells<\/strong>&nbsp;between&nbsp;<strong>Lone Yae and Lone San<\/strong>. In addition,&nbsp;<strong>four air-dropped bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;were used in a strike on&nbsp;<strong>Ngok Khale Village<\/strong>, despite no fighting taking place there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 1<\/strong>, fighting also broke out in&nbsp;<strong>Ommakha<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Myetchinu<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Lone San<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Kyauk Taw<\/strong>, with the junta using airstrikes.
