Karenni Joint Resistance Forces Announce Capture of LIB-134 and Downing of a Chinese-Made FTC-2000G Jet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 3<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Karenni Joint Resistance Forces have announced that they successfully seized&nbsp;<strong>Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 134<\/strong>, based in&nbsp;<strong>Hpasawng<\/strong>, on&nbsp;<strong>June 30, 2025<\/strong>, following an offensive that began on&nbsp;<strong>June 25<\/strong>&nbsp;targeting both&nbsp;<strong>LIB-134<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>LIB-135<\/strong>, units of the illegal military junta stationed in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the start of the offensive until now, the junta has launched heavy counterattacks using various jet fighters and military aircraft, including&nbsp;<strong>Y-12<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Y-8<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>FTC-2000G<\/strong>, and other military transport planes, in an attempt to defend the two battalions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 2, 2025<\/strong>, around&nbsp;<strong>1:00 a.m.<\/strong>, four junta jet fighters flew in to bomb targets in Hpasawng. Karenni Joint Resistance Forces responded with anti-aircraft fire and successfully shot down one&nbsp;<strong>FTC-2000G<\/strong>&nbsp;fighter jet\u2014manufactured in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The downed jet was later located near&nbsp;<strong>Hpasawng<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>July 3, 2025<\/strong>, at around&nbsp;<strong>2:00 p.m.<\/strong>, by Karenni forces, who recovered parts of the aircraft\u2019s wreckage along with&nbsp;<strong>body fragments of the two pilots<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Karenni Joint Resistance Forces reaffirmed that they will&nbsp;<strong>continue to counter and resist<\/strong>&nbsp;the junta\u2019s airstrikes and offensives\u2014carried out with advanced weaponry\u2014by all means necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Ambush on Column from LIB-416 in Chaung-U Township: 3 Killed, Around 15 Wounded Including an Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 3<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>July 2<\/strong>, a military column of approximately&nbsp;<strong>80 junta troops<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>LIB-416<\/strong>, under the Southern Command, was ambushed at a location between&nbsp;<strong>Myepadone<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Taungtha villages<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Chaung-U Township<\/strong>&nbsp;by a coalition of resistance forces. The engagement began around&nbsp;<strong>11:15 a.m.<\/strong>&nbsp;and lasted roughly&nbsp;<strong>90 minutes<\/strong>, according to a statement from the&nbsp;<strong>Myaing People\u2019s Defence Force (PaKaPha)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the clash,&nbsp;<strong>three junta soldiers were confirmed dead<\/strong>, and around&nbsp;<strong>15 others<\/strong>\u2014including&nbsp;<strong>one officer<\/strong>\u2014were&nbsp;<strong>severely wounded<\/strong>. Although the military attempted to support the column with&nbsp;<strong>three rounds of airstrikes<\/strong>, it was ultimately&nbsp;<strong>forced to retreat<\/strong>&nbsp;without further advancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ambush was carried out by a joint force consisting of&nbsp;<strong>Myaing PaKaPha<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Pauk PaKaPha<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Chaung-U Township Revolution Force (CRA)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Magway District Battalion 1<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Chaung-U PaKaPha<\/strong>, and local allied units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. 7-Day Ambush Operation in Ngazun Township Results in 28 Junta Deaths<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 3<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Special Task Force &#8211; Ngazun<\/strong>, a military column of around&nbsp;<strong>200 troops<\/strong>&nbsp;from the junta\u2014using&nbsp;<strong>7 vehicles<\/strong>\u2014departed from&nbsp;<strong>Tantabin Township<\/strong>&nbsp;toward&nbsp;<strong>Ngazun Township<\/strong>. After stopping between the&nbsp;<strong>Gway Kone checkpoint<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>industrial zone<\/strong>, the column continued on foot. Resistance forces initiated a&nbsp;<strong>landmine ambush<\/strong>&nbsp;and conducted&nbsp;<strong>a 7-day long concealed encirclement<\/strong>, culminating in a full-scale assault that killed&nbsp;<strong>28 junta soldiers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta convoy included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One\u00a0<strong>12-wheeled truck<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three\u00a0<strong>pickup trucks<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One\u00a0<strong>light transport vehicle<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two\u00a0<strong>Matador armored trucks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The ambush took place near a landmine field that resistance forces had prepared in advance. On&nbsp;<strong>July 1 at around 5:40 a.m.<\/strong>, the junta column entered the kill zone. Five Junta Soldiers Killed in Attack While Repairing Power Lines in Taungtha Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July 3<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement from&nbsp;<strong>Myingyan District Battalion No. (3)<\/strong>, on&nbsp;<strong>July 1<\/strong>, junta soldiers stationed at a steel factory in&nbsp;<strong>Taungtha Township<\/strong>&nbsp;were attacked while attempting to repair an electric power line leading to the factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having received intelligence in advance, resistance forces&nbsp;<strong>laid in ambush<\/strong>&nbsp;and launched the attack at approximately&nbsp;<strong>4:40 a.m.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the clash,&nbsp;<strong>two junta soldiers were killed<\/strong>&nbsp;on the spot, with their weapons seized while&nbsp;<strong>their bodies were abandoned as the remaining troops fled<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, it was confirmed that&nbsp;<strong>three more junta soldiers died<\/strong>&nbsp;from injuries at&nbsp;<strong>Taungtha Hospital<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>approximately 20 others were wounded<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two soldiers killed during the clash were cremated on&nbsp;<strong>July 2<\/strong>.
