Junta checkpoint near Nyaung Kone police station in Pyawbwe Township attacked \u2014 four junta soldiers including a commissioned officer killed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 27<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement from&nbsp;<strong>Aung San&#8217;s Land Natmauk Armed Force<\/strong>, a checkpoint manned by junta troops collecting extortion tolls near&nbsp;<strong>Nyaung Kone Police Station<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Pyawbwe Township<\/strong>, Mandalay Region, was attacked on&nbsp;<strong>June 26, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time of the attack, the checkpoint was manned by a total of&nbsp;<strong>six personnel<\/strong>: four junta soldiers, one police officer, and one Pyusawhti militia member. The revolutionary force carried out a&nbsp;<strong>foot assault<\/strong>, killing&nbsp;<strong>four junta soldiers<\/strong>, including a&nbsp;<strong>commissioned officer<\/strong>. The&nbsp;<strong>police officer and Pyusawhti member reportedly fled<\/strong>, abandoning their weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clash lasted only&nbsp;<strong>three minutes<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>all resistance fighters withdrew safely without casualties<\/strong>. From the site, they seized:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Three MA-1 assault rifles<\/strong>\u00a0(one damaged)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sixty-four rounds of 5.56mm ammunition<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Extorted cash totalling MMK 185,000<\/strong>\u00a0collected from travelers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two mobile phones<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. KNDO-led allied force overruns Pyusawhti camp in Kyokka Village, Palaw \u2014 three enemy bodies, multiple weapons and ammunition seized<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 27<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At approximately&nbsp;<strong>5:30 AM on June 27, 2025<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Joint Allied Force<\/strong>, consisting of&nbsp;<strong>KNDO Battalion 7 and Battalion 1 of the People&#8217;s Defense Force (Myeik District)<\/strong>, launched a successful raid on a&nbsp;<strong>junta-aligned Pyusawhti militia camp<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Kyokka Village, Palaw Township<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operation lasted around&nbsp;<strong>15 minutes<\/strong>, during which the Pyusawhti militiamen&nbsp;<strong>fled the post<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The allied forces seized the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Three enemy corpses<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Four M16A1 rifles and two magazines<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>One AK-47 rifle and four magazines<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1,000 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>138 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two hand grenades<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Various other military equipment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After securing the site, the joint allied units&nbsp;<strong>conducted area clearing operations and successfully withdrew without sustaining any casualties<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Resistance forces launch daily mine attacks on junta convoy departing from Pakokku-based Division 101<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 27<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement from the&nbsp;<strong>Kamma Joint Forces<\/strong>, revolutionary forces have been conducting&nbsp;<strong>daily mine attacks<\/strong>&nbsp;against a&nbsp;<strong>military convoy of over 120 junta vehicles and approximately 1,000 soldiers<\/strong>, which departed from&nbsp;<strong>Division 101 in Pakokku<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>May 31<\/strong>, under the command of a junta lieutenant colonel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attacks have focused on the&nbsp;<strong>Pakokku\u2013Kamma\u2013Yebya Road<\/strong>&nbsp;and surrounding areas of&nbsp;<strong>Kamma<\/strong>, including ambushes on supply routes, sabotage operations, and direct clashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>June 24<\/strong>, a junta soldier defected to the resistance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>June 25<\/strong>, another soldier surrendered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The resistance also\u00a0<strong>captured an excavator used by junta troops during mine clearance operations<\/strong>, reportedly damaged in one of the attacks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement accuses the&nbsp;<strong>terrorist junta<\/strong>&nbsp;of behaving like \u201ccornered rats\u201d by arresting and executing civilians, bombing&nbsp;<strong>residential homes, religious sites<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>IDP shelters<\/strong>. So far, the junta has&nbsp;<strong>abducted 15 civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>executed seven<\/strong>, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. PNA Battalion Commander Lt. Colonel Naung Sine killed in Saung Nankhe battle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 27<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 23<\/strong>, a joint column of the&nbsp;<strong>terrorist junta troops<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>PNO\/PNA People\u2019s Militia<\/strong>&nbsp;advanced into&nbsp;<strong>Saung Nankhe Village<\/strong>, located on the eastern shore of&nbsp;<strong>Pekhon Lake<\/strong>. On&nbsp;<strong>June 26<\/strong>, while these troops were operating inside the village, they were attacked by drones launched by&nbsp;<strong>Pekhon Sky Predators Drone Force of Battalion 1006<\/strong>, part of&nbsp;<strong>Pekhon PDF<\/strong>, according to official reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the drone strike,&nbsp;<strong>Lt. Colonel Naung Sine<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>battalion commander<\/strong>&nbsp;from the&nbsp;<strong>PNA<\/strong>&nbsp;(Pa-O National Army), was killed. At least&nbsp;<strong>five other PNA soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;were reportedly injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon entering&nbsp;<strong>Saung Nankhe<\/strong>, PNA forces under junta command also&nbsp;<strong>set fire to civilian homes<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>looted household belongings<\/strong>, it was reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>PNO\/PNA People\u2019s Militia<\/strong>, under junta control, is said to be spearheading an aggressive military push into resistance-held areas along the eastern part of Pekhon Lake, with&nbsp;<strong>intensified clashes taking place<\/strong>.
