Over 100 SAC troops and Pyusawhti militias advancing east from Tharyetphauk village toward Zardi in Kanbalu Township; civilians urged to remain alert<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been reported that over 100 personnel from the junta&#8217;s armed forces and Pyusawhti militias who arrived in&nbsp;<strong>Zardi Village, Kanbalu Township<\/strong>, have begun advancing eastward from&nbsp;<strong>Tharyetphauk Village<\/strong>, prompting a warning for local civilians to stay vigilant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At&nbsp;<strong>9:40 a.m. on June 27<\/strong>, sources confirmed that the combined force\u2014comprising&nbsp;<strong>over 100 troops<\/strong>&nbsp;from the junta and Pyusawhti militia who had reached Zardi, joined by an additional&nbsp;<strong>30 Pyusawhti members from junta headquarters the previous day<\/strong>\u2014totaled approximately&nbsp;<strong>150 personnel<\/strong>, now moving east from Tharyetphauk Village, according to the&nbsp;<strong>Kanbalu District Kyunhla-Kanbalu Activist Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From&nbsp;<strong>June 23 to 25<\/strong>, around&nbsp;<strong>100 junta and Pyusawhti forces<\/strong>&nbsp;launched violent operations in the&nbsp;<strong>Zeekone area<\/strong>&nbsp;of Kanbalu Township,&nbsp;<strong>burning down civilian homes<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>killing nine unarmed civilians<\/strong>, including one from Swa, who were subjected to&nbsp;<strong>torture and executions by throat-slitting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The civilians executed were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>U Hlaing Zaza<\/strong>\u00a0(age 50, from Swa),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U Aung Naing<\/strong>\u00a0(45),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U Tayote Gyi<\/strong>\u00a0(45),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ko Myo Htet<\/strong>\u00a0(34),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U Win<\/strong>\u00a0(53, from Pholkon Village),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U Chit Win<\/strong>\u00a0(60, from Pholkon),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ko Thein Toe<\/strong>\u00a0(37, from Kyaungkone Village),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U Myint Maung<\/strong>\u00a0(45),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U Myo San<\/strong>\u00a0(45).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Most were&nbsp;<strong>tortured and killed with hands tied behind their backs<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>one civilian was burned alive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Two armed robbers killed, two captured with weapons during shootout with TNLA police in Mogok<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Public Relations Department of the PSLF\/TNLA<\/strong>, during a raid on an armed robbery group operating in&nbsp;<strong>Mogok<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Ta\u2019ang National Police<\/strong>&nbsp;engaged in a gunfight, resulting in&nbsp;<strong>two robbers killed<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>two captured along with weapons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The confrontation occurred at&nbsp;<strong>2:00 a.m. on June 26<\/strong>, near&nbsp;<strong>Yaylekyun<\/strong>, east of Mogok, when&nbsp;<strong>TNLA\u2019s police forces<\/strong>&nbsp;encountered the armed group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As police units from the&nbsp;<strong>Ta\u2019ang District and Township<\/strong>&nbsp;moved in to arrest the group at their hideout, the robbers resisted using a&nbsp;<strong>pistol<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>threw three hand grenades<\/strong>&nbsp;during the clash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of&nbsp;<strong>four firefights<\/strong>&nbsp;took place between TNLA police and the armed group. Junta airstrike kills one civilian and injures two youths in Kyaukme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>military junta<\/strong>&nbsp;launched a fresh&nbsp;<strong>airstrike on Kyaukme<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>northern Shan State<\/strong>&nbsp;and under the control of the&nbsp;<strong>Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)<\/strong>, killing&nbsp;<strong>one civilian<\/strong>&nbsp;and injuring&nbsp;<strong>two young men<\/strong>, according to TNLA reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bombing occurred in the&nbsp;<strong>early morning of June 27<\/strong>, during pre-dawn hours, when junta&nbsp;<strong>jet aircraft<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped bombs over&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukme town<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack targeted&nbsp;<strong>Ward 7<\/strong>, resulting in the&nbsp;<strong>death of a 49-year-old woman<\/strong>, injuries to&nbsp;<strong>two male youths aged 19 and 17<\/strong>, and the destruction of&nbsp;<strong>two homes<\/strong>, according to TNLA&#8217;s statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This follows a previous junta airstrike on&nbsp;<strong>June 24<\/strong>, when&nbsp;<strong>two 500-pound bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;were dropped on Kyaukme at midnight, killing&nbsp;<strong>two men and two women<\/strong>, and injuring&nbsp;<strong>at least 14 civilians<\/strong>. The latest strike occurred&nbsp;<strong>three days after that incident<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TNLA stated that during&nbsp;<strong>Operation 1027<\/strong>, it took control of multiple northern Shan towns including&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukme, Hsipaw, Namhsan, Monglon, Momeik, Mantong, Namtu, Kutkai, Nawnghkio, Namkham, Mongngaw<\/strong>, as well as&nbsp;<strong>Mogok in Mandalay Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>military junta<\/strong>&nbsp;is currently conducting intense assaults on&nbsp;<strong>Nawnghkio<\/strong>&nbsp;in an attempt to regain control. At the same time,&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukme, Mogok<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Namtu<\/strong>&nbsp;are being bombed, contributing to intensified fighting in Nawnghkio Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TNLA has therefore urged local civilians to remain on high alert for military assaults and to follow&nbsp;<strong>air-raid defense protocols<\/strong>&nbsp;to protect themselves from further aerial attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Seven junta soldiers killed in ambush on two military vehicles looting civilian property in Kamma, Pakokku Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Pakokku People\u2019s Defense Force (PPDF)<\/strong>&nbsp;has reported that&nbsp;<strong>seven junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;were killed during an ambush on&nbsp;<strong>two military vehicles<\/strong>&nbsp;that were looting civilian property in&nbsp;<strong>Kamma<\/strong>, a town in&nbsp;<strong>Pakokku Township, Magway Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, the incident occurred at approximately&nbsp;<strong>10:00 a.m. on June 26<\/strong>, when joint revolutionary forces ambushed two junta vehicles that were actively looting items from civilian homes in Kamma. The attack reportedly resulted in&nbsp;<strong>seven junta troops killed<\/strong>&nbsp;and a number of others injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The military convoy, deployed from&nbsp;<strong>Tatmadaw Division 101<\/strong>, based in Pakokku, had been dispatched toward&nbsp;<strong>Pauk Township<\/strong>&nbsp;and arrived in Kamma in early June. During the time when local residents were in hiding, the troops&nbsp;<strong>set fire to civilian homes<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>stole property<\/strong>, prompting the resistance forces to launch the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The convoy has since been&nbsp;<strong>blocked and trapped<\/strong>&nbsp;in Kamma due to coordinated attacks by People\u2019s Defense Forces (PDFs), and is reportedly&nbsp;<strong>unable to proceed to its intended destination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ambush was jointly carried out by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pakokku People\u2019s Defense Force (PPDF)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ABSDF Column 3<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aung Kyaw &#8211; RG<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Township People\u2019s Liberation Force (Pa La Pha)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tiger Warrior Force (TWF)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Anyar Guerrilla Force led by Ko Zaw Mike<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Youth Guerrilla Force (YGF)<\/strong>\u00a0led by\u00a0<strong>Ko Yekhae<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Ko Bala<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>No casualties were reported on the side of the joint resistance forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the convoy is believed to be heading toward&nbsp;<strong>Pauk Township<\/strong>, local revolutionary forces have issued an urgent alert for civilians in the area to remain highly cautious and vigilant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Clashes ongoing in five villages of Nawnghkio Township between junta troops and TNLA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement released on&nbsp;<strong>June 27<\/strong>&nbsp;by the&nbsp;<strong>Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>ongoing battles<\/strong>&nbsp;are taking place in&nbsp;<strong>five villages<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>Nawnghkio Township<\/strong>, a region in the&nbsp;<strong>Third Military Region of Northern Shan State<\/strong>, between junta forces and TNLA troops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fighting is occurring in the villages of&nbsp;<strong>Nawnghpa, Nyan Taw, Lonsan, Ommakha<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Nawnglin<\/strong>, with the junta reportedly deploying&nbsp;<strong>70 rounds of heavy artillery<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>drones<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>32 aerial bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;during the clashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a battle that took place&nbsp;<strong>yesterday<\/strong>&nbsp;between&nbsp;<strong>Nawnglin and Nawnghpa villages<\/strong>, the junta launched&nbsp;<strong>39 artillery shells<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>17 drone-dropped bombs<\/strong>, damaging at least&nbsp;<strong>one civilian home<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Nyan Taw village<\/strong>, the junta reportedly used&nbsp;<strong>31 artillery rounds<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>15 bombs<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped via drones in their assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Three Brotherhood Alliance<\/strong>, which includes the TNLA, has previously stated that their forces are&nbsp;<strong>not conducting offensive operations<\/strong>&nbsp;in these conflict areas in order to maintain humanitarian relief efforts for&nbsp;<strong>earthquake-affected civilians<\/strong>. They also affirmed a&nbsp;<strong>unilateral one-month ceasefire extension<\/strong>.
