Weapons and Combat Supplies Provided to Royal Thunder Column Troops Through Public Campaigns and Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 26<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>National Unity Government (NUG)<\/strong>\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Naypyitaw Military Region, Battalion 808<\/strong>, known as the&nbsp;<strong>Royal Thunder Column<\/strong>, has announced that it successfully procured&nbsp;<strong>weapons, ammunition, and military supplies<\/strong>&nbsp;using public donations raised through its prior campaigns and projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&#8220;Territory Seizure \u2013 One Brick Each&#8221; Campaign<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;Swap the Land, Swap the Gun&#8221; Project<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;Shields For Three&#8221; Campaign<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The funds collected through these efforts were used to fulfill the battalion\u2019s operational needs in a timely manner. The weapons and supplies have been distributed to frontline fighters actively engaged in combat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The battalion expressed&nbsp;<strong>gratitude to all domestic donors<\/strong>&nbsp;as well as&nbsp;<strong>international fundraisers (FRs)<\/strong>&nbsp;who contributed to the campaigns. It also urged continued support for upcoming&nbsp;<strong>projects and challenges<\/strong>, emphasizing that many operational needs still remain unmet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Seven Junta Soldiers Killed, 22 Captured in Battle Along the Sittaung River<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 26<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a joint operation led by&nbsp;<strong>PDF<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>KNLA<\/strong>&nbsp;under the command of&nbsp;<strong>Southern Military Region Division-2 JOC<\/strong>, junta forces in&nbsp;<strong>Kyaukkyi Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Bago Region<\/strong>, were attacked on&nbsp;<strong>June 26<\/strong>&nbsp;during the&nbsp;<strong>Sittaung River Offensive<\/strong>, resulting in the&nbsp;<strong>death of at least 7 junta soldiers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The joint forces reported that the military column retreated in disarray after suffering heavy casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally,&nbsp;<strong>22 junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;were&nbsp;<strong>captured alive<\/strong>&nbsp;and designated as prisoners of war. Nine Civilians Tortured and Beheaded by Junta Forces in Kanbalu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 26<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Kyunhla-Kanbalu Activist Group<\/strong>, junta troops launched a military operation into&nbsp;<strong>villages within Zee Kone Subtownship<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Kanbalu Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Sagaing Region<\/strong>, where they&nbsp;<strong>captured, tortured, and beheaded nine civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 23 at around 8:30 a.m.<\/strong>, approximately&nbsp;<strong>100 combined forces<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>junta troops and Pyu Saw Htee militia<\/strong>&nbsp;entered&nbsp;<strong>Seikphyu and Kyaung Kone villages<\/strong>&nbsp;via&nbsp;<strong>Wakto (South) Village<\/strong>, firing both heavy and light artillery. They proceeded to capture, torture, and kill unarmed civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victims have been identified as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>U Hlaing Zaza (50)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U Aung Naing (45)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U Ta Yote Gyi (45)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ko Myo Htet (34)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 all from\u00a0<strong>Seikphyu Village<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U Win (53)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>U Chit Win (60)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 from\u00a0<strong>Folkone<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ko Thein Toe (37)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>U Myint Maung (45)<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>U Myo San (45)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 from\u00a0<strong>Kyaung Kone Village<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Most were reportedly&nbsp;<strong>tortured and beheaded after being bound<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>one victim was burned to death<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The military column also&nbsp;<strong>burned down civilian homes<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>looted valuable property<\/strong>&nbsp;over a span of three consecutive days, up to&nbsp;<strong>June 25<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 26<\/strong>, the column withdrew from&nbsp;<strong>Seikphyu and Kyaung Kone villages<\/strong>, entered the&nbsp;<strong>Zee Kone Sugar Mill compound<\/strong>, and by around&nbsp;<strong>12:00 p.m.<\/strong>, advanced into&nbsp;<strong>Gway Kone Village<\/strong>, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. One Civilian Injured, Three Homes Damaged by Junta Heavy Artillery Shelling in Naungcho Town<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 26<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 26 at 8:30 a.m.<\/strong>, without any active clashes in the area, junta forces indiscriminately fired&nbsp;<strong>four rounds of heavy artillery (Howitzer shells)<\/strong>&nbsp;into&nbsp;<strong>Zone 9, Zay Ward<\/strong>, in&nbsp;<strong>Naungcho Town<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Northern Shan State<\/strong>. The attack injured&nbsp;<strong>one civilian<\/strong>&nbsp;and damaged a&nbsp;<strong>residential home<\/strong>&nbsp;sheltering internally displaced persons (IDPs), according to a statement by&nbsp;<strong>PSLF\/TNLA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, at&nbsp;<strong>10:45 p.m. on June 25<\/strong>, junta troops had fired&nbsp;<strong>eight artillery shells<\/strong>&nbsp;into&nbsp;<strong>Zone 10<\/strong>, also in Zay Ward,&nbsp;<strong>Naungcho<\/strong>, damaging&nbsp;<strong>two homes<\/strong>. Some of the shells exploded in the forest area beneath the&nbsp;<strong>Kyauk Kuu Monastery<\/strong>, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emergency medical assistance was provided to those injured in the attack, and the&nbsp;<strong>Naungcho Fire Department<\/strong>, along with local residents, responded to extinguish fires at the impacted homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, throughout&nbsp;<strong>June 25<\/strong>, while fighting was ongoing in&nbsp;<strong>Naunglin, Naungaw, Lonsan<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Naungpha villages<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Naungcho Township<\/strong>, junta forces carried out drone and artillery attacks, launching a total of&nbsp;<strong>28 bombs from drones<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>68 rounds of heavy artillery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In\u00a0<strong>Naunglin Village<\/strong>, 14 drone bombs and 54 artillery shells were fired.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In\u00a0<strong>Naungaw Village<\/strong>, 7 drone bombs and 7 artillery shells were used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lonsan Village<\/strong>\u00a0was hit with 4 drone bombs and 7 artillery shells.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Even in\u00a0<strong>Ummakha Village<\/strong>, where no fighting occurred, 3 drone bombs were dropped.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. One Civilian Injured by PNO People\u2019s Militia Shelling in Naung Bo Village<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 26<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Naung Bo Village<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Hsihseng Township, Southern Shan State<\/strong>, a civilian was injured after heavy artillery shelling by&nbsp;<strong>PNO People\u2019s Militia<\/strong>, which is under the control of the military junta, according to a report by&nbsp;<strong>PNLA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At&nbsp;<strong>8:00 p.m. on June 25<\/strong>, without any armed conflict in the area, the militia launched&nbsp;<strong>nine consecutive rounds<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>60mm artillery shells<\/strong>&nbsp;at the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, a 49-year-old man named&nbsp;<strong>Mu Dun<\/strong>&nbsp;sustained injuries from the shelling, and his house was also damaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was rescued and is currently receiving medical treatment from the&nbsp;<strong>PNLO\/PNLA rescue team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6. Red Star Allied Supply Column Officially Recognized as Logistics Unit of Tanintharyi Military Command<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 26<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Red Star Allied Supply Column<\/strong>, which has consistently supported the revolution since the junta\u2019s unlawful coup, has been&nbsp;<strong>officially recognized<\/strong>&nbsp;as a logistics unit under the&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Regional Military Command<\/strong>, following a series of discussions and meetings between both parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a&nbsp;<strong>mutual understanding agreement signed on June 21, 2025<\/strong>, between the Red Star Allied Column and the Tanintharyi Regional Command, Article (1) states that the Red Star Allied Column and its executive members and sub-units are now formally acknowledged as part of the Tanintharyi region\u2019s logistics structure \u2014 both as individual couriers and as organizational logistics providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>7. Five Forcibly Recruited Youths Defect from Myanmar Military and Surrender to Resistance Forces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 26<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 25<\/strong>, two young men from&nbsp;<strong>Basic Military Training Batch 10<\/strong>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<strong>No. 1 Advanced Training School in Gyobyu, Yangon<\/strong>, defected from the frontlines and surrendered to the&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha)<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Hommalin Township<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are currently being provided safe shelter and care by the Pa Ka Pha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Separately, on&nbsp;<strong>June 24<\/strong>, three other individuals \u2014&nbsp;<strong>Ko Hla Myo Tun<\/strong>&nbsp;(ID: PS\/152356),&nbsp;<strong>Chan Pyae Aung<\/strong>&nbsp;(ID: PS\/152813), and&nbsp;<strong>Nyein Thu Aung<\/strong>&nbsp;(ID: PS\/152829) \u2014 who had been forcibly conscripted into the Myanmar military, completed a three-month training course at&nbsp;<strong>Yar Kha Ta (1) Officer Training School<\/strong>, and were deployed to&nbsp;<strong>Battalion 251<\/strong>&nbsp;under&nbsp;<strong>Division 101 in Pakokku<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>June 16<\/strong>.
